The burger was good, I would call it a smash burger as the meat was thin and crispy. I was definitely full afterwards! The Little Bird Sandwich however was falling apart, and the flavor was not impressive. It was $2 to make it spicy, but it looked like they just put some chili oil on it which ended up everywhere but the sandwich. I really enjoyed the milkshake. In the Santa Barbara Public Market. I feel like we happened upon 2 gems here. The Public Market was off the main drag, State St, kind of unassuming from a tourists perspective. We came into the lively market looking for a healthier option. We discovered Little Bird Kitchen, and hubs and I shared a Tuscan Kale Salad with Chicken, that was a great sized portion, with tons of fresh ingredients and ended up being very filling for us two.
