We've been sitting in line for a half hour and we have not even paid yet. I wonder if our food will be warm or cold by the time we get it.

Very disappointing. First off went to the ladies restroom & the door won't lock someo it's so small I was able to hold it closed. Then to flush, no handle, no button nothing but a little hole on the side I thought was a button to flush but I think it was once a handle & when I pressed it just got my finger wet so I guessed it was just tank water (I hope). So I gave my hands an extra scrub down!!!! Mentioned it to someone, just got an "ok". Nothing more or less. Also every McDonald's we ever go to standard coffee no matter what size is a buck. $1.00. Nothing fancy but good. They charged $2.69 & made it wrong. Requested 9 sugars & 5 creamers, got 5 sugars & 9 creamers & we didn't know until we left. But I guess since this is a rural & heavily traveled spot they figure they can charge more. Bummer. So we will plan our trips over the grapevine a little more careful & get our coffee & bathroom breaks before & after & taste our coffee before we drive off. But we usually have a good experience when getting coffee at McDonalds. read more

Do not eat here. My wife and I got so sick after eating breakfast at this McDonald's. A dirty restaurant that is careless with patrons health. We were on our first day of a vacation trip to the sequoia park and we arrived sick throwing up with food poisoning. Two to three days to recover. read more

Well as we see this place has only 2 stars. Its horrible . Road trip and I was starving .Whatever you do go up the road a piece. Horrible service.Lady stared at me no greeting but I started ordering .Waited and waited. She set bag and drink on counter ,wrong drink and sundae.I tell her she look annoyed and pulls my drink up from lower counter ,adds syrup to my sundae .slams it up and stares .I get it where you gonna find employees here but geez.I asked why so mean here? She says " I don't give you no attitude" ! This nice man told me its not worth it I said you're right ! Got in car ate fries ,poured a ton of salt on them and worst fish sandwich ever. Completely shocked with the unbelievable amounts of napkins and trash pouring out the top of the trash can. The restrooms were even worse. Piles of toilet paper everywhere around the toilet and out the trash can. Very unsanitary. read more

Like everyone else, I stopped here on my drive back to LA. I know it's McDonalds, and not expecting 5 stars. Food was just bad, like cook just threw buns on in a hurry and threw condiments at it. read more

I would rather give -5 stars but not allowed!! This place was over packed and had no soft drinks available!!! Nothing only water and milk. If you are in a busy location HOW CAN YOU NOT HAVE FREAKING SODA!!!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!! Customer service horrible!! read more

Whoever owns this location needs to be removed. Other reviews are true, if you mistakenly decide to stop here you will be forced to wait 30 minutes for your order. The staff is comparable to a flock of chickens running into each other with their heads removed, and that's only due to being understaffed. I feel bad for them and wish the owner would sell if they can't run this store properly. Utterly embarrassing. read more

Never had a McDonald's take over 25 minutes to prepare my food. Numbers that were above mine were getting called first and friend got his food in a couple minutes. Don't understand why it was taking so long, the place wasn't busy when I ordered but got super busy after I did and then they pretty much just forgot my order or something. Worst McDonald's I've ever been to, super super slow service. Avoid if you can read more

If you could drive a little farther to eat at a better spot, I'd highly recommend it. The lines are long here, probably due to the lack of food options around. We decided to stop for gas at the nearby Shell station and grab a quick bite to eat at around 10:15am. After standing in line for about 15 mins, I placed a modest order for the 5 members of our family; and over the next 30 minutes, we watched one by one as other orders were filled for guests who came in after us. Turns out they completely forgot about our order. As they scrambled to put everything together for us, they realized they ran out of yogurt parfait -- instead they gave us a tube of gogurt and sliced apples (so we can make it ourselves, I guess? ). In their effort to make good, they also got a couple of our orders wrong. I'll give them points for giving us free 10-pc nuggets though, and for trying to make us happy. There are also some neat interactive tables that light up, which the kids liked. read more

This is a newly renovated location. Completely empty Monday through Thursday, unless it's a long holiday. Expect severe delays on all weekends and any holiday. The staff is local and very friendly, none of them are worried about their job security, it's the opposite, there are more available jobs than employees here in the Grapevine. All of the in town attitude goes ignored. The restrooms and entire restaurant is very clean, and runs efficiently. On days when there is severe traffic on the 5 either direction the restaurant can be found understaffed. It is impossible to guess when a accident or weather will close the grapevine. Other than these situations, I can't see why or what type of client would think the staff is intentionally running out of fresh food to serve, or breaking their own equipment. Not a 5 star restaurant, but definitely a 5 star fast food joint. read more

Very dirty. Bathrooms are extremely filthy. Kiosk did not work very well. So sad to see a McDonald's in this condition.

