    Original Hot and Louisiana Rub
    Mark Y.

I love wings and even though they're a chain I'm glad to see them open up a location here in town. They aren't the best wings I've ever had, but I'm a southern boy and the standards are pretty high. For a chain location on the Left Coast they'll do. The Original Hot isn't that hot, but they're a decent wing. I enjoyed the Louisiana Rub, too. My companion enjoyed the sweet Hawaiian and we both liked the Hickory Smoked BBQ. She thinks they add too much sauce, but I don't think she's had been to enough wing places yet to appreciate wings smothered in sauce. I probably would have given them four stars but we had to wait about 20 minutes while they filled an endless procession of online and delivery orders. I was reaching the point of demanding a refund when our order finally came up. I'd think that people standing there waiting would get bumped to the front of the queue.

Lots of Online orders and Door Dash!

Who would of ever thought Santa Barbara would allow us to have a Wingstop! Not only that but since day one, which was last week for the Grand Opening this place has been super busy. Every time I would attempt to come here they had a crowd of people waiting outside. Well I finally had a chance to try it last night and the wait time was about 10 minutes. Not too bad! As I sat inside waiting for my order it gave me a chance to observe the staff and customers. The majority of customers had placed their orders online which I encourage you to do if you have a big order or short for time. They also offer Door Dash but a bit of warning if you order fries; mine were a little soggy by the time I got home. They were well seasoned but a little too salty for my taste. The staff here was doing there best to keep up with orders and help customers find their brown bag of food waiting on the table for pickup. For the people complaining about the service, you're not the only customer! Obviously this is a new restaurant and you can't expect it to be perfect. Especially when they are getting slammed with orders. There is bound to be mistakes or long wait times so use your common sense and cut them some slack! The bad reviews have no profile picture so don't pay attention to the trollers here. As for my wings, I ordered the lemon pepper and habanero mango. They were beyond my expectations in flavor! The lemon pepper was perfectly seasoned and the habanero mango was sticky, spicy n subtly sweet. Both were perfect! Can't wait to try more flavors. You can order all flat wings or classic. I had the combo of both but I think I prefer all flat because they are easier to eat. At least in my opinion they are. Overall I'm stoked we have a wingstop! I don't do fast food restaurants that often but for chicken wings, count me in please :)

IM SO EXCITED! When I am telling you I have been waiting for a Wingstop to finally open in Santa Barbara, I meant it. When I first came to UCSB 3 years ago, I craved Wingstop and wished we had one here, now we do! Located next La Cumbre Plaza, come on down and check out the new wingstop!! Since they just opened yesterday 2/9/21, I recommended doing a mobile order in advance then going there to just pick it up. Or else you will have to wait forever in line. My mobile order only took 15 minutes and when I got there, they had this whole line of tables with over 20 orders on it. Talk about EFFICIENT & DELICIOUS. Also, I called them beforehand to make sure they were open & considering they were super busy, they answered the phone right away! The workers were very nice! Considering it was busy, they did a really good job at keeping things orderly and covid conscious. If you're looking for some good boneless or bone-in wings, Wingstop is your place! My personal favorite flavor (that is completely underrated) is Louisiana Rub! Also pay the extra money and get ranch, they have the best ranch I have ever had in my life! And if you're looking to burn your mouth off, or simply just loooove spicy wings I recommend the Atomic or Mango Habanero. Popular flavors: - Lemon Pepper - Garlic Parmesan - Mango Habanero All time personal favorites: - Louisiana Rub (boneless) - RANCH - Fries (they put a little bit of sugar in their seasoning it's delicious)

This wingstop makes great wings! Ben did an amazing job serving us our wings. Will recommend to others. The restaurant plays nice music and always gets orders out quickly and on a timely manner.

I was desperate and saw the chicken sandwich advertised in the window, so I thought I'd give it a shot. First of all, even though I got mine too eat in the restaurant, it came in a styrofoam box. Wtf?! It's 2022 and they're still using styrofoam. Secondly, the sandwich is just fried chicken and pickles on a bun. That's it. It comes with a side sauce, but I was expecting lettuce, tomatoes..something besides meat and pickles. And third, the fries were disgusting - greasy and soggy. Maybe the wings are worthwhile, but I won't know because I'll never be back.

