We don't normally eat at McDonald's, but after a long day of hiking we decided to treat ourselves to a large Sprite and a large Coke. It should have been one of the easiest drive-thru orders imaginable. Instead, we had to repeat our order over and over while the employees laughed and carried on with each other. Somehow, "large Sprite and a large Coke" became a challenge. After finally getting to the payment window and handing over cash, we were met with a rude "Hurry up and pull forward" as if we were the problem. It wasn't the wait that bothered us...it was the complete lack of customer service. We were never greeted, never treated with basic courtesy, and left feeling like we were interrupting their conversations. Looking through the other Yelp reviews afterward, it's clear our experience wasn't an isolated incident. There seems to be a consistent pattern of poor service at this location, which is unfortunate. We don't expect perfection from fast food, but we do expect employees to be respectful and capable of taking an order as simple as a large Sprite and a large Coke. Really good experience at this McDonald's while doing a quick Moab trip. It was clean and the ease of ordering at the kiosk was smooth. The food was hot! My fries were crisp and perfectly salted. My cheeseburger was tasty and seasoned well. read more

Stopped at the McDonald's in Moab for a quick bite and left with a smile. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient--some of the best service I've had at any McDonald's. My food came out hot and fresh, not just slapped together. The double cheeseburger was perfect--juicy, melty, and just the right amount of everything. Fries were crisp, not soggy, and even the drink machine was spotless and well-stocked. For a fast food joint in a high-traffic tourist town, they're running a tight ship. McDonald's employees in general usually don't care about good customer service but this location was awful! Several customers in the lobby were waiting for food that wasn't even being made. The employees hid the table tents so they didn't have to bring food out to the tables. Half my order was missing. When I told the girl at the counter, she turned around and handed me a random burger. I think she might have been high. Most people just sat and stared at customers instead of doing their job. read more

This McDonald's was immaculate. When we entered we noticed it was very clean and the service was great. My wife and I both ordered ice cream cones and pay a lot less than any nearby competitors. The size of our cones were unbelievable and were creamy delicious. Will definitely return. read more

Not sure I've reviewed a McDonald's before, but every once in a while (maybe once a year) I eat at a McD's where everything is perfect. The bun was fresh (which is unusual at McD's) & the burger perfectly cooked & prepared exactly as I specified on the big touch screen I ordered from. (I've come to prefer this to ordering in person because there are more options, including extra onions & no added salt. And communicating directly with the chef increases the chances that everything is right.) Clean restaurant, fast service, & delicious food that reminded me why McDonald's became so popular around the world. People who do their jobs & treat customers the way they'd like to be treated rule, so thanks to those who work here so well. read more

Bland Big Mac I headed to the McDonald's to eat some food and to pick up more to take back to our hotel. The restaurant was easy to find right along Main St. My order was for combo meal #1 large size, a Big Mac with large fries and a large drink. My order taker seemed unsure how to ring it up. Another employee, likely a manager, quickly came over to help him out. I assume he was an employee in training so no problem, many places are struggling to find and keep workers. My food was ready in just a couple of minutes, and I headed to a table. Many of the tables were not clean, the floor wasn't clean, the food prep area wasn't swept, just an overall negative. I unwrapped my Big Mac and it didn't look very appealing, I straightened out the stack just to try to take a good picture. It tasted kind of flat, not much flavor. I haven't done a Big Mac in quite some time, is this how they are? Reading other reviews, I did find some with the same complaint. My large fries were very good, as was my drink. Once I was done eating I dropped some stuff in my car and came back in to order for the family. This time I did have to stand at the register a bit too long before someone took my order, but it got done and I got my food. The new? employee was no longer on the register but was cleaning an unused seating area. This time, when my food was ready but before it was handed to me, I had to get out my receipt so the person holding my food could feel confident it was filled correctly? That it was for me? McDonald's has the best tasting coke period. I've always wondered why. I happened to listen to a podcast the other day that explained why. According to the podcast, McDonald's has had a contract from the very early days of McDonald's to get the first batch out of the syrup made. Which is the freshest, and the most consistent in taste. The way they explained it made perfect sense. So here we are at this location, and the coke taste nice and bubbly that goes up your nose, and makes you burp. When that happens you know you have a good coke. They still have long drive thru lines, as the lobby is still not open. Food is sub par especially their chicken sandwich. Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. We were on our way to Canyonlands and wanted to get coffee and a breakfast sandwich. There was a long drive-thru line and decided to go inside. We ordered two large black coffees and two sausage and egg McMuffins. While waiting for our food, I noticed the kitchen lacked organization and coordination. What really surprised us was when a woman in a black dress entered the store, holding a three year old entered the kitchen. She greeted the workers and operated some machines in the kitchen. She was in the kitchen for 3-5 minutes before leaving with the child in her arms and now holding an iced coffee. I was surprised that the restaurant would allow a child in their kitchen and thought of the liability if anything should happen. When we finally got our food we left to get on the road. When we unwrapped our sandwiches, we found that they gave us ham and egg and not sausage and egg like we ordered. Our coffee was the worst coffee we'd ever had. It was so watered down as if the same grounds and filter had been reused. We had to dump it out and stop somewhere else for coffee. This restaurant has potential and is obviously in need of a good manager. Never going here again. read more

