3 topping pepperoni, sausage and pineapple pizza

I visited the Bear Claw Bakery in Pine Mountain Club yesterday and I had an amazing experience. The worker was so polite and she logged into the wifi for me. My fiance and I ordered the medium 3 topping pizza with 2 sodas special for $16.99 plus tax. This was a fundraiser for the Peak to Peak Charter School. We had the pepperoni, sausage and pineapple pizza. The pizza was cooked perfectly, pineapple was just right and the crust was crispy and tasty. I would definitely try again in the future.

Breakfast sandwich with everything

This bakery is a favorite spot to visit when coming to Pine Mountain Club. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and happy. You truly feel they enjoy what they do and know customers by their faces and names. We only come up to Pine Mountain Club two or three time a year but they always remember us. In addition the food and pastries are delicious. I love to get the Cappuccino muffin and my husband really enjoys their empanadas. We just go their breakfast sandwich with everything and loved it. It was delicious. They have a few tables outside with umbrellas and a birds nest that made its home in one of the umbrellas. A very friendly gentleman plays violin to a track outside and sets the vibe of a cafe. This bakery is more than a bakery, it's become a little cafe. I love this gem!

Such an absolute GEM!! Not only would I say to stop here if you're in the area, but I would say make a point to go here! I splurged and bought several things so I could try them all. Everything was delicious!! And the COFFEE!!!! I'm coming back just for that! (I had a caramel latte). The almond bear claw was my favorite, but we loved everything. The sweet owners are the cherry on top. I love supporting small businesses and definitely recommend Bear Claw Bakery. It's an adorable mountain bakery that'll you'll be craving too. Love "Dave" & her daughter :)

Empanadas ALWAYS ask for the chimichurri sauce!!

Like family! Everything is delicious! My faves are the pizzas, empanadas, and orange-cranberry muffins! But DEFINITELY treat yourself to a cinnamon roll!!!

Hi... do they carry any gluten free items? Heading there this weekend and wanted to know.

Yes, we do we do pizza gluten free, and chocolate mini cakes.

Not just for breakfast!!! I just tried the empanadas and they are fantastic! Can I order a dozen or two in advance?

Sure you can, just give a call sometime ahead.

The people who work there are also super friendly and happy to answer questions. There coffee is great and I love both the hot and cold options. The most recent time I was there I had an iced coffee and a pretty decent breakfast sandwich with eggs, cheese, and bacon on an everything bagel. It was tasty and came out quickly. The bacon was chopped up into the egg, which I liked. They also recently started selling these incredible cinnamon rolls from a local bakery called Just Cinnamon. It happened to be a Friday the last time I was there so I brought a caramel pecan roll home to share with my wife. We loved it! My parents are older and get cold easily, so we sat next to the fire pit. It turns off suddenly and we request it to please be turned back on as it's overcast and barely noon, and a waitress who hasn't been near us in 20 minutes says she smelled gas just now and had to turn it off. Translation: cheap management saw the sun coming out and wanted to save money. There was no gas smell. So classless. Even when we mentioned it again and asked, the glazed-eyes looking girl gave a slight remix of her "unfortunately umm due to me umm smelling gas umm we are not able to turn it back onnnnn." Is everyone who works here on meds or something? Coffee was terrible and watered-down, and simple premade sandwiches took 20 minutes to heat in a panini press and bring out. Food was very mediocre and my "poached" egg was basically hard boiled. The food tastes much better when you order online, probably because they actually know you have a set time limit to pick it up so they make it fresh and with effort. They just dgaf if you're seated, I guess. Just go to Lucky Llama guys.

Living in a mountain community, many of us would love to have a local pizza spot we're excited to support regularly. Unfortunately, the pizza here feels very generic and lacks the care, flavor, and craftsmanship that make a pizza memorable. The sauce is bland, the crust lacks character, and the overall experience feels more like a frozen grocery store pizza than something made fresh in a restaurant. What disappoints me most is that pizza doesn't have to be complicated. Great pizza comes from quality ingredients, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for the craft. Right now, it feels like the pizza is being made to fill an order rather than to create something people crave and come back for. This community deserves a pizza place that takes pride in its product. With more focus on flavor, better ingredients, and a little more love in the kitchen, I truly believe this restaurant could become a local favorite. I hope this review is taken in the spirit it's intended: not as criticism for criticism's sake, but as encouragement to raise the bar and create pizza that reflects the pride and character of our mountain town.