How can wings be bad you may ask!? They can't! The service was good the most times I went but just seems like something is always forgotten on my order. I go here once a month or so since I work near it but I've learned to thoroughly check my bag to ensure everything is there. Can't go wrong with the Spicy Korean flavor

I had to see what all the fuss was about opening week. To begin, I'm not a crazy wing addict like many other people, so take what I say with a grain of salt. Nor have I ever been to a Wingstop franchise before--which chain restaurants are few and far between in Santa Barbara (thankfully). I placed an order for the Big Night In Bundle (25 Boneless Wings, 3 flavors, and 3 dips for $16.99) to be shared amongst three of us. I utilized Wingstop's online ordering website, which was super easy and user-friendly. The biggest decision was when it came to deciding what flavors (some for a limited time), seasonings and dips we would like with our wings. I thankfully had to follow my fellow Yelper's judgement on this one: Plain chicken tenders (a good place to start), Mild wings (try the basics first), and Hawaiian wings (what seemed to be a crowd favorite and had a bit of a welcomed kick). We enjoyed the wings for what they were. They weren't fatty or had any odd chewy sections, but instead were filled with decent white meat. The breading was tasty and spread throughout evenly. The sauces, however, were a bit overwhelming similar to Buffalo Wild Wings. We preferred the plain tenders the most dipped in the dipping sauces of ranch and honey mustard. I guess we are basic. My biggest complaint is that, as with most junk food, their menu consists of a lot of carbs (breaded wings, french fries, bread buns, etc). Definitely not a healthy option... However, one perk is that they're one of the few businesses open late in town (until midnight daily!), so for those who want to fill their gut after a long day or drinking, here's the place.

YAY WINGSTOP SB!! I'm so happy that there's finally a wingstop in Santa Barbara. Whenever I'd be craving wingstop, I'd either have to drive to the one in Oxnard or the Lompoc location. This restaurant is located in the La Cumbre Plaza next to Chipotle. The inside is fairly small but there is an outside seating area. You can place an order online and avoid the crowds! The overall appearance of the place was clean and nice. The online ordering was easy and quick. We ordered the 15 piece meal for 2; which comes with 15 wings of your choice (up to 2 flavors), large fries or veggies, 2 dips and 2 drinks. This is a great choice especially for a date night dinner. We ordered our all time favorites which include the boneless mango habanero and the classic lemon pepper (bone in). If you like spicy food, I'd recommend the mango habanero. It has a good kick to it with plenty of flavor and sauce. The lemon pepper wings are delicious and seasoned so well. When we got there, there was a line. Some people were waiting to place orders and others were awaiting for their online orders to be ready for pick up. We waited about 10-15 minutes and our online order was ready. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. A cashier named Aaliyah helped us and she provided great customer service :) we definitely will be coming back and getting our wingstop fix. Keep up the great work wingstop SB!

The space had plenty of seating. We ordered the Korean Nashville chicken sandwich, Chicken Parmesan sandwich, Mac and cheese, Cole slaw, baked beans, and banana pudding (not pictured). The Korean Nashville chicken sandwich was super tasty and had a good amount of spice. The chicken was perfectly fried and loved that it had a little asian fusion to it. Was a little thrown off by only one slice of bread being toasted, but it didn't change the overall taste. The chicken parmesan sandwich was on the specials menu, and it did not disappoint! Loved the bread roll it was on, and it was nice that they gave an extra side of marinara to dip. Out of the sides the baked beans were my favorite! Super tasty with bits of bacon. Mac and cheese and cole slaw were both solid. The banana pudding was also amazing! Super fresh and was a generous portion. Will be back!