The employees here are incredibly rude and unprofessional. When I gave my order at the drive through, the guy taking my order sounded impatient and unhappy to be there. I wasn't offended at that point. I just assumed that he must really hate his job. After pulling forward, the line was at a stand still for several minutes. When I finally got to the first window, nobody was in sight. I waited a moment to see if someone would come over, but nobody did. I pulled forward, assuming that they must also be taking payment at the pickup window. About 60 seconds later, a guy sticks his head out of the first window and yells at me, "Ma'am! You were supposed to pay at this window!" I told him that I tried to, but nobody was there. He said, "No! I was here!" Are you kidding me?! He wasn't doing his job, he denied it, and he shifted blame to the customer! Not only was he not there when I pulled up, he wasn't there for the next minute, which is how long it took for him to yell at me. When I pulled up to the second window, a different guy handed me most of my order, but implied that he had given me everything. I reminded him that I ordered one more meal. He impatiently told me that it was on its way, but then immediately handed it to me. Then he sarcastically said, "BYE!" as if he were saying "Bye, Felicia!" (you middle-aged people get the reference). The whole experience was unreal. I will never go to this McDonald's again. After a long day of Jeeping, we were ravenous. Unfortunately we chose McDonald's. We ordered at a kiosk for the first time. Quite confusing as it would not let us proceed until we picked up a table number and entered the number on the screen. We finally saw some tent numbers next to the kiosk, grabbed one, and entered the number 4. Then we were able to complete our kiosk order. The kiosk told us our order would be brought to our table. We cleaned our own table and sat down to wait. A woman called number 272 repeatedly. Kept getting louder. Finally she practically screamed the number. As there were only 2 parties in the lobby, I thought I should get up and check. I told her I wasn't sure if that was my order. She turned her back on me and chatted with an employee about how dumb customers keep taking the tent numbers. In fact, she noticed that number 4 had recently gone missing. I sorted through the bag of food and determined that it was our order. Sat down to eat after cleaning some spots we had missed on the table. I've never been more ignored or treated as a number - anywhere. When we got up to leave we noticed the rude employee with her mask off drinking something as she was handling food behind the counter. Yuck. I'd like to tell you her name but could not see a name tag. She glared at us as we left. Very harsh, rude woman with short grey hair. It goes without saying that we will never return to this McDonald's. We also let our large group of Jeepers know not to give them their business. The restaurant looked new and remodeled but unfortunately the service was poor. No one was around to clean any of the tables and the refreshment area had no napkins or ketchup etc. our order took much too long before they brought it out, definitely not "fast food". One of the worst McDonald's I've ever been to around the world. Every table was dirty, and we walked around the whole restaurant looking for a semi clean one but even I we wanted to clean the table ourselves, there were no napkins! I am a McNugget enthusiast and was really excited to eat some at this epic Golden Arches in Moab Utah home of Arches National Park. I ordered my nuggets with dipping sauce (as ANY McNugget connoisseur should). The line was quick and got my meal in a timely manner. When I got home and opened up the bag in utter disbelief. They forgot the dipping sauce. This is absolutely unacceptable. I gave them two stars because my Coca Cola hit the spot, quenching my sauce thirst after eating my nuggets dry without the dipping sauce. read more

This place is a joke. The line is very long. Not enough employees to help everyone. The inside is closed. They don't have salads at all.
