It's Mc Donalds, what else is there to say. Not bad as far as Mc Donalds go. We had to eat before making it through LA (before rush hour). We had the dog with us so we couldn't leave her in the car (99 outside) this was simply a place the kids wanted and we needed food. There are a ton of fast food places in this neighborhood but if you want to avoid the crowd fo up the hill and stop at Gorham, less crowded and easier to park. Congratulations McDonald's of Gorman, you are officially my first 1 star rating on Yelp! We drive past this McDonald's on our way to the Sierra Mountains and back home all the time. Never thought we would actually be going in. We were traveling with toddlers this time and needed to pull over ASAP. BAD CHOICE! This McDonald's was poorly stocked.... they were out of: Sweet Tea, Bottled Waters, RANCH DRESSING, BBQ Sauce and Straws. The drink station was not kept clean and neither were the bathrooms. Mirrors looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a REALLY long time. Also, we were over charged 1 drink. We ordered a meal, nuggets, small drink, mcdouble and then got charged extra for a medium drink. Lame! We would have gone back to get a refund, but they were slammed with a huge line. Whatever... it wasn't worth the $2 to stand in that line. ALSO, there were flies everywhere! Susan H., I completely agree with you. Just off the Grapevine is a little piece of parking lot that houses this particular McD's.... We walked in, the floor was sticky...yeah...classy huh? Half the staff were sitting in booths talking to their friends, it was more like a social club....anyway...we ordered, and waited, food arrived, it was cold.... My wife walked back to the counter and asked for a hot meal...the guy at the counter mumbled...OK, and set to work assembling the replacement order....there were flies EVERYWHERE in the place, it was gross...so she asked gor her money back & we left....still sticking to the floor at every step. Stopped here for a quick potty break with my kids while on our way to Six Flags. I must say this is one of the dirtiest McDonald's I've seen. I was so disgusted by the restrooms and dirty interior. At least 4 stalls did not have toilet paper, the feminine napkin bins we're overflowing and it smelled so bad. I informed the lady in the front of the restroom situation and she seemed rather annoyed. As I looked around I couldn't help but notice the dirty tables, overflowing trash cans, and the many flies buzzing around the drinking fountain area. There was also a wet towel by the drinking fountain area that smelled and had ketchup all over. Who knows how long that had been there for. I was so grossed out. I left as fast as I could. read more

If McDonald's Corp had a location of training workers with "Special Needs" this has to be it. Where do I start.....Ok so I pass this joint everyday heading into work. Sometimes I'm running late so I stop for a quick breakfast. I've made this mistake about 4 times over the last 6 months. Every time I stop here it takes well over 15 - 20 minutes to get my food. It does not matter if your in the drive-thru or walk in. Then you have to HOPE your food is correct. My wife and & I have completely given up on this location. I'll gladly go out of my way to hit a different Mc D's from now on. Your only getting stars because of the Egg Mc Muffin & Iced Vanilla Coffee. read more

Flies! About 25-30 flies around the booths with sunshine. Looks like the norm as the employee wiped the tables and cleaned the floors while the flies fluttered from table to booth to wall and back. Owner should get one of those fans in the double spores entry to lessen the flies. Older counter woman was gruff. Another customer also took offense to her attitude. There are literally flies buzzing around the cashier. Frappe is broken and the didn't tell us until after we ordered and paid. Very Slow too, they only had one register open despite a line of customers. And to too it off, our egg mcmuffins were like warm. McD is a good place to stop when you're on the road to get to LA. If you're picky like me - healthnut a bit self conscious then McD is the last place you would want to eat but what are the other choices. I was surprised that McD has done a good job at satisfying customers that want salad. I got the southwestern chicken salad but wait....Do Not Open that salad dressing packet!! It's loaded with sodium and high fructose corn syrup. Just eat the salad as it is; there is plenty of flavor in the "grilled" (*ahem microwaved) chicken and the salad itself is lightly seasoned. If you drive to L.A. from NorCal you eventually will end up at this McDonald's since there is really nothing on the road before you get here. This leads to the fact that it's super crowded and the folks working here are having a hard time keeping up with the crowd that walks in and uses the drive thru. The place itself is small, very packed and rather dirty. They only have 1 restroom and therefore there's always a line. If you are starving and this is your last resort, ok, eat here. If you can wait another 20 minutes, just keep driving for better food to come up. read more

If I could give 0 starts or negative stars I would. Ordered a Lg Caramel "ICED" coffee. Not only was it not iced it was barely cold. I had to drink a small amount to be able to add ice myself from the ice dispenser at the fountain drink station. Which by The way was out of ice. It is located right off Interstate 5. Will sometimes stop for a snack when heading down to the L.A. area. Never have had any problems here. The restrooms are kept pretty clean. I believe that the food is priced the same as other McDonald's locations. No highway robbery prices so that is good. There is one thing that I have noticed here, and not noticed at any other branch. During parts of the year, their rose bushes bloom beautifully. They have rose bushes situated around the parking lot. Other than that, just a normal McDonald's. read more

Food was good, service was terrible. Food wait time is very long. The person at the register kept telling people that they were out of sweet n sour sauce. By the time our food was ready that same guy told us they didn't have sweet n sour, BBQ or ketchup. After insisting that they couldn't possibly have run out, he came back with two boxes of sweet n sour and BBQ. Apparently he was just lying to customers. We ordered two large iced teas same guy told us they were out of large cups but that he that he could give us mediums for the same price. Very handy for the less intrepid Hungry Valley campers who aren't into camp food. Also good for a drive-through run if you've already made a pit stop at the gas station. Inside service has good and bad times. It must be a challenge to staff a larger operation in the middle of nowhere. Sometimes the bathroom at the gas station is way nicer. Whoa, how often does that happen? To be fair, being off the interstate, these restrooms get a lot of use and abuse, but beware. If you're towing or driving a larger vehicle like a motorhome, STAY OUT of the parking lot. There's plenty of parking along the wide shoulders of the nearby roads. read more

Worst McDonalds ever! Went through drive through about 30 min ago and there wasn't one thing that went right. Ordering seemed to go Okay and there were a few cars ahead of us to get to the window (which took forever!) She opens the window and asks if we are the "hot chocolate order", which we were. She hands us the small hot chocolate, a small FF SF vanilla latte ( which was supposed to be medium. I gave the latte back to her saying it was supposed to be medium and I watched the chick just pour my "latte" in a larger cup and added some stuff to it. She then handed us our bag with food and we realized the bag was not the right order. She switched our bag out for the correct bag and hands me my latte. We drive away and we finish the breakfast and start drinking our hot chocolate and mocha. Well, the SMALL hot chocolate isn't hot chocolate (its my latte!) and the now Medium latte is now a mixture of hot chocolate and vanilla latte. Get your Sh*t together people. read more

We have been driving since Huntington Beach and we NEEDED a pit stop. All the restaurants around we're closed, so we decided to grab a quick bite from this McDonalds. When we went in, we were pretty hesitant. Everything seemed dirty. The tables, chairs, counters and floor was pretty gnarly. One of the staff member was pretty rude and didn't seem like she wanted to be at work. Luckily our food came out fast so we could get out as soon as possible.
