Soda machine down! No icecream,no shakes or mcflurrys. Waited in drive thru for 20 plus minutes. Deserve a 0 star. Total waist of time!!!

Very handy for the less intrepid Hungry Valley campers who aren't into camp food. Also good for a drive-through run if you've already made a pit stop at the gas station. Inside service has good and bad times. It must be a challenge to staff a larger operation in the middle of nowhere. Sometimes the bathroom at the gas station is way nicer. Whoa, how often does that happen? To be fair, being off the interstate, these restrooms get a lot of use and abuse, but beware. If you're towing or driving a larger vehicle like a motorhome, STAY OUT of the parking lot. There's plenty of parking along the wide shoulders of the nearby roads. read more

Always a good pit stop between Bako and LA. They are usually fast and get your order right. It's better than the McDs at Tejon because that one doesn't have the cafe drinks. They were fast and friendly today. read more

I have never reviewed a McDonalds but todays is the day. Vince greeted me with smile and was the nicest person I have came across at a McDonalds. Went above and beyond in taking my order. I'm simply writing this review on customer service which is the most important thing that any business can sell. read more

Friendly staff awesome food they never run out of any other supplies there on it definitely a stop is necessary if you're in the area

When traveling to bakersfield we always stop here... Mc Donald's fries are the greatest there is but this Mc Donald's fries are over and beyond the greatest! read more

Why does it take 10minutes to get a sausage McMuffin with Egg?? This place needs more more help

Worst McDonalds ever! Went through drive through about 30 min ago and there wasn't one thing that went right. Ordering seemed to go Okay and there were a few cars ahead of us to get to the window (which took forever!) She opens the window and asks if we are the "hot chocolate order", which we were. She hands us the small hot chocolate, a small FF SF vanilla latte ( which was supposed to be medium. I gave the latte back to her saying it was supposed to be medium and I watched the chick just pour my "latte" in a larger cup and added some stuff to it. She then handed us our bag with food and we realized the bag was not the right order. She switched our bag out for the correct bag and hands me my latte. We drive away and we finish the breakfast and start drinking our hot chocolate and mocha. Well, the SMALL hot chocolate isn't hot chocolate (its my latte!) and the now Medium latte is now a mixture of hot chocolate and vanilla latte. Get your Sh*t together people. read more

My husband was waiting for bathroom fir about 10 min. A McDonald's worker finally came out. He then asked my husband, "Do you want me to get you some stuff?" Meaning toilet paper n seat covers... My husband was speechless... he then walked out of bathroom behind worker who didn't wash his hands. Disgusting!!!! Big Caucasian guy. Both Bathrooms were dirty and had no soap or supplies read more

AC was busted, bathrooms had toilets that wouldn't flush and my niece found orange specs and pink fuzz in her soft serve. Fries were flat and greasy. Def check the bathrooms before buying the food. UGH, also my ice coffee came with 2 pieces of ice... read more

The bathroom was GROSS. It was raining out and there were flies in the restaurant. They "weren't selling" fries that day. When I got my cheeseburger it had a piece of shriveled old lettuce inside the wrapper and my burger had no lettuce on it. I didn't eat it. I believe there was toilet paper on the floor in the restaurant area. It was almost empty so there's really no excuse. Awful. read more

We have been driving since Huntington Beach and we NEEDED a pit stop. All the restaurants around we're closed, so we decided to grab a quick bite from this McDonalds. When we went in, we were pretty hesitant. Everything seemed dirty. The tables, chairs, counters and floor was pretty gnarly. One of the staff member was pretty rude and didn't seem like she wanted to be at work. Luckily our food came out fast so we could get out as soon as possible. Next time we do a road trip, I think we'll just go to the next town over to grab a bite. read more

Can we give this dump 0 stars!!! I'm traveling back home and I really need to use the restroom and so we stop here and yuck!!! To my horror it seems the bathrooms haven't been cleaned in over a year!! It seemed like a scene from Horder's TV show!!! The sink was brown!! I had ordered a coffee and I canceled that upon seeing their disgusting floor counters!!! Yuck!! Yuck!! Don't come in!! read more

