If I could split the stars, I'd give the inside crew four and the drive-through only one. The inside would get four stars because, look, this is a McDonald's. So the stars aren't about the food. But when it comes to being a McDonald's, they do a pretty good job. This isn't the best neighborhood. And the clientele can be a little volatile. But I've been here three times and every time the food has been as good as any other McDonald's, the store is acceptably clean, and the staff are courteous and professional even with less-than-civil customers. So I admire them. They don't quite give a five-star experience, but that's not really the store's fault. But I've never successfully made it through the drive-through. Both times I gave up after five minutes without moving. How are they taking so long? It's a mystery. read more

Went to this location to grab breakfast. I wanted to place 2 orders and pay seperate for each order. I was told that I had to walk in if I wasn't paying once. Then they got my order wrong which I didn't discover until I got to my location. I ordered an egg mcmuffin and sausage mcmuffin no egg. They gave me 2 egg mcmuffins. This McDonalds is the best in Vallejo because they are really clean and have a nice in side playground i sat in there for 3 hours and there is guy walks around none stop cleaning the tables and floor I have even gone inside the tubes where the kids play it had no smell and was clean inside there all nice the new staff do a wonderful job and if they forgot to add your food to the bill no worries no cost. I got the number 2 and a kids meal and got 2 fry's and and some fish bites we went around the block notices are fry's were not in the bag we went through the drive thru told then they ask for all the food back and remade everything to make sure everything was there and all hot and fresh I thought that was really nice of them yes place's can mess up but they sure can make a happy costumer. read more

I stopped into this McDonalds because I needed to use the rest room to drop a double. After doing so I went to the counter to show my appreciation by ordering a cheeseburger for my dog and a soda for myself. I never just dump and run. While at the counter a cashier by the name of Shanikwa (please forgive any misspelling)started to call out a vagrant for trying to steal a soda from the self serve fountain. He had already filled the cup he pilfered from the garbage can outside when she stopped him dead in his tracks. She ordered him to pour out the soda, which he did out of pure fear of being beat down by Shanikwa (I would have been afraid, too). He was quite angry for being busted. After he poured out the soda, Shanikwa politely offered to get the vagrant a free cup of water, of which he declined. I guess water is not fitting for a vagrant of his stature. Anyway, I was purely impressed with Shanikwa's commanding ability to put an end to the vagrant's pilfering of free soda. It is because of vagrants like this that most places in Vallejo have stopped offering free refills for paying customers. Their act of entitlement and putting a dirty cup from the garbage can into the fountain nozzles to possibly infect customers disgusts me and many other people who work hard to pay for our own meals. If Shanikwa is not a manager at McDonalds, she should be. She showed great leadership skills and impressed all that witnessed the event. KUDOS Shanikwa! read more

ou...kay...I thought I should give one star because they are open 24 hours and the other star for the fact that they have two drive through lines. I have to say, this McDonalds gets orders more consistently wrong than any other place I have been in my entire life. It's not just that they get orders wrong, it is that they expect you to take the order anyway. Here is an example. Me: Hi, may I have one large coffee. On the side may I have 3 creams and 4 Splenda. McDonald: Do you want that in the coffee? Me: No thank you, I want the cream and Splenda on the side. (I can see that the order taker changes the order to black coffee 3 cream 3 spenda) McDonald; Will that be all? Me: Yes thank you. McDonald: That will be $1.06 at the second window. Me: Thank you. McDonald live person: That will be $1.20. Me: Oh I thought you said $1.06 Cha Ching McDonald: Here is your order. Me: Oh may I have 3 cream and 3 splenda. a stirrer and a napkin? McDonald: Yes, it's in the coffee. Me: Staring blankly and handing the coffee back to the live person. McDonald live person: Handing the wrong coffee back to me, a little louder "We put the cream and splenda inside the coffee already. Me: I did not order it that way. It's McDonald's. Don't really need to do TOO MUCH reviewing since everybody has tried mickey d's sometime in their lives. I'm far from a McDonald's fan. Only thing I ever really get from here is the mchicken with cheese, oreo mcflurry and their sausage mcmuffin with egg. These three things I must say both delicious and affordable. I give this McDonald's only two stars because when I order mchickens from here they are usually cold, sometimes their mcflurry machine is broken, and the most horrible experience I've had here is when I got a sausage mcmuffins with egg on a late night hype with the munchies and they didn't have strawberry jelly. When the employee handing me my food told me they didn't have any strawberry jelly I felt like a kid on christmas having my parents tell me I was bad all year and Santa only gave me a sack of coal. Literally. My far from sober self felt like a knife just got stuck in my chest. The employee offered me some grape jelly but seeing as I don't like the taste of grape jelly I kindly refused. The staff behind the counter took at least 90 seconds to acknowledge that I was there to place an order. The breakfast tasted fine but within 15 minutes of leaving we were all sick. Given that none of us had eaten anything prior to going to breakfast, we can only conclude that it was the food. The only thing we had in common was hte sausage and the hash browns. When I called to let someone know that something was wrong, the girl who answered the phone advised that "the manager is VERY busy and will have to call you back". I told her I would hold. She said some stuff in spanish and then a bunch of people started laughing. It turns out the Manager was on break and I ended up hanging up on her as there was a language barrior that coudln't be gapped. Another lady called me last night and said we all 3 should have gone to the Dr and to come in and fill out insurance papers. For what?
