The girl at the window was gracious and knew to call her manager over. The manager, who was also a young girl handled the situation with maturity and efficiency. As I waited for a relative to to arrive , the manager came to my car with my order and told me to feel free to come in to get warm if I got cold. I was so impressed with the calm, competent and compassionate way the manager that evening handled that situation at a very busy time.

My fave item on the Culver's menu is the Cranberry-Bacon-Blue Salad. There was a MINUSCULE amount of bacon on the salad. The cucumbers looked like they'd been accidentally frozen - you know, so mushy that they SHOULD NOT BE USED. The amount of chicken on the salad seemed to be less compared to other locations. While the rest of the order was fine, and the service was fine, I cannot believe that this location could be happy serving up food like this. And while we're at it: Hey Culver's corporate office, can you please put LIDS on thinks like shakes and concrete mixers instead of those open tops, at least when they're "to go"?

Their menu consists largely of Mac & Cheese, wraps, paninis and frozen custard. Being a Wisconsinite it really resonates with me. I get the classic "original" mac and cheese every time. It's always consistently good and it's still warm after my 20 minute drive home. They use a less common noodle that is quite large and the portion is generous too. The other menu item I'm always to is the shake of the week. They always have a different one and they're always good. Oh, and I have to mention their salads. Not for me, but my mother likes them as much a salad she gets anywhere else. Another thing I appreciate is the fact they have an app. An app for a local place isn't common in my experience. This makes it easy to order in advance so you can skip the line, skip the phone call and better still earn rewards. Finally, I have to commend a few of the guys who work here. Two gentlemen in particular who both are always pleasant and personable, which alone is commendable, but they've also both been there a few years. They both seem to be managers, but I'm not sure, though I wanted to recognize them. Both are older than the general staff and both are there various weekdays.

Let me start by saying I don't leave bad reviews unless it was a pretty bad experience. I've worked…read morein the service industry. It's not an easy job, so I tend to be pretty forgiving, but this was the worst Chipotle experience I've had. First, the place was a mess. Every table in the place had food and crud on it. Every surface was unwiped. No clean place to sit, but my wife and I we're on a long car ride and needed food, so we decided to just deal with it. I wanted to order a carnitas burrito with brown rice, but they were out of a few ingredients. No brown rice, no carnitas. In fact, they were completely out of all proteins except chicken and steak. They were also out of chips, just like another reviewer experienced. A Chipotle without chips is like a Five Guys without peanuts or a Taco Bell with no hot sauce. It's not the main attraction, but it's supposed to always be there. So we gave the most approximately clean table a napkin wipe, and I sat down to eat my white rice chicken burrito. But apparently it wasn't very expertly folded, because it unraveled on the second bite and lost all it's filling. And trust me, I know how to eat a danged burrito. There was something structurally wrong here. Also, the bathrooms were not clean and the men's room was out of towels. I don't know if they had a couple no-shows or if this store is just poorly run, but c'mon man, if you're gonna charge 13 bucks for a burrito, I want you to do better. Not mad, just disappointed. At the risk of sounding like a Karen, we won't be back to this location.

Of the 4 or 5 staff standing there no one was interested in lifting a finger to make it presentable. Unfortunately, I was on a time crunch. I began by asking for plain rice. Told the wait for plain rice would be 25 minutes. Wow. Filled a child's container with a tortilla, white rice, guacamole and cheese. I am only assuming the guacamole is not made on site, but it was SO spicy, it was inedible. Then a bite of the rice resulted in a mouth full crunching on salt! Unbearable and unbelievable. The counter top at the checkout area was smeared with food. Neither of the 2 people standing there could be bothered to simply run a cleaning cloth across it. The floors were filthy with food waste. We ate outside and when finished, there was nowhere to dispose of trash. I am only assuming this is an absentee owner-run business. Truly awful.

Date of visit: July 2, 2026…read more I came here with a friend after her daughter raved about it and it was overall a nice meal. The restaurant is slightly awkward in its layout, with a small dining area and a bar in the front plus a larger dining area in the rear. We were promptly greeted by the bartender and given a larger than necessary table--though it did let us spread out a bit so I wasn't too worried about it. We could not see how busy the rest of the restaurant was but we imagined it was fairly steady given the wait. Since we had not seen each other in a while the time passed easily and we didn't mind the wait. Staff was all nice and friendly and ensured that our water glasses were kept full. My Kickin' Bourbon Burger was pretty good, though the tots on the side were a bit underwhelming in terms of portion. Meanwhile my friend's portion of chips was taking over her plate and we were both looking for a bit more moderation in our side items! If you wanted something spicy, this is not the one! That was good for me but may not be what you were looking for. I thought it odd that I wasn't asked for what temperature I wanted my burger and probably would have appreciated it a tad less done than what I received, but overall it was a pretty decent burger. The bourbon sauce was tangy without being too sharp and the pretzel bun was good, if a bit manhandled in appearance.

The service was ok, the food was good. I wanted to try both the Chicago dog and the Maxwell St polish, and they had options for 6inch dogs or 12in dogs and in my mind 6in was small so I ordered the 12in size of both. My goodness, I didn't have a tape measure but those weiners were huge, maybe 14-15inches at least! Great deal at that price too, but if trying multiple options, could have went with the smaller version. I liked the Chicago dog a little better than the polish and my son liked the fries. I'm not much of a beer drinker, but whenever I come here, I always order the Stiegl Grapefruit Radler. It goes down easy and has none of the bitterness that many beers have. For dinner, I ordered the Chopped Salad with added chicken. It arrived looking fresh and was a generous portion. I ended up taking half of it home for another meal. Service: We received terrific service throughout the evening. Our server, Grace, did a great job getting us settled in. Waters arrived right away, followed shortly by our drinks and food. Everything was efficient, but we never felt rushed. She was friendly, attentive, and took the time to have a little conversation with us, making the experience feel more personal. Thanks, Grace! Atmosphere: It was a beautiful evening. Since it was just a little cool outside, we chose a table indoors near one of the open doorways, which let in plenty of fresh air. The noise level was comfortable, making it easy to carry on a conversation. Café Hollander continues to be a solid choice for a great meal.

Upon entering the restaurant I was surprised at both how brightly lit it was as well as how busy it appeared. The Bayshore location does a steady business but I'd never seen it as full and lively. Unfortunately the initial interaction with staff was not great. There wasn't anyone at the register and we stood up there for a good 30 seconds before someone drew the short straw and came up to assist us. There wasn't any greeting, which I am sadly used to these days. After the ordering experience, things did improve. Our burgers were pretty great, cooked to perfection with exactly the items that we wanted on them and we weren't waiting but a few minutes for them to be ready. The Coke Freestyle machine--as well as our table--were clean and I could see staff keeping the restaurant tidy the entire time we were enjoying our meal. Bathrooms were also clean, though the odd placement of the wet floor cone had me concerned that the bathroom was closed, even though it was not.
