    Baked Potato Pizza
    Rodney B.

I was stuck out on the road yesterday evening and the owner of Caveman Pizza delivered two pizzas to our location. He delivered a pepperoni pizza, along with their delicious Baked Potato pizza. The Baked Potato pizza probably has to be one of the better pizzas I have ever had. I believe I have a spot on pizza recipe and this one matches that almost to a tee. It was absolutely divine, when it comes to a specialty pizza. I will definitely be making a trip up to Frazier Park, just to try out this pizza place, in person. With a little red chili flake, to go along with the sour cream, is a perfect combo. You just have to give it a try. There are a lot of specialty pizza places near Bakersfield and I would put Caveman Pizza, in Frazier Park, as one of those type of pizzas you are willing to make the drive for. Thank you again for the pizza!

Very good service! I got a Caesar salad with no chicken. The dark brown haired girl working was very nice. I would definitely recommend it anyone!

Walking into this establishment I found it very busy but orangized. The lady who served us at the register she is a tall Caucasian older lady with dirty blonde hair, petite, and short hair. She was very nice. Works hard and quickly. Although she was busy she put in two pizza orders instead of one. She was too busy, when we ordered. My uncle had ordered 1 pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms. Instead at our table we were served with 1 pepperoni pizza and 1 pepperoni and mushroom pizza. The lady was too busy and must've ordered it wrong on her POS. But it's fine. Overall we enjoyed the pizza and the service. This place was great. Would def come back if I'm going back to fraizer park.

This place is awesome! The customer service is 10/10. Food 10/10. The pizza is not too greasy and so good. Highly recommend starters- zucchini sticks, pickle spears, garlic cheese bread and the Cesar salad. Plenty of seating inside and outside. This place will not disappoint!

Food: I had the medium size Combination Pizza and Caveman fries. My partner is a meat lover. The combination had bacon, salami, pepperoni and sausage and other toppings that definitely satisfied his cravings. Ingredients were fresh, the crust was crispy and overall perfectly baked. We liked it. The fries were covered in batter. Not the common kind, we loved it! I would come back to try the loaded baked potato pizza. Service: Good and friendly Ambiance: Old school laid back vibe. *Dogs are allowed outdoor.

My husband is the pickiest snobbiest pizza brat ever. And i quote. "Pleasantly surprised." Did we have a ton of options? No. Did we drive a few miles out of the way to come here? Yes. Worth it? Yes. Could there be some serious decor upgrades because I'm also a snob? Also yes. 4.78 out of 5. V friendly service and free ice to go!!!

The stuffed crust with cream cheese or mozzarella is a must--you can't go wrong. Karoline is incredibly welcoming and clearly takes pride in her restaurant and the food she makes. The soups are delicious, especially the tortilla soup and corn chowder. Everything we tried is scrumptious, from the salads to the desserts. Definitely try the pistachio-filled cannoli! The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting, making it a great spot to dine in, but it's also solid for takeout. Highly recommend.

After placing a takeout order, we proceeded to wait 60-75 min for our food. The place was not swamped, nor was the front person on the phone taking call in orders. Everyone there was complaining about the wait. It was ridiculous. We ordered 2 individual pizzas, which ended up being mostly bread due to the crust "design", which I imagine they think of as their signature artisanal move. It's too much bread, and way too much cheese for the size of pizza. That said, the sausage and mushrooms on mine were tasty, but my wife was disgusted with her slab of plain cheese. It honestly feels as though they bought a restaurant in a very desirable tourist location with the thought of "we have recipes, how hard can it be"? There is an elderly lady in the back who looks to be making everything, and I assume is the source of all the recipes. In addition to the Italian food (pizza, pasta, subs), there are chicken wings, gyros, and a realm of packaged baked goods (stated to be made on site). It's all too much and, in addition to the quality, reads as very very confused. I hate to beat up on a local business when so many are needed, but we won't be back. Advice: take stock in these Yelp reviews and recalibrate what you're trying to do.

Like others mentioned I have to highlight the coconut in the curry. A real treat for my tastebuds. Everything was superb. The Laksa was bursting with flavors as well. So good. It's one of those meals where you are trying to identify each herb and spice used. And just want to take your time with each bite to thoroughly enjoy. Very complex flavors and so delicious. The portions are very good and we are looking forward to enjoying the 2nd half for dinner again this evening. It really was a treat and we will be back when we are in the area again. You must try to understand! Kind of surprising to find such a culinary treat in such a small mountain area. Frazier is lucky to have this little gem!

The atmosphere felt warm, lively, and welcoming in a way that made it easy to relax and enjoy the moment. The food there tasted genuinely good to me, and every dish had the kind of flavor that makes you slow down and appreciate what you're eating instead of rushing through it. I liked how comfortable everything felt, and I appreciated that I could enjoy my time without feeling pressured or hurried. I noticed a lot of teenagers at this location, which made sense because the place has a fun, friendly vibe that younger people would enjoy a lot. Seeing them there made me realize how much teenagers would love spending time at The Perch, especially since it gives them a spot where they can eat good food, talk, laugh, and feel like they belong. Even though this restaurant was new to me, I didn't realize how much there was to enjoy until I walked around and settled in. I've only visited The Perch one time in my life before writing this review, but that one visit was enough for me to understand why people speak so positively about it. It's one of the most comfortable and enjoyable restaurants I've been to in a while, and I would highly recommend that teenagers go there because it gives them a place to enjoy good food, spend time with friends, and feel part of a lively environment. If you're in Frazier Park and want a spot that feels inviting and fun, The Perch is definitely worth checking out.
