Memorable rating: 4 out of 5 (the grilled chicken salads are worth coming back for) Battle of the Fast Food salads: Southwest Salad Asian Salad Both with grilled chicken are definitely a twist over BK's Tendergrill and much lighter than Wendy's salads... I dont eat too many burgers from fast food joints anymore... and a fast salad is something important to me nowadays... and McD's has definitely come through with a nice selection... They took very long with my order and on top of the wait, they forgot to give me my parfait! Very disappointed.

My girlfriend and I love McDonalds breakfast. I actually think we need to take a break from eating it every Sunday lol. This location is in a great area with Costco, Best Buy, Home Depot and other food places right next to it. Every time I go, its busy, but the inside is big so there is always seating. Staff is friendly and will actually come up and ask how our food is. I cannot talk about quality of food for anything after breakfast because that is all I eat from McDonalds, but breakfast is always delicious. This Mcdonalds only serves breakfast before 11 on Saturday and Sundays. It's kind of conflicitng that you can order breakfast all day but can't order the lunch menu before 11. Stopped here with the kids on the way back home from camping at Refugio. Nice little MickeyDs. Sports memorabelia everywhere, friendly staff and nice bathrooms. The kids were so tired they started to fall asleep while they were eating. Food was as expected. That's all I'll say about that. read more

Ending up getting 2 Grand Mac's. Pretty garbage, they didnt have any lettuce in the top layer and no big mac sauce except the bottom bun. Pretty dissatisfied. So I generally visit this McD whenever I go shopping at the marketplace. Today, I did some Holiday shopping at a nearby store and I had a cart with me since I had a lot of stuff to carry. I wanted to grab some fries and hot chocolate so I went inside the restaurant with my cart. There wasn't any board that said I'm not allowed to take the cart inside and I was alone so I couldn't leave it outside unattended neither. So I kept the cart in a corner inside the restaurant(The restaurant was almost empty) and came to order. There was this lady who saw me keeping the cart and everything and just when I was about to order, she told me very rudely that I'm not allowed to keep the cart inside the restaurant. I told her that I just want some fries to-go and it had valuable things so I can't leave it unattended outside of the restaurant but it still didn't have any effect on her. She raised her voice and said I can't order if I don't leave the cart outside and come. I've never experienced a treatment like this from anyone in the US till now. I just took my cart and left the place thinking I should never come back again. This is definitely not the way you are supposed to treat customers. Highly disappointed read more

This place is a zoo with a 20-minute eating time limit, only understandable once you walk through the door. The only reason we did was because of my 6-year old's meltdown. Chicken nuggets were necessary to calm his stretched temper. Too many guests, not enough seating, and plenty of folks that really look like they would park it if not for the 20-minute limit. This mcdonalds has gone down hill. Used to be the best mcdonalds ever. Incompetent staff, bad quality product, and on top of that none of the staff speak any english. Management needs to change and employees need to be trained better. Also cleanliness is a disaster. I used to love this place but now its not the same, i think they changed ownership or something. They have gone cheap. I had to send back my food five times, until they got my order right. All because the people up front don't speak english. They don't have the deals they used to eaither. I already had the misfortune of suffering through a "sausage burrito" for breakfast one time, but hey, I'm a guy who believes in second chances so I figured I'd give McDonald's another try. Big mistake. Huge. I ordered a McChicken, a Hot N Spicy McChicken, and a McDouble (no cheese). I got my food and asked for Buffalo Dipping Sauce and it happened. The attendant menacingly sneered at me and said "I don't think so, pretty boy" (or something along those lines). I stood there puzzled and asked why my simple request could not be satisfied. He said he'd give me my sauce... for 25 cents. I was flabbergasted. 25 cents for a cubic inch of dipping sauce? The only way this food is even edible is to drown out the taste with slightly less shitty tastes. I angrily obliged and got home in a less than positive mood to put it lightly. I opened my food and lo and behold what do I find? Cheese on my fucking McDouble. They ruined 33% of my order. That's a failing grade in nearly all other professional fields. this review pertains specifically to the McDonalds at marketplace First of all, where's the drive thru? Second of all, I've been to this location 10 times in the past 3 years and every single time, I have been disappointed that the food is not as satisfactory as other locations. Third, why does this location not have the same deals that are advertised in commercials. If a commercial says "two items for $4" then why do the cashiers inform me that this location it the exception. Why do they want to charge poor college students who appreciate value items more? Tonight I came in after fasting for 18 hours, I was craving a cheeseburger, fries and cherry pies. I order and pay and the food came out promptly in less than six minutes. The cashier informs me that they are out of cherry pie and offers strawberry (gross!). He can see by my facial expression that that was not what I wanted. He offers me an ice cream cone, which I didn't really want but was in too much of a rush to ask for a refund. I took the cone and looked in my take-away bag when I was at the bus stop. I ordered a large fry because it's only ten cents more than the medium. My large fry was half full and the fries were cold and soggy. My $2 cheeseburger was decent. I also like that you can order from the touch screens because lord knows I have social anxiety which is why I like drive- thrus. I think this place has potential. read more

(only 5 minutes driving) I would say the one in my hometown Hacienda heights has better food quality and service. Next time, don't forget to check your togo bag.