Just another McDonalds, I don't expect or get much. The food was made accurately, it did take a long time, but with the holiday weekend, it is understandable. The general area around restaurant was very dirty lots of trash. read more

So I read the reviews basically saying don't go here unless you dying, not so much. Typically McDonald will get a three star from me. They don't really do much either way to deserve more or less stars. But this time they did mess up my order a little. I said no pickles and my receipt says it as well. Not fun driving down grape vine picking my pickles off my food...... read more

This truly is the McDonalds that Time Forgot. It's almost worth a pilgrimage just to see what a fast food joint looks like before it's about to be condemned. Flies, filth, broken furniture and stinky bathrooms where touching the door handle to get out feels like a fall through Dante's Inferno. Food still tasted normal and I haven't died yet. That may be an anomaly and I will never go back to find out. read more

Very dissappointed. During our yearly trips up north my family and I always stop by this mcdonalds for some breakfast. When we came, I asked if they had hash browns and they said no. My sister wanted a snack wrap and they said they didn't have any. She then asked for a chicken nugget meal and they didn't have any toys (not that that mattered, but it just goes to show you how this mcdonalds has nothing available. The line for the restrooms was really long and there were no paper towels or hand dryers. The cashier that took our order was chewing gum and playing with her hair, very unprofessional. The other workers wore sweaters that covered their uniforms so it looked very unprofessional. I work in fast food and this is definitely something that would not be allowed where I work. I guess we're not gonna stop by here anymore. read more

..... this place gave me a headache with loud metal chairs screeching across the tile every 2 seconds and numbers being screamed from the counter every 4 seconds. The food is Mickey D yummy..... but I wish I would have done the drive thru. It was total chaos. ugh read more

really... no play center? What??? no iced coffee either??? Wow, what a bad combo, Seemed like the perfect place to stop and let the lil ones stretch their legs and have an iced coffee to break up the long drive from Kings Canyon to LA. Waited 15 minutes in drive through. One car in front of me. f-ing crazy!!! This was the longest wait I ever had thru a drive-thru in my life. There was one car in front of me. When I finally got to the window I still had to wait for my food. No explanation at all. They take my money and made me wait. I would avoid this place at all costs. read more

This is the first time I have ever stopped in hungry valley and first time I ever was completely disgusted with a fast food restaurant (in the USA). Me and my daughter parked the car and noticed it looked pretty busy. As we walked to the store, trash was strewn across parking lot. Inside the store it looked like there mustve been a million people in there minutes before. There was paper torn up and thrown across the floor, food leftovers on many of the tables and a ungodly amount of flies hovering around. Lucky for us, we got there just in time to beat the crowd and got our food in about 5-10 minutes. The soda machine was broken. Think it was out of syrup or something, but it tasted horrid. Two workers were on break in the dirty store, only one lady on register to help huge crowd that came in behind me, and only one guy that was trying to clean the restrooms and rest of the restaurant. Needless to say, we ate outside and dealt with what smelled like portojohns just so we wouldn't have flies buzzing around us. Disgusting. Two stars due to the food at least coming fast. read more

Wow, went here and couldn't believe the prices. $1 a piece more than the McDonalds down the hill, $4.50 for a Fish Sandwich, $4.50 for a Big Mac and you don't even want to know how much the bigger sandwiches cost almost $6 and the girl at the register says because people will pay it so we can charge it!! Wow, drive the other way on the offramp to the Carls JR for a $2.85 Famous Star!! GEEZ read more

Pros: - Right off the 5 freeway - Easy to maneuver parking lot - Drive-thru - Workers were friendly Cons: - A LOT of flies in the dining area - Bits and pieces of trash on tables - Random wet spots on the floor - Managed to mess up our order, as well as, everybody else's - Bathrooms were a mess read more

