Absolutely the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. We did a mobile order and waited in the spot for over 10 minutes. Finally I had to walk up to the drive-through window and tell them that my order has not been brought out to our car yet. They finally brought it out all cold and old. They did not put ketchup in the bag. I went back inside to ask for ketchup and they said they are out. WTF out of ketchup..... really??? I asked if they put ketchup on the kids cheeseburgers and they said yes, it is a different ketchup. WTF! Different ketchup. "Can I get a side of the different ketchup!" Absolutely the worst McDonalds experience ever!!! Do yourself a favor and skip this exit off the 5 freeway and go to a different McDonalds. You will thank me later! read more

Just read the rest of the comments. They are accurate. We had wrong order and no bbq sauce for McNuggets. If they are out of something, they don't tell you. You're four hours into an eight hour drive. You're cranky. You're tired. But you don't want to get home after midnight, so you do fast food instead of stopping to wolf down a bite. McDonalds, simply because you had Taco Bell on the way south, 48 hours prior. You wait at the menu. Long enough that it occurs to you that it would have been faster to park and go in. You order. You pull up behind one other car that's at the window. You wait another five (literally) minutes. Then you hear the cashier tell the driver of the other vehicle, "The fries were looking really bad, so we put in new ones. Freaken in the middle of nowhere, so you're probably only stopping here if you're driving down the 5 on your way down to SoCal. Service is slow here as it took us almost 15 minutes to get our food, when usually food comes out within a minute or two at any other McDonald's. You would think that that the time spent preparing and cooking our food meant hot, steamy McDonald's... but nope. Room temperature, wuttttt! We ordered 2 large fries the lady gave the fries but its not full when i talk to her she said we tap it to go down i said I didn't. The memes are true. The employees straight up lied about their ice cream machine being broken when it worked just fine. We went through the drive though and asked for a milkshake. They said the machine is broken. No big deal. When we pulled up to pay, we saw them hand someone inside a milkshake. In case we heard wrong, we asked again. Drive though cashier again said the machine is broken. We gave him a puzzled look and he went as far as to say "no milkshakes, no ice cream, no McFlurrys. The machine is broken and it's liquid." Someone in the car ran in, ordered a milkshake at the counter, and was immediately handed a milkshake. My mom asked if the happy meal came with a juice. the girl tried to give her attitude said the slushee was the HM drink, when I wanted a medium size slushee not for the kids meal. I'm not sure why the reviews are horrible, maybe they had the wrong people working at this location but I am from the Bay Area, I made a quick stop to rest & grab some food before going to LA. I only get breakfast from mc Donald's so I got 2 sausage Mc.muffin with 2 hash browns. My boyfriend got his meal & it was great. Super hot & fresh! The only negative comment I have is one of the sausage Mc muffin didn't feel cooked all the way, it definitely was, but I'm so used to it being crispy from where I'm from! Yes, there are flies (never seen these kind before) in the area, but really what did you expect in the middle of farmville? Clean location that was connected to a gas station convenience store, stopped here at 7am in the middle of breakfast rush for Labor Day roadtrippers and truckers. Soon as the line got more than 5 ppl long the manager stepped it up and delegated 2 staffers to open up registers and the others to get going on the food. I got my 2 breakfast meals in under 5 minutes from walking in the door. Impressive. And come on people, it's McDonald's. stop complaining about the food bc it tastes the same everywhere. Ive never been to a McDs that wont accommodate special requests if asked nicely. And like I always say, request and wait for fresh fries - makes for a happier meal :) read more

Literally one of the WORST McDonald's i have EVER been in. yes McDonald's is already bad as it is but this was horrendous! Had been on the road for almost 3 hours and was hungry and needed a bathroom break. When i first walked in i was focused on finding and using the facilities. when i came back, i ordered at the kiosk because it is personally easier that way. I got what i needed with to go only which was fine cuz needed to get back on the road and get home you know? so i chose to pay at the cash register with cash. The kiosk said to grab my receipt and head to main cash register to pay only. i got no receipt and before i could read the screen and what it was saying it switched back to the original main menu. I don't blame mcdonald's because i'm sure they don't have much of any control over the kiosks. so i went to the cash register, said i ordered on the kiosk. the kind cashier pulled it up and clarified with me, i said yes, he said the total i paid and he went to print the receipt but the receipt printer wasn't working. not a major deal necessarily. not my biggest problem. so i got my cup, went and got my drink not even fazed that i didn't know my order number. but the cashier came over to me a bit and was kind and told me my number. i made my drink and sat at the tables. the food was decently quick but also slow at the same time. i'm not sure if that makes sense to be honest. but basically what i'm saying is it could have been slower but i'm sure they could have also been faster. i look over towards outside to wait for my food though and that's when i noticed the garbage can by the door OVERFLOWING with garbage. What had brought my attention to it was it was so full that a man had simply walked past and the garbage fell out of the van to the ground. there was garbage everywhere on the floor. i was SOOOO disappointed in this visit and i do not plan to visit this location again on future. read more

