This place really needs more attention to cleanliness. The dining area was pretty messy, with trash and food debris all over the floor, the trash area was overflowing, and there were wet spots with caution signs around. The bathrooms were even worse. They were filthy, the trash hadn't been emptied, there was water on the floor around the stalls, and one of the toilets wouldn't even flush. I understand it was Labor Day and they may have been really busy or short-staffed, so I don't want to be too harsh on the employees. But this was beyond the normal mess you'd expect during a rush. Omg! Terrible. The food tasted like nothing. Just grease! The staff seemed like they had no idea what is going on. The order was wrong twice. We were ordering for a family of 4. Two of the chicken sandwiches were wrong, and the burger did not have bacon on it. We went back and then had to leave (no one is just hangin gout in Gormon, they are generally on their way somewhere). I do not expect McDonald's to be a paragon of taste but I expect it to be savory and taste good. The whole point of fast food is fast, tastes good, cheap, and keeps you coming back. Today was a good experience! Food was ordered using kiosk and it was ready pretty speedy. I'd say about 5-7 minutes. There were other mobile apps and others ordering using the kiosk. The kiosk was speedy and not glitchy. Which is so rare!! The young lady at the counter was sweet and helpful when we needed more napkins and ketchup. Other staff were being patient with an upset customer who was having issues with her app. The bathrooms were open this time. Not exceptionally clean, but open and clean enough to function works. I stopped by this McDonald's on my way back from Fremont. Since this store is right off the freeway, it was convenient for me to grab some food and change our baby daughter diaper. I used the app when we sat down inside to place my order and selected for my order to be taken to us at our table. After the order was placed, it said this location was pick up only. The bathroom at this Mcdonald does not have changing station for babies. I went to ask one of the worker if I pick up the food myself or will they bring it to me and she told me that she'll bring it. Our food took some time to come but when it did, it was delicious. I got the 10 piece chicken nuggets, large fries, large cola and 2 hot n spicy McChicken. They place the large fries in a bag and not the usual container here. The large cola, they filled up for me but they still have the self serving station here as well. The slowest drive through service in my entire life. Cashier takes 5min breaks and leaves each car in silence before taking an order.

Very disappointed with my experience at this McDonald's. First, I waited a long time for my food. When I finally saw that my order was ready, I let the employee know that it was mine and asked her for a cup. Instead of simply helping me, she told me, "Wait a minute, he has to do it," referring to Abraham, who was working as the runner. The problem was that she had already sent him outside to take a mobile order, so I was left waiting even longer for something as simple as a cup. I also really did not like the way I saw Abraham being treated. He appeared to be working hard and running around trying to take care of orders, and the way he was spoken to and treated in front of customers was uncomfortable and unnecessary. My issue was not with him at all--it was with the service and how the situation was handled. After waiting all that time, my daughter's Happy Meal fries were cold, which made the experience even more disappointing. When customers are already waiting that long, the least we should receive is fresh, hot food and decent customer service. Management really needs to work on both customer service and how employees are treated in front of customers. I definitely expected better. read more

The food was decent. It's similar to every other McDonald's. I expected the prices to be overinflated but they were not. They had the cool self service kiosk and interactive LED tables. Gorman is a good place to stop if you are coming from LA and going to the Bay Area. Just over the grapevine and out of the traffic zone. Pretty dependable. What can you expect from McDonalds anyway.
