Gas was cheaper that the surround stations (Not as cheap as Lost hIlls) and since it is a truck stop it had an Epic store attached to it. Not exactly easy on and off but close to the freeway, with a huge area to park, ample room at the pumps, and spotlessly clean top to bottom. The coffee was pretty good. Had a nice chat with the guy who was serving customers. He told me that they sell a little vial of melted snow water in the souvenir shop (apparently an inside joke lol!). He let me try jams and told me about the lady who makes them. Great sales skills - I walked out with a jar of golden yellow plum jam - decadent! Wasn't fooled into the snow water though The jam was worth the $20 because it brightened up my day for weeks after every time I ate it. When I recently returned 3 months later for the same routine, there were more employees on staff, taking good care of their customers. I had a little chat with a local lady about the winter weather in the area And the guy from last time remembered me too. We had a little catch up chat, which was so welcoming and neighborly. I love this about smaller communities. I'll be back for sure next time I'm driving through. Can't wait for the jams to come back in stock. They also serve smoothies and sandwiches for breakfast and have an outside seating area next to the building.
