Amazing food and great service! Wings and sandwiches were delicious! We came in a Wednesday and there wasn't a big crowd but it was steady.

Today was my 5th visit to Roosty's at the Ottawa location. Every, single time I've visited Roosty's, I was greeted by a super friendly and professional. Every item of every order has been OUTSTANDING ! Their wings have consistently been huge, juicy, perfectly cooked and outrageously delicious. Their coleslaw is obviously homemade, perfectly seasoned, super crunchy and fresh. Their sauces ? Freaking FANTASTIC. Their shakes are thick, and taste like they were made in your Gramma's kitchen. Their seasoned fries rival any we have had anywhere else. Their prices are worth every penny for the quality, size, portions they provide. I'd give them 100 Stars, if I could ! If you've never been, you need to go ! You won't be disappointed ! read more

Their chicken was good here and the place was clean, plenty of seating. I would definitely come back.

Flavor is good. Chicken is juicy. However, the size of the chicken has gotten substantially smaller. See recent pic. No chicken showing. I came for the Lent fish...no seasoning whatsoever. No salt either. We waited a very long time for our order, and then they shorted us 2 tenders. read more

First time here and came because I had a family member tell me it was amazing. Definitely was not.... Chicken didn't have much flavor, the only thing that was really good was the fries. And the bone in was better than the boneless. Parmesan garlic was good, not a fan of the bbq (just regular) and teriyaki was ok. Would definitely choose canes chicken over this. read more

Worst service ever! Order took over 35 minutes!!! Better to place order online and pick up then to go there and wait. Owner/Manager didn't seem to care at all! read more

Food is good but the online ordering sucks. Everytime I do it (or other people do) the wait is far longer than stated. 15 minutes should be 15 minutes. Not 30-35. Please fix this. So many people sitting around waiting on orders. read more

No chopped and formed chicken here. Very tasty and fresh. The staff is very friendly. Got meals to go and was definitely a hit at home. The establishment is very clean and pristine. read more

Stopped in for a late lunch or early dinner with V. Again, we each got the three piece chicken tender meal. I was much more impressed by the seasoned fries this go around. They don't need anything, just eat them up YUM. read more

I had one of the tenders from yesterday that I reheated in my air fryer. The breading was just as crispy and the meat as tender. Roost's has a thumbs up! read more

Roosty's Chicken n Shakes - Chicken Tender Combo - Chicken Wings Near Me - Minooka, Illinois

The best chicken sandwich i ever had the nashville hot. Little expensive but it was worth it. Awesome food

The restaurant is brand new. We came in for lunch and I thought I would get tenders since they're usually a perfect size for lunch. These tenders were so large! I ate one with some fries and took the rest home. My wife had the signature chicken sandwich and she said it was perfect! The people working here are very friendly and keeping up with a large demand. The restaurant is very nice, bright, and spicy. I did have to ask someone to wipe my table down which they did but I had to finish it because he didn't clean it well. He then walked past two more dirty tables. I'm sure he will get it down. Maybe he is new. He was receptive to me asking him for his cleaning rag so I could wipe the table down. He is a good kid. Come check these guys out! read more

Very good chicken, nice and juicy. The sauce was very tasty. The staff was friendly. Did not take very long to wait for our order.

Their tender pieces have shrunk considerably since opening. Considerably. Back a year ago two people couldn't finish a 3 piece. Now they're tiny. read more

New spot !! Opened a few wks ago and got to check this place out today! Made sure we got there close to opening to avoid a rush . You order and then wait - you have option of chicken sandwiches, tender and wings ! I got the 3 piece tenders w roost sauce , loved the crisp and juiciness of the chicken and the sauce was good. Roosty sauce was flavor of ketchup and mayo with seasonings, I enjoyed. These tenders are large , I ate 2/3 of them and felt full. Hubby got the hot chicken sandwich meal, he would have like it w hot sauce but the flavor was perfect. The heat was within the sandwich not an actual hot sauce as he prefers . The chicken was tender and juicy on sandwich as well served with fries which were crispy and seasoned . We will be back to try the wings ! Glad we got there early as it didn't get busy once we ordered. Hopefully this local spot stays busy . Chill vibe , very casual inside . read more