Not that often I rate a chain restaurant. Oh Well here goes. As those who travel this route, the ridge route or I5 or Grapevine or whatever name you choose, it is a long road thru Gorman a long way between stop for food or gas or restrooms. This stop in Gorman was oh so clean and inviting. The restroom was reasonably clean. the cashier was very sweet, kind and helpful. They had Mcrib Sandwiches which made my travelling companion very happy. They were just all around good at what a McDonald's does. read more

Gorman Mcdonalds Drive-thru cashier was out of line and rude (1/28/2023 approx 2pm Saturday) and menacing. Accused me of talking to him wrong. He asked if I had any ones to make even change, I said what I had. He started to keep on, and I again stated what I had that I did not have any ones. He then preceded to argue that I shouldnt talk to him that way, he gave me a menacing look that was very unnecessary. Please train your employees better. Dont bother customers with asking for a specified amount to make your drawer change easier. Train your employees better. Mcdonalds food is not cheap! Customer service should be priority. I will not go if you continue with these kinds of employees. your restaurant does have a lot of local customers as well! read more

I only give them four stars because of location. This is a great location because it is in the middle of the grapevine. The restaurant is very clean, well taken care off, excellent customer service, my order was done quick and my order was done right. read more

I have to leave a great review for the customer service here at this location. As we were traveling up north we stopped to have a quick bite to eat. In our rush to leave my son left a semi-valuable item in the restaurant. By the time we realized it was missing we were too far gone to turn back around. We called the restaurant and spoke to Carolina who was very helpful and sweet and was able to have her manager Maria agree to mail us back our item to our home. Talk about going above and beyond!! Thank you so much ladies. We are so appreciative!! McDonald's, give them both a raise!! read more

Does the job for a pit stop in the middle of nowhere. It is clean and good service. Can't expect much more. Only negative might be the people in transit going through here. Like one lady kept asking me where are the straws. Like um ask the people that work here and leave me alone read more

The only reason to stop at McDonald's is to use the restroom because they're never very clean but never completely trashed. But when in the middle of a lunch rush on a holiday weekend a male employee is cleaning the women's restroom and the line has built to five people I might sneak in. After the guy spent 20 minutes cleaning the restroom i finally went in and he was upset and as I left Yelled at me to next time wait! Definitely not a good way to treat customers. read more

Out of coffee, out of pancakes and I'm sure more as every customer seemed to be disappointed in this location... they messed up 4/5 orders we ordered... one of the sausage mcmuffins had a hair, when they gave us a new one the middle was soggy, cold, and slightly frozen!!!! Yessss. The last we ordered from was older, very rude, and very impatient. I've been to a lot of McDonalds... this location definitely needs to step up. There was one gal with short hair and glasses who seemed to be helping everybody. Props to her for actually caring about her customers. read more

Look at this discussing piece of chicken from my mcgriddle. With all this COVID stuff going on you might want to make sure your food don't look like this when it leaves your store. Me no likey... I wouldn't usually write a review on a fast-food chain but I just had to. This McDonald's is located in Hungry Valley in Gorman, CA. I will make this short and sweet. The service here SUCKS!! Really. The people who work here are borderline (let me apologize in advance because I will offend some of you out there) RETARDED. They are soooooo slow. They had 1 cashier working the register and 2 people were kickin it on their break! Everyone else is shuffling stock items in the back. Management here really needs to do something. Every time we stop here, it takes a good 25-30 minutes for us to get our takeout order. We would go through the drive thru (seems a little faster) but we are towing a boat and that just won't cut it. Mr. Ronald McDonald, please ensure that your Gorman, CA franchise hires people who care about getting people in and out of their store. Waiting 25 minutes for 2 double cheeseburgers and a 10 piece chicken mcnugget is the whack! We are never stopping here again. read more

I don't usually take the time to review McDonalds unless it's EXTREMELY amazing or it's EXTREMELY awful. But this was a little of both, so it deserves some words. I stop in Gorman quite often on my drive from Norcal to Socal and vice versa. It's a nice place to stop in the middle of the mountain pass (aka the Grapevine) and I usually go to Carl's, but THIS time, decided to go to Mcdonalds. Fortunately, there was no line in the drive thru, yayyy. So we order. My brother gets a mini meal with a plain double cheeseburger, and myself, a plain mcdouble and fries. We get our food rather quickly and the lady was really really REALLY nice. Yay, good times. I notice they place a sticker on the bag that says something along the lines of : We checked your back twice for accuracy. Cool, they take the time to check that our food is right. Or so we thought... My brother went to get gas at a nearby 76. While my brother was chomping on my french fries, I reached in the bag looking for his and found that there weren't any. WTF. He ordered a mini meal, which equals a burger, a drink, and small FRIES. Since when does a McDonalds forget the fries when someone orders a meal? This really wouldn't have pissed me off if they hadn't put that "accuracy" sticker on there. Liars. So luckily, we were close enough to drive back and ask for the missing fries. And they were nice about it, which was cool. We left and continued our trek into socal. And then, while driving, I grabbed my Mcdouble and took a bite of it. Pickles. And mustard. And ketchup. And onions. BLEGH. They messed up my burger :( :( :( :( and we were already too far away to fix it. :( Moral of the story: This McDonalds has very friendly workers, but they do NOT know how to complete an order correctly. I understand messing up my plain burger, it happens to me quite often. But forgetting to put fries in??? And then putting a sticker saying they double checked the bag for accuracy even though they obviously didn't since there were two things wrong with the order? Sorry! You will no longer get my service, I'm sticking to Carl's when I drive into Gorman in the future. read more

The bathrooms were not up to standards of cleanliness standards. My husband ordered the mcrib and a coffee and I got two cheeseburgers.
