I hate going here. I wrote a review once before about how they giggled when I left the drive through with no shake in hand. Because once again, the ice cream machine is broken. Hey dillholes...we know its not broken. Its just that you are too lazy to clean it. I went here one more time with some coworkers. They wanted big macs. I wanted subway instead. But majority votes rule. Anyways, it took so freaking long to get our food. They were goofing around while working. I mean come on, there is a time and a place. Ordered a Mcdouble meal and immediately opening the box I saw the burger falling apart and grease all over. I took a bite and realized the top patty was still rare. Did McDonald's change its patty recipe? Maybe some more training on cooking them is the best way to go... waited 10-15 minutes in a spot while I was the only one in the drive thru for this. if I could give 0 stars I would. After not eating all day I go through the drive thru to be harassed by a worker named Abby B. Never once was I rude over the intercom. All because she has some issue with my family. I didn't know who she was until I got to the window. at that point I asked politely for someone else to take my card. she got her manager to do it and I left. The past 3 times we have stopped and gotten food at this drive-thru the orders were all incomplete. 3 times in a row they left apple slices out of all the Happy Meals. Twice they didn't give us drinks with the happy meals, and all 3 times they also forgot sauce. You need to literally make them wait while you check every item in your order bc this location is sloppy and careless. And don't bother trying to call about incorrect orders bc they don't answer the phone either. Avoid this store if at all possible. read more

Just like most everyone else I've been to literally dozens of McDonald's restaurants. Nothing special there. The one in Braidwood has the standard fare. However, it has to be the slowest drive-thru in the history of the fast food. No matter what I order and when, I'm advised to "pull forward." If I'm lucky I get my order in ten minutes and sometimes they even get it right. One time they forgot me totally. The students working there move in slow motion. The only time you see the teen boys moving faster than a constipated snail is when a hot young girl orders something, then their ears turn red and start flapping, their tongue hangs out and they actually MOVE. Otherwise, these guys can barely form a sentence (obviously due to the fatigue of existing). When you drive up to the window to get your food, their eyes are at half-mast and they move as if underwater, toss your food at you and go back to sleep. The girls are better, but not that much better. One is always giggling. You can barely understand a word she says because everything is SO funny. She sounds like Minnie Mouse on the speaker. Definitely could use someone cracking the whip over there. read more

Do not leave the drive-through without checking your order because it will be wrong. I went in there yesterday and my husband ordered a sandwich and fries and my son got a happy meal so they decided to put all of the food in the happy meal box?! What the, huh lol. Ice cream machine is always "broke", go figure. They are only open until 10 pm which is a BIG let down because then you have to drive all the way to Wilmington to get a Big Mac. The service is hit or miss depending on the day. On the positives, their breakfast is great for hangovers and pretty cheap. read more

I drove across town thinking this mc Donald's was open because it clearly stated online there hours were open until 11pm all weekdays i arrived at 1030 I sat at the screen for a few minutes waiting for an awnser and Diddnt get one so I drove up to the window where an employee saw me and he walked into the back leaving me at the window I sat there for about 5 more minutes until the same guy came back and decided to tell me were closed after me sitting there for almost 10 minutes total time and I told him they have there hour posted online until 11 pm . They said that doesn't start until next month ? Why would you post hours for the next month when those are not you current hours and all I wanted to purchase was a coke I wish they could have just told me this when I pulled up instead of running into the back prentending like I Diddnt see them read more

Better than an average McDonald's because of the comfy couches and coffee tables. Unfortunately, no play area.

I took a star off because they have drive through spots where people with bigger orders can pull up so others can get their food but it's never used! Some of the service is friendly, some just scowl and hand you your food. Fries have been put in the bag upside down and the sausage burrito's come out not wrapped all the way and thrown in the bag. If they are wrapped and you open them it falls apart at both ends and most of the food is at one end and nothing at the top. I have actually had it come apart and dump out the bottom. I have also had a sausage burrito completely frozen and had to bring it back in to be cooked. They really need a lesson on how to cook and wrap their food. The Shorewood Illinois location can give a great lesson on customer service with a smile and how to prepare a sausage burrito. Every time they come out perfect, evenly distributed food, hot, and wrapped tightly on both ends and this location has a double lane drive through where Braidwood does not. read more
