I had to give a Yelp review for this McDonalds. I was driving back from Northern CA and stopped for breakfast. I ordered a Sausage McMuffin as a meal. The young woman at the register must not of heard me say "as a meal". When my brother retrieved the meal when our number was called, there was no hash browns. I told him, don't worry about it...wasn't charged for it. As we began to eat, the young girl brought over a steaming hot hash brown and apologized, I offered to pay. She said, on the house for the mistake on her part. I am touch for her thoughtfulness! She didn't have to go out of her way to do that. well it's McDonalds so you'd expect some standard level of quality. So it was a little busy, but i'd say typical for McDs. But they forgot a BUNCH of stuff for our order and we had to go back to the counter 4 times to ask for stuff like, cups, fries, toys for the happy meals, sauce for nuggets and ketchup. Worst part is, I think it was the manager packing all the stuff. He was terrible at it. There were other people complaining as well. Good thing we didn't go through the drive through. OH and then when we finally got our stuff and on our way, I started eating my fish fillet and it was cold. I was totally bummed. read more

The last stop to get food and gas before you make the trek up the mountains to LA. This McD was dirty as in no one to wipe down the tables. Service is slow just like everyone says. My Filet o fish tastes like it was languishing in the heater for awhile before it's number was called. The edges were dry and chewy. I came here a couple times for lunch (on my way to L.A. and on the way back). In terms of food, it's the basic McD's food but the restroom is the worst compared to all of the locations I've been to. There's only 2 stalls in the women's restroom and the line takes forever. It also doesn't help when the stalls are extremely dirty and no one ever empties the trash cans. read more

What the hell, busted drive thru?? We sat at the monitor for five minutes with no response - the screen was still on and the menu was lit up. Soo we rolled up to the first window and looked in; no one there, not even in the halls behind! Rolled up to the second window and saw ONE staff member handling one customer. She semi-hustled over to tell us the drive-thru headset was busted...umm, do they only have one? And umm, could they have at least taped up a piece of paper? Anyway, we had to go in to order. The hubby had the chicken bacon clubhouse and I had the filet o' fish and fries. Thankfully the food tasted fresh and was made to order (I don't get cheese on my fish sammy). The bun on my sandwich was super fluffy. Plus everything came out in like five minutes. As other reviewers though the fries could be cooked a bit longer, but it didn't bother me so much as I love eating the flaccid, wimpy fries. My first word, or so I have been told, was "fie fie" for french fries. Thanks. Thanks a lot McDonald's. I post my paleo foods on my FB/IG and eat my McD's grubbins on the sly. read more

Have never had a worse experience at a McDonalds. The service was horrible, we waited almost 25 mins in the drive thru for our 2 combo meals. When asked what was the hold up, the cashier simply shrugged. Even when they are super busy, I've never waited that long and to get that kind of response was what made it worse. read more

Came here on the way down to LA. It was 9AM. There was a giant cockroach in the corner where the trashcan is located and two workers were just laughing and trying to swipe it back into the trashcan area. Honestly that was pretty gross, and the fact that they have cockroaches out and not in the kitchen just made me feel all icky. It was absolutely disappointing and my chicken sandwiches came out looking like the buns were burnt and the chicken was over cooked. Stopped in for breakfast on a long road trip. We had a motorhome full of people and we placed a huge order of food. We preserved and waited a very long time. They called our number and handed us several bags of food. We had waited so long we were in a hurry to go. When we get back on the highway we realized almost half the order was missing. I know that it is insanity to expect excellence at a fast food spot. But I do expect competence. I stopped at this location on my drive to San Diego for some coffee. There was a big banner advertising some fancy carmel coffee drink, like a frappucino. When I ordered it I was told the machine was broken. So I ordered an iced mocha instead. That was the most rank coffee I've ever had. It looked more like some layered parfait, only not as tasty. Awful. read more

A usual, some people only use yelp to complain. I didn't have the same bad experiences that many others had during their visit to this location. We took a pit stop into Lost Hills for gas/food/restroom breaks and we came here for lunch.We went through the drive through because we had a dog in the car. The time of our visit was around 2 pm and we were surprised to see no one in line. We pulled up to the order speaker and was greeted by a kind voice. At the moment we were still undecided on what we wanted and asked for more time and the cashier was very respectful. We placed our order and our meal was ready fairly quickly. Overall I had a good experience during my visit. Everyone I had an interaction was friendly and my order was correct. What more could you ask for? read more

Never thought I would put a review for McDonald's. But this place was lazy. Two cheeseburgers with NO MEAT what the hell. How do you forget to put the meat on the damn bun, TWICE????...then we asked for two quarter pounders plain and they slapped the plain stickers on our burgers but added all the condiments.... I wish I could give lower than one star. Pulled into the drive through at 10:20. Sat at the drive through order box, repeatedly trying to get their attention saying "hello?", And "excuse me?" With no response. Assuming they were busy, we patiently waited. At 10:31, someone finally spoke to us and said, "we're closed." They closed at 10:30 and refused to serve us, despite the fact we'd been waiting a good 10 minutes before they were supposed to close. Very rude. Very inconsiderate. Horrible. Every time the guy up front finished taking someone's order he would stop and talk to his co-workers. He had glasses, a blue shirt, and a hat. Slow service but when you're on the road and you need somewhere to eat on the road, it'll have to do. Waited 5 minutes for someone to help me. I asked for a couple more ranch dressings and the lady gave me one. ONE. You have a lot of work to do. This is unacceptable. They do not accept coupons from the McDonalds app. Only McDonalds that I know of so far that does this. One of the registers only accepts a subset of the menu so essentially there's only one working register. read more

WARNING ! Super busy because it's a pit stop for travelers. Only two toilets for women and the door was broken to one of them so whoever was next had to hold it closed. So I was on my way to LA we had to pump some gas right, I come across all these fast food places and out off all the places I choose McDonald's (worst choose ever!) Absolutely DON'T stop here for a quick meal or drive through. Went by last night on my way to So CAL from Sacramento. If I had not gone through the drive through, I would have returned the food and asked for my money back. One star is too high. Fried had a re-tread shoe leather quality; they had obviously been sitting somewhere for a long time. Big Mac was thrown together and I am not sure (since it was dark in the car) if I even got a second patty. The cashier was rude and when we got up to the window took the money charged the card and then informed us that they were out of what I had asked for and told me I was getting their chosen substitute instead. Almost the worst McDonalds ever! This place had it all Dirty windows, floors so dirty they were sticky, counter dirty and sticky. We avoided the food but thought the drinks would be OK. Even that was a mistake. The tea containers were empty and the Diet Coke was missing flavor (how did they mess that up?). The bath rooms were a mess and since the hand driers are substandard, I doubt the employees are washing their hands. The restaurant also had dozens of flies inside. The Corporation needs to fix this place! I should have checked Yelp first. read more