This dump, should be closed down. Stopped for drive thru at 5:19 am 12/09/2022 order #5 on my way home from visiting family. Ordered Sausage McMuffin, Hash browns, Large Coke. The hash browns were clearly days old, smelled like mold, bit into it and was cold inside. The English Muffin was white and soft (CLEARLY NOT TOASTED) NASTY, NASTY, NASTY! As it was a drive through order, I was on the road, and couldn't do anything about it! SHAME ON YOU FOR NOT COVERING QUALITY CONTROL AND SCREWING YOUR DRIVE THRU CUSTOMERS OVER! What do you expect? It is just your typical McDonalds located at one of the pit stop while trying to find a bathroom and to fill up the car with good ol' gas. With Mobil gas station in front, I am surprised the food did not taste like gasoline. What I did not like was the cashier screwing up the amount of changes I was expecting back. THE WORST SERVICE! The girl taking our order got it wrong, repeatedly, no matter how many times we corrected her. We start all over, she finally gets it right. We get our order and it's WRONG (egg & sausage McMuffin with NO EGGS!!) and the hash browns are missing. The manager happily gave us the hash browns but ARGUED about the Egg McMuffins. He wanted to charge us for EXTRA eggs even though the McMuffins didn't have any eggs!! He looked at the receipt which showed our correct order but still wanted to charge for extra eggs. Went through the drive thru today and when I arrived at pick up window noticed NOT one employee inside was wearing a mask or gloves! It is required at this time that food establishments, in order to be operational, wear the proper PPE to protect customers and employees from the virus. Stopped in for a quick break while on the road. It's nice and clean but there' not much else to say. The food and service was consistent with the majority of the McDonald's out there and you can rest your heals while you grab a bite before heading out on the highway again. Who cleans their coffee machines at 8 AM??? During one of the most high demand times for coffee??? Oh, apparently this McDonald's does. Food was okay, but not having your coffee machine up and running for morning travelers is unacceptable. Clean that s**t in the evening during your slow hours. This is a combination McDonald's and Gas Station which was a first for me. The service was prompt, but the crowd left much too be desired. I ordered the Spicy McChicken which was surprisingly spicy for my taste. The thing I like most about this place was the $1 any size drink with the soda station for refills. Also, the bathrooms located in the gas station portion was surprisingly clean for a freeway rest stop. If you want a decent McDonald location with a decent bathroom while road tripping on the 5 freeway, then you'd fine this place acceptable. read more

If you find yourself in Lost Hills at breakfast time and you've decided not to eat at either Denny's or Jack in the Box, you are starting to run out of options... and it's starting to look like time to break that hiatus you've taken from the golden arches. McDonalds, as it turns out, still offers a pretty okay and predictable experience. While they mostly still sell junk food, I give them credit for putting real fresh fruit in that "fruit and yogurt parfait" and for offering apples (although they do come with caramel dipping sauce) in place of happy meal fries. The good news is that my kids, having not often been to McD's, didn't like their breakfast sandwiches. The bad news is that I ate theirs. Hey, I never said I didn't like McDonald's food, only that I had been on a hiatus. I have to round down though, since this McD's is connected to a gas station and had a disgusting bathroom (and since cleanliness is ostensibly one of their hallmarks). read more

We went to this McDonald's when heading back onto the road, it's just right off of the 5 freeway. It was real early in the morning and there was only one car in front of us. We ordered our food it took like 3 minutes for them to give a customer in front of us a coffee, so then we drive up closer to the window, she gives us an orange juice and coffee. Then the woman says "Can you park in the front of the building please?" So we do so and I look back it seems that every car that was behind us received their meal and drove out. Their bags were pretty big most likely containing a lot of breakfast meals. We only ordered four Sausage Mcmuffins that was it and a lot of the people I looked at behind us were receiving more then one bag. So it took us about 15 minutes for the lady to come out with our four mcmuffins and she said "I'm sorry for the long wait here you go" This has to be the worst McDonald's I've been to when heading North of California, it felt like turtles were making these McMuffins and took their time getting it to us. Avoid this McDonald's or better yet just walk inside and get your meal, drive-thru sucks! read more

The fries were great, not super fresh (ididn't burn my fingertips off eating them) but you can tell they weren't sitting there a while either. I tried the 'spicy' McChicken; EH!! I headed over to Mickey D's for the traditional road Egg McMuffin. As a true conisseur of these fantastic creations I feel I have the qualifications for a knowledgeable critique. My sandwich came out of the paper flat and steamy with a quarter of the round egg patty hanging out of the muffin. So first and foremost, points off for having to reassemble. Ham, egg and cheese were normal, but the muffin ruined everything!! It tasted as if both halves had been just recently been reanimated from being previously frozen and in a forgotten plastic bag lost in the walk-in. Chewy consistency with hard ends like it went about 9 seconds too long in the microwave. I did choke most of it down, but I was happy that this time, feeling unsure about this new location, I had ordered a Sausage Biscuit backup! read more
