Small Print Contradicts Pictures Images!
T B.

I went to McDonald's this morning expecting to pay $8.49 plus tax for the sausage McMuffin meal #2 pictured on their display. I was asked what I want to drink and in the picture it showed orange juice with the sandwich and hash browns so that's what I asked for, as I already had my coffee. Imagine my surprise when I was charged an extra dollar and $0.80 for the orange juice! Long story short, I got a full refund and apology from the manager who says, "I just work here." when I told her how deceitful the signage was. I took a picture and realized that the small print up at the top next to the words Breakfast Meals describes the real deal, contrary to what the picture implies. Let The Buyer Beware: The Big Print Giveth and The Small Print Taketh Away!

BTS. BTS. BTS. I came here to get the BTS meal and BTS must be a super powerful motivator since I've never gone to McDonald's out of my own volition. The BTS meal isn't something super special - they had a special sweet chili sauce and cajun sauce and I thought the cajun sauce went the best with the chicken nuggets in my opinion. I feel like the rest of the meal was also what I expected from McDonald's - I tried to get the McChicken and Big Mac combo secret menu meal and it made me so full but definitely really happy. This place did forget to give us 2 things off of what we ordered so that put a dent in my impression of the whole experience.

Today we went through the drive thru. We ordered 3 ice creams. The lady at the second window, was very nice lady, happy, smiling, helpful, thoughtful, understanding. Her job was only give us the ice creams, in the moment she reach to us with the ice creams, she was very nice, happy, positive actitud!. I really appreciate people like her. Specially when it comes to customer service. This days is hard to find someone who is in a good mood and kind. Love the positive experience.

This is not even edible. Why would you even serve this? I would have turned around and gotten a refund if I hadn't already drove away. This is absolutely insane. If you are the GM of this restaurant, please call me. I'm willing to return my entire meal by EOD for a refund.

Very bad service at this place will never be back . Waited for 35 minutes for three burgers is way to long.

If you're a fan of slow service, then walk into this store. Employees seem nice but this place is sooooooo slow everytime.

Okay but... a hotel coffee shop with good matcha? That's the plot twist I didn't know I needed…read more We stopped here on my way out of Santa Clara heading to San Francisco -- it's conveniently close to a bunch of other spots, and since it's tucked inside a hotel, parking was ridiculously easy. (Underrated luxury.) Now, the hotel itself? Visually... a moment. It looked like someone invested serious money into it, but the design felt a little space-meets-startup-meets-what's-happening-here. Some elements felt elevated, others felt a bit makeshift. I genuinely couldn't tell what the theme was -- futuristic? celestial? boutique-on-a-budget? I'm still processing. The front desk team was clearly well-trained and knowledgeable -- they had every answer, every stat, every rate breakdown ready. But the warmth? Missing. I was hoping for a little storytelling since I'd never heard of the hotel before, and instead got a very matter-of-fact "we've been here five years" energy. Efficient, yes. Inviting, not quite. But let's talk about why you're really here: the coffee shop. Completely different vibe. Two people working, both genuinely happy, welcoming, and quick. We ordered a latte and a matcha to go -- total was about $22, which made me blink for a second -- but then I tasted the matcha. Oh. This wasn't the overly sweet, dusty-green situation you sometimes get. It tasted clean. Real. High-quality. The kind of matcha that feels intentional. I love Firehouse in Marin, but this? This was closer to serious coffee roaster-level quality. Smooth, organic-tasting, beautifully balanced. You could tell they care about what they're serving. Branding was strong, the space was cute, and I could absolutely see myself sitting there with my laptop pretending I'm writing something important. We grabbed ours to go, but it had that easy, airy, "stay awhile" energy. Would I book the hotel? Jury's still out. They don't have an in-house spa and mentioned bringing in third-party services for certain amenities, which made it feel a little less full-service than I expected. Would I go back for the coffee shop? Without hesitation. Delicious drinks, easy parking, quick service, and a vibe that actually makes you want to come back. Sometimes the side character steals the show -- and in this case, it's 100% the matcha.

Because, once again, I was distracted by the quality of the food, and there would be no way for me to do anything else, but to eat! Today, I was in the mood for something more than a salad (much as I wanted to preset what I had the first time coming here, I made a concerted effort to order something else...), thus I chose the Forager Flatbread. It took less time to make this time (roughly about five minutes after ordering), and when it came out, I marveled at how it looked like a work of art! Just beautiful! Each piece of herbed formage blanc flatbread had a nice, crunchy bottom (but not blackened) and a slightly tanginess, with a a good amount of "hen-of-the-wood" mushrooms, sweet roasted garlic and a bed of arugula. My, oh, my! My first bite was a multi-level extravaganza! The crunch of the bread, followed by the aroma of the herbs and arugula, then the saltiness of the cheese, the sweetness of the roasted garlic, the earthiness of the mushrooms - all came together as just a wonderful work of culinary art! This being my first time eating today, my saliva glands just fired off at first bite, causing a bit of intense pain from too much saliva shooting out. But, seriously, this was a very delicious entree, that I enjoyed from start to finish! Bravo for this second joyous experience!

We ordered cocktails "Flying Ace" and "Cielo Rosa", Forager Flatbread, and Roasted Beet Salad, and cheese plate. The cocktails were fun and inventive, but maybe a bit too complex for us. The Flying Ace was a smoky old fashioned type drink with a charred cinnamon stick. Maybe the wrong choice for a sunny afternoon outdoor venue. The Cielo Rosa, with mezcal and jalapeño has a lot going on as well. The forager had great mushroom flavor and loved the roasted garlic. The first bites were great- wish they could have kept the crust crispier for later bites. (Heated plate works well) The beet salad was really good. The crushed pistachios really contrasted well with the beets.

The dishes I tried were just underwhelming and did not justify the price point, not even bakery. There is a strange mismatch between the location/ambiance and food. I mostly just stick to the coffee right now. Bonus point for getting to test robot delivery. :D

The fried chicken sandwich itself was pretty great, you have to love breading because the breading is very very heavy, but the meat itself was just as juicy. Very very fair pricing for such a huge burger and in a very nice location as well. The tender beef wrap was not so great at all, the beef was far from tender and more chewy than anything. The sauce and the wrapper itself did not really go together. It felt like two cultures trying to mix and nothing really worked out here.
