I placed an order for delivery at 10:54 am and got notification that my order was set for delivery by Jimmy Johns through Uber. The ETA for delivery was 12pm. Right at 12pm when the Uber driver arrived at the store Jimmy John's cancelled my order and I got a text notification to call the store. I called to ask what happened and they said they did not want my order to deliver via 3rd party and that a driver will bring my food out. Through the App the wife and I have been ordering around 10 sandwich meals a week. She has health issues and the convenience of the app , restaurant being close by and having food both of us loved made it easy. However I just found out that Jimmy Johns is a huge donator to Trump and the Republican party. I cannot and will not have the money I spend go to politicians who push hate and division.. I got a jalapeño wrap and this young man, Zach, made multiple mistakes. First off, there were very few ingredients in it. It was like biting into a rolled up tortilla. When I finally got to the lettuce, jalapeños and other toppings, it was sloppy and thrown together in a way that each bite was a different ingredient rather than a blend. I've given this place numerous tries, and I'm gonna just have to call it quits. Todays episode, repeating my order three times ( always a favorite). I get to the window and she asks if I'm a rewards member. Yes. I give her the only number I have- and have used in the past. She can't find it. She asks me twice more if there's another number, which I reply, that's the only one I use and I'm not sure why it isn't working for you, but it's fine, I'll just take the order. I asked for extra turkey, yet it doesn't seem like there's much more than usual. Ordered via phone app and had it delivered. We received our sandwiches and there was a greenish gray substance on the outside of the cheese on both sandwiches that looked like mold. We tried to call the store and it was constantly a busy signal. My husband brought the sandwiches to the store and requested a refund. We do not want new sandwiches made, we've lost out appetite! He was told it would take a couple of weeks to get refunded. This is unacceptable. Something about the driver already being cashed out? That makes NO sense! When I called the first time I was put on hold , second time we called we were told the driver was out then the third and final attempt to get an update the manager told me the driver wouldn't be here for at least 25-30 minutes and our food was not made yet. Ordered online for delivery. Waited 45 minutes for delivery and it was a partial order. Driver said the only way to get the rest of the order is to call the store and let them know. I handed bag back to driver and said when the order is complete have it delivered. Received a call from the store, manager stated the driver said I threw the food at her and she will not come back. Only option is pick up. I canceled the order. Management says there is no one else to deliver it. They said they will let corporate know. They believe a lying employee. I love Jimmy John's. My favorite fast food. This location is super slow (especially delivery). But the biggest disappointment I have is they are much skimpier on their food than other locations. I'd so like to patronize this store, but it won't be on our "short list" anymore. read more

I ordered two little john sandwiches and the sign by the register read "$3". I was charged $3.50 per sandwich. When I asked why I was charged more, Meghan (manager) said that was an "old sign" and the sandwiches are more now. I said you'll need to take down that signage because it's against the law to advertise one price and charge customers another price. She said she couldn't do that because "corporate" won't allow them to take it down and the "pricing is loaded into the system" and they cannot override it. I left voice mail messages with the Austin (they said was the owner) 815-529-3312 and no return calls to discuss this. My credit card company reversed the charges and unfortunately I will not frequent this restaurant any longer. read more

This particular Jimmy John's is a great location. It is relocated from their old spot around the corner with the fantastic addition of the drive-through. In store or at the drive-through you are always greeted promptly and in a friendly way. Sandwiches are finished nearly by the time they are done swiping your card, and the sandwiches always taste consistently fresh and delicious. They are even accommodating to my family's annoying special order requests. read more

Every time I order delivery from this Jimmy Johns, at least one thing Is wrong with my order. This time there was no cucumber on my #6, and the lid to my drink was cracked in two spots, so it spilt on my clothes when the delivery driver handed it to me. I have worked at 5 different Jimmy John's stores in the past, so I know how sandwiches should be made, and this store always disappoints. I don't understand how corporate allows this to happen. We were here this past weekend and I tried the pre-order online so I could just walk in and grab the subs and avoid any lines. However, the tracker that they have online NEVER worked. It kept showing as received, and never transferred over to ready for pick-up. I have ordered plenty of times from other restaurants that have the tracker and they always switch over to ready when the items are ready for pick-up. Easy-Peasy. Since it wasn't switched over, I waited with my daughter in the car for about 15 minutes (giving them the benefit of the doubt) and then we walked in. To my surprise.... Only to get up there and say "I placed an order online and they just had them sitting in the back. They never placed my order on the shelf, never updated their system to show ready for pick up. Nothing. Good thing it wasn't anything hot. Now while that was an inconvenience that wasn't the only mistake we encountered. All of the subs were OVERLOADED with lettuce, and NONE of the subs asked to be made that way. Now after we were done eating I was curious to see what the tracker stated. I mean I picked up my food. It should change, right? Or one would think it would. I have to say It was a good thing we went in there to see if our order was ready because when I checked the app it still was showing as received. I placed the order around 4:15 and even still after 5:00pm it was just showing as order received. Very disappointed in this Jimmy Johns after this experience. read more