Always wrong, cold fries, run out of sodas consistently, bad parking lot pedestrian design. Dangerous. I have been here in 16 years a couple hundred times, I guess I am hoping they figure things out. read more

Service was so bad. Lines where so long and no one wanted to attended us in line. Bathrooms always so filthy and muddy as if you where going into a gas station restroom. No on helped me out when I need to get sauces, and they have overall a horrible attitude the worst thing is that I waited over 30mins to only get 2 cheeseburger and fries for them to come out really cold. Worst McDonald's I have ever seen so disgusting and unorganized read more

This McDonald's is disgusting. The inside is filthy and smells awful. We ordered and waited much longer than we should have based on how little people were inside. When they finally called our order the entire thing was wrong. We ordered breakfast burritos a parfait and hash browns and we were given two McMuffins instead. We went back to complain and they argued with us for about five minutes before they fixed our order. When I ate my parfait it had a dusty almost moldy taste to it and it was obviously expired. It had no expiration date on it anywhere. Severely disappointed read more

Disgustingly dirty, don't have particularly high expectations for a fast-food establishment, but typically you can count on McDonalds for consistency, and cleanliness, but so not so for this poor, busy outpost off the grapevine. Women's Bathroom had 2 of the 5 toilets out of order, tissue everywhere, no protector seat covers, floor & grout looked like it hadn't been steamed cleaned in years, mirrors and sink has mold. NOT exactly appetizing - had major EW factor! I alerted the staff, who gave me the obligatory attitude of, "yeah, lady we'll get right on that...just after we solve that Middle East crisis" :-/ Hey managment, this isn't Rocket Science; spend the money and have your place dipped in Bleach & scrubbed, and assign a process that would allow your well-placed rest stop to actually be inviting verses a place of last resort. Until then, going to Carl Jr's across the street, as they seem to care about appearances. read more

Check the bathrooms before you eat here!!! I'd give it 0 stars if I could. First problem was they were out of regular & chocolate milk for happy meals. Employees were just hanging around taking up tables. Both the men's & women's restrooms were disgusting. The worst we've seen. Clogged toilets, plunger laying around, splatters on toilets, trash can next to toilet with toilet paper in it, pubes everywhere, no paper towels, no toilet paper...food tasted fine, but disgusted us after seeing the bathrooms. We ate before seeing the bathrooms. read more

This must be the worst McDonalds in America. Several tables had stuffing coming out of the seats. The windows were dirty and flies were everywhere. The bathrooms were dirty and had no toilet paper in the men's and women's restrooms. The staff was handing out food napkins if you asked. The food was cold and clearly not standard as you normally see. I have traveled America and many other countries and this was shockingly bad. read more

It's 104 outside and the hubby has to pee, wait there is a McD's, I can get a caramel sundae. 5 Stars!

I drive up to Sacramento from San Diego a few times a year, and this McDonalds is a bit of a tradition for me. I always time it so that I'm stopping here for breakfast on the way up, and an afternoon snack on the way back. The food is decent enough... typical McDonalds stuff. Employees are mostly the same ones I have been seeing for years now, and are all very friendly. Bathrooms are hit and miss... sometimes clean, sometimes in need of serious attention. I'll definitely keep coming back... it's a nice place to chill after the long drive up the mountain. read more

I'd give no stars to this crappy ass place if I could. Excuse my language but we stopped here on our way home to use the bathroom and grab something quick to eat. The bathroom is beyond dirty and had NO toilet paper. When I asked the front they passed me along to 3 people before I got the response "we don't have any toilet paper" I then asked for napkins and they said I couldn't have any because it'll mess up the system....... tell me exactly what I'm supposed to do. I had to go so bad at that point I said f it and walked into the men's bathroom and grabbed myself the little amount of toilet paper they had left. It was gross and smelled horrible. The urinal was filled with pee and I was just beyond disgusted I didn't even buy anything to eat. read more