Just tried out the new Roost's Chicken restaurant in Ottaws.Il. we thought maybe a local version of raisin' Canes chicken fingers type of place. This is an old dunkin' donuts that has been repurposed for this use. We used the drive thru and order 2 3 chicken tender meals that included seasoned fries and a pepsi. 29.50$ with tax(more expensive than Canes, chick fil a or any fast food of any kind that I have ever had. The portions are generous, and fresh, but the overall taste was just very bland, we got the regular not nashville hot. The seasoned fries were just limp and not crispy, and lacked any flavor at all, when ordering we asked for ketchup for the fries but we received none. We had a vdry small cup of ranch and honey mustard, any more and you have to pay extra. It would of been nice to have side of coleslaw with the meal but it was 3.50 extra so we passed on that. The chicken tender portions looked good and we mostly large in size but the breading and the chicken itself was just tasteless. This is very expensive fast food that is way out of line for the quality of the food and thd price of tastier competiters in this market area(Culvers, KFC,McDonalds, soon Chipotle.) I wish the business no ill will but we will not return here and I predict that with the extravagent prices that this will be a short lived venture in Ottawa, Il. read more

Service was fine, wasn't a dine in experience but the lady at the register was nice. I got the chicken sandwich with the hot chicken and loaded fries. Chicken was very good! The breading was amazing and it was very juicy. If you like spicy the hot chicken had a lot of flavor and the Roosty sauce brings down the heat a bit. Very happy with the food. The restaurant was also very clean and had a lot of space. Very cool little tip jar. Will be coming back and recommend this place for sure. read more

We've heard about this place via Facebook and it didn't disappoint. I had the #2. It's a little messy so have at least 10 napkins ready to go. The fries are Cajun style but taste better with ketchup. The kids had the nuggets with no complaints. The staff is super friendly. If we find ourselves back in Minooka, we'll stop here again. read more

This chicken is soooo dang good! If you haven't tried it , please do! You won't regret it.

I love this place. I always get the tenders. They do reheat in the air fryer nicely. I always have leftovers because the tenders are HUGE! read more

Tried roostys out for the first time. Employees from my work were talking about how good their sandwiches are. Walking in it's very inviting and the menu is easy to navigate. Order the hot chicken sandwich. This is a fried chicken sandwich Nashville style with slaw on it. The sandwich was amazing!!!! Fries were good seasoned fry and everything was fresh and cooked to order. Definitely will be back wish they were closer to my work so we could grab a sandwich at lunch! read more

This place is so good. Chicken is cooked perfectly. Portions are enormous, sauces are delicious. Orded Too much had enough for another meal. We couldn't get over how the staff was constantly cleaning. Very impressive. We will be back often! read more

phenomenal food!! always great service.. definitely worth your buck. fills you up really good.

well it was my first time there. I def wouldn't recommend it. I ordered the chicken sandwich! the piece of chicken was half the size of the bun. For $15 you'd think it would actually be a full sandwich. the chicken itself was good. the fries were ok! nothing special. read more

Roosty's chicken sandwich is very tasty. The chicken is breaded and cooked to order, not sitting under heat lamps. Fries are good also

Yet another one-and-done influencer trap, if anything. Not sure why the inside smelled like old fish oil upon entering either. I found this absolutely strange, considering there are zero seafood items on their menu. Ordered a 'wings & things' meal (w/ my choices of garlic parm wings & honey mustard/ranch on side for tenders) and a 'messy sandwich' a la carte. First off, the garlic parm sauce tasted more like 'lemon parm' if that even is a thing, which I found disappointing. The wings themselves were fine but nothing to write home about. The tenders packed a sizeable amount of meat on the inside, but had practically the stalest crunch I've ever tasted!! These were a miss, especially considering that the breading makes or breaks a good tender. And there was nothing messy about the 'messy sandwich' whatsoever! Just a basic chicken breast w/ pickles and a thousand island-esque mayo. I believe it was supposed to come with mac on top (which I did not receive) but even that wouldn't have saved it at this point. And don't even get me started on the fries; they were basically Checkers but slimmer and were old on top of that! The only thing that was decent, however, was the Oreo shake. $30 out the window for 4 wings, 2 tenders, a sandwich, fries and shake. I guarantee you could get all this at Popeyes for half the price. read more

Great food!! Also great traditional wings and the Roosty's original chicken sandwich taste better than Chic Fila.

Service was terrible! Waited 22 minutes for an Oreo milkshake that tasted like milk! No Oreo and no flavor it was melted just like drinking a regular glass of milk. read more

Went Sunday after grandson graduated. Ordered tenders-huge and very good. Husband ordered the traditional wings also very good. Employees were very nice and the service was quick will go back again read more

One of the best Nashville hot chicken sandwiches in the area!! The tenders were great too!
