Had limited time for before a movie yesterday, so figured we could grab McDs. Worst service EVER, my daughter and I were literally cracking up it was so bad. Slow, rude, was told I could only get soda with a value meal, they were "out" of water(really?), food was bad (even for McDs), but really, the woman at the window wouldn't even LOOK at us let alone acknowledge when I said thank you. And I'm the one giving my money away for this crap! We are local and will NOT be going back here again. Stick with the Wendy's next door- always pleasant service there and decent food, for fast food. Do not go through the drive through when it is busy. People circle around and cut through the outer drive through line and it is painfully slow. read more

Would give them no stars have gone here several times before closing and they told me that they are closed offer no explanation have the lights on ...corporate should really know how this is run lived on the Outer Banks for 15 years and this is been the story with this restaurant we understand short staffing issues but to sit there with the lights on and close 20 to 30 minutes before closing times posted all the time is unacceptable change your closing times or honor the times posted at the windows. but to sit there and say your clothes when it's an hour 30 minutes or whatever before closing is on acceptable go work somewhere where you guys can handle it clearly serving food is not your business read more

This McDonald's was not very good to say the least. They were not extremely busy, only about three other groups. My Grandmother, grandfather, and I ordered sour food and waited. After a while we sill waited, and waited, and waited, and waited some more. Finally we realized they didn't even give us our receipt! Finally we got our food solely because I could recognize the order. The reason I give two stars is because there was nothing wrong with the food itself. read more

as me and my boyfriend doordash i have to say this is our favorite place to get orders. they are always amazing and kind. the crew is funny and they all are outstanding. even when it is busy they try to help everyone. as a local this is my go to spot. i love the management here and everyone is fun. i love coming here and always feel welcomed. read more

Good clean and fast McDonalds. We stopped in here to get a few Chicken Ranch Wraps at lunch time and even though it was high peak time in a high peak vacation area it was not packed. We chose to go in because there was a fair amount of cars in the drive through. I wouldn't have given this McDonald's any stars if it didn't make me in order to leave this review. It was filthy, the customer service was terrible, and they are SO slow. I ordered on the app for a drive thru pick up and the guy at the ordering station said, "I don't know anything about that. You need to like come in and sit down and take a number or something." I told him my order number, that it was paid for and he still had no solution for me. I explained to him I had a baby in the car, which is why I used the convenience of the app, and he still had no idea what he was doing. Downloaded Yelp just to leave this review. My fiancé and I left Jennette's Pier right before midnight and decided to grab something quick on the way back. We're not local so we looked up what was open after midnight and saw this location listed as 24 hour drive thru. When we got to the drive through, both menus were turned off and blank. Waited for a few minutes and someone asked if we wanted to order. When we asked why the menus were off, we were told "they turn off at midnight for closing." Difficult ordering without a menu but whatever. My fiancé had to repeat our (relatively short) order several times- every time we were asked to repeat it we could hear laughing in the background. Not sure what the employees were doing that was so funny, but maybe focusing on their job would've been more helpful. As we pulled around, we could clearly see "24 hour drive thru" marked on the window so i don't know what closing the menu is turning off for. Some of the order was wrong as well- not surprisingly. Employees were short, rude, and obviously too distracted by each other to do basic work tasks. I don't expect much from fast food places at midnight but this place is a joke. The food was your average McDonalds food. We went around 10 on a Saturday and it was packed. It was kind of loud but with that many people it wasn't surprising. The drive through was packed as well. With the size of the line of the drive through and the wait to even order, I feel like you might as well go in and eat. read more

Ate here on vacation. I would say I could eat McDonalds every day, just not this location. We went through the drive through. The food was cold when given to us and the order was not even close to being right. The receipt even had it right, but the order was wrong. The staff was distracted by talking to each other about their personal lives and not listening to the customers. Not going back to this location again. read more

No one speaks English here. Food was missing from our order and took over 20 minutes for them to correct it. Employees were wearing jogging pants. The place was a mess, french fries and pickles all over the floor. I know it's a McDonald's, but I mean you could read the order and make it correctly at least read more

Don't go to McD's very often, but this one had been pretty good the past couple of times we went. Today, however, will be my last time and it's not because of the food. Today we were told we had to order from the kiosks inside as opposed to placing an order at the counter. I'm guessing this is supposed to speed things up and streamline the process. It doesn't. You still have to go to the counter to get your cups and if you're paying by cash. I personally hate kiosks though I realize some folks don't mind them. What really ticks me off is that they're not a choice. I don't work there and feel like if management can't take the time to have a person take my order (other than drive-thru) then I won't take the time to patronize their establishment. Who are we kidding? This is just meant to save them money at the expense of customer service and I'm sure more than a few peoples' jobs. Next they'll want you to cook it, too. Just more corporate greed. I was not the only person disgusted by the new "rules" today. Would hate to see what it'll look like in high tourist season. Sad. read more

They are slow, they forget your straw and sauces every single time and don't even try to modify your order in any way or god only knows what you'll get. I ordered a sandwich without tomatoes and not only was there tomatoes on it, for some reason they SMOTHERED it in mayo?!? I can only hope management looks at these reviews. I went to this location when I got off work last night at 11:30 there were about 5 cars ahead of me in the drive thru. Only two cars placed their orders and then we just sat with nothing. I watched at least six cars drive off. I waited because I was hungry. I then noticed a car had pulled up to the entry door and every employee was out side at the car. so I drove off as well making sure to look in the window as I passed and yes not a single employee on the front line. Mcdonalds you better get it together in this location I for one won't be coming back. read more