Very warm, welcoming and professional staff. It was busy and the cashier/waitress handled taking orders, delivering food to tables and kept the customers informed that she would be with them soon and all with a smile. The chicken tenders are tasty, tender and a nice size. Good sauces too. Biscuits are mini biscuits, tasty but expensive for what you get. I would prefer to just pay for a regular size biscuit instead of $10 for 6 mini one-bite biscuits. My main gripe were with the wings. They are a nice size, but not tender and cooked with too much batter. You have to cut into them to take the batter off or else you get a mouthful of batter. Also, the meat itself is not seasoned. If they could improve the wings it would be a much better product. So for now, we'll stick to the tenders.

There was an indoor area, and we didn't know at the time, but there are separate outdoor waiter service areas and counter service. We did counter service. There were two people at registers. There was literally no one in front of us and no marked nor even obvious line area. Naturally we stand a few feet in front of one of the registers waiting for her to say, "can I help you" before we move to. Instead the woman (to make it worse, I think she was the patio manager because she was older than the others and seemed to be doing more things than just working a register) gives us the, "I need you to wait in the line area over there" and points to a barrel with no indication that it's a line. You know like the old David Spade skit. This already left a bad taste in my mouth because again there was no line marked, no one waiting, and it's not like we got up in her space or were being pushy. She was just power tripping. To make it worse, we came here because they literally have "full bar" painted on the outside of the building, and the other places around are mostly wine bars or beer gardens. BUT (keep reading)... One of the young people working calls us from the "line of just us" to help us (because of course the other woman wasn't going to). They have 3 specialty margaritas listed. I ask if I can just get a "regular margarita". She says "no because they only sell pre-made drinks". Uh, what about the FULL BAR? Then we sit down. They have a few long picnic bench style tables. They all had a party at them but they were big so we asked a group if we could share the opposite end. The other customers were cool and had no problem with it. BUT... There were no napkins nor condiments. When our food arrived, it was mediocre. We left unhappy but didn't make a fuss. As we were leaving, the power tripping woman thanked us for coming as if she hadn't just been a total B to us for no reason.

Since we don't live in the neighborhood, it became an "out of sight, out of mind" situation. When my wife mentioned her friend's recommendation, we finally decided to give it a try. This visit was takeout, but after stepping inside, we're already looking forward to dining in. The dining room and patio felt warm, inviting, and welcoming--exactly the kind of place you want to spend an evening with friends and family. The NOTORIOUS P.I.E. was off the hook! Slam dunk. Three-pointer. Nothing but net! Without question, it's the best pizza I've had in Santa Barbara. As a chef from Chicago, I have very high pizza expectations. Let's start with the crust: a light, airy, chewy interior surrounded by a crispy, caramelized cheese crust that was perfectly executed. The pepperoni was crisp and slightly salty without being greasy. The house-made tomato sauce was restrained and unobtrusive--just enough to complement the mozzarella, white cheddar, and burrata without overpowering them. The only thing I would change is that it was a little heavy on the pickled chiles. But the pièce de résistance was the hot honey drizzle. It brought everything together and elevated an already outstanding pizza to another level. We also ordered a Caesar salad, but honestly, we couldn't stop eating the pizza long enough to give the salad the attention it deserved. The romaine appeared fresh and crisp, the dressing was thoughtfully packed on the side, and it looked well prepared. We'll definitely be back. If this pizza is any indication of what The Corner Tap is capable of, I can't wait to work my way through the rest of the menu--and next time, enjoy it from that welcoming patio with a cold drink in hand.

I will just forgo the onions next time. That said, the salad was exceptional! The Korean fried chicken wings do you need some attention. They were very mushy and to be honest, slimy--not crispy on the exterior and tender on the inside and the gochujang sauce should be switched out. It's a little off in its taste. I feel it should have more of a spicy-savory honey-sweet mouthwatering gochujang balance. Hint, go to Den Den Korean Fried Chicken in Providence, RI--though I need to remember this is a pub and not a Korean restaurant, ...there are better recipes out there that are worth testing out. I think the flavor and texture was off and can be improved on significantly. The pizza was pretty good--great for a pub and even better heated up the next day in a skillet with olive oil making the crust slightly crispy. There's ample outdoor and indoor seating with that perfect Corner Tap vibe. Also, noteworthy, inside the place it is absolutely spotless! We will return as it is a great place in a great location.
