    Walleye

Of course you know this is a chain so it is what it is BUT, they have walleye now (temporarily). The servings are HUGE!! They are very good and you need them in your life! Get a side of cheese curds. You're welcome!

    Wrong salad no grilled chicken

Don't ever go to the Culvers in Minooka, Illinois off of Ridge Road. They are such rude people and mess up your order everytime! My girlfriend order a grilled chicken salad and she didn't get it. We went back through the drive through and they tried charging us twice for their wrong doing!! On top of everything the manager(which was a high schooler) gave us attitude and slammed the window on us and didn't want to help at all!! Stay away, will never go there again!!

Its a Culvers and it's a chain but that doesn't necessarily mean all Culvers are created equal. I must say no real issues at this Culver's. Always polite staff, never have a long wait, food is always accounted for hot and fresh. There is not much more you can ask for. Love the Chicken Tenders, Wisconsin Swiss Melt, Walleye Sandwich (when in season)Cod Sandwich, Stuffed Green Pepper Soup, and obviously the Frozen Custard. Love the Concrete mixers, shakes, and malts. Just to name a few. People like the cheese curds I'm kind of meh..it depends if they are hot and fresh. Great Culver's keep up the good work!

I never thought I would be disappointed with a Culver's restaurant, but I was with this one. I came in to order take-out for the family, and I was excited to get the Pretzel Haus Pub Burger that I have enjoyed before at other Culver's locations. NOT HERE, unfortunately! The restaurant was slow and the staff was busy chatting with each other. The beverage area was messy and poorly stocked. I got home and opened my burger and this what I saw. What a disappointment! I figured it was a fluke and I wanted the restaurant owner to know so it wouldn't happen again. So, I got on the website and attempted to post my experience. The process of doing this was stupid and the website wouldn't find this restaurant in its search. My post was never even acknowledged by anyone. I was just trying to help because I enjoy Culver's and this location is in my new hometown. I guess I'll have to go to Culver's in neighboring towns from now on.

Thank goodness for the food runner refilling drinks & removing dirty dishes because the waitress was absolutely AWFUL (even after asking for refills we didn't get them). The food wasn't as good as the 1st visit either. We had burnt sandwiches & dry fish. Our first visit was after lunch rush, my suggestion is to go at an office peak time. The owners should seriously think about providing some training for the waitstaff to get them up to par on successfully doing their job

Hot and fresh. Only problem is that the cheese sauce has a film and was like water. It was scorching hot though. The burger was good sized, hot, and juicy. I wish that they offered to cook it to a temp other than mid-well. Over all, this place is fine. Nothing fancy, you get what you pay for. If I were in town again, I'd stop in again. Just a note. They charge a 3% surcharge if you pay by credit card. It's not noted anywhere with signage. It's not on the menu in fine print. It shows up on your bill. I've heard people say that "if you can't afford to tip, don't eat out. Well if you have to charge people a surcharge to pay by credit card, then don't open a restaurant. If you are going to do that, then post it on the menu and at the front counter so people know.

Today we ordered a maple bacon milkshake, peanut butter milkshake, 1/4 pound grilled cheese burger on toast, 1/2 pound New Orleans burger and a shareable basket of parmesan truffle fries. Let's start with the positives, the shakes were well made and not overwhelmingly sweet and we liked that a lot. My husband's 1/2 pound burger seemed a little small and my grilled cheese burger said it would be on Texas toast but it seemed like it was sourdough bread and not really thick cut like Texas toast should be. I was looking forward to eating here because the pictures of the fries online looked long and thick cut, the basket of fries we got didn't look like that at all and lacked Parmesan cheese. The negative experience was the fact the water tasted weird. I took one sip and tasted a weird chemical taste but my husband and I didn't complain, we just paid and left. I don't know if it was the water or the cup but it definitely had a weird taste. Overall, the experience was ok. I think we had higher expectations seeing all the pictures online. The name of the place threw us both off because we thought it was a Latino owned burger joint with a Mexican twist but that wasn't the case at all.

"The…read moreHideout" is aptly named because it's hidden behind the façade of an American Legion Post and flies beneath the radar of folks from out-of-town. But the public is welcome, and it's high time to share this local treasure on Yelp! Oh, this joint is nuttin' fancy. The Post decided to increase its visibility by putting a small sign on the outside of the building. Period. There is a large front room with a bar, and a few steps up is a spacious meeting hall suitable for groups and private parties. Gaming is between the two rooms. The décor (what décor?) is plain-plain but the vibe is friendly and festive. The recently-expanded menu features diner fare and pub grub with a smattering of Mexican and Cajun items. We dined with a group of friends and passed around a few apps. The crawfish soup earned thumbs-up, ditto the colossal batter-dipped onion rings and piquant fried pickles. I had a BBQ brisket wrap; it was bursting with possibly more than 8 oz. of tender and juicy smoked brisket. A red smoke ring was visible and the sauce was just right. My Missus said her burger, served on a rich brioche bun, was exceptional. Portions are huge and the down-to-earth prices include one side. There are several sides to pick from. I had the tangy but overdressed coleslaw. There are two pasta entrées on the menu - "Cajun" and "Alfredo." The "Cajun" turned out to be Alfredo pasta topped with diced tomatoes. Apart from that one dud, which was sent back to the kitchen, the food, service and value exceeded our expectations. Of note, dessert and coffee are not served here (but there's a Dunkin nearby). We gotta return for a Friday fish fry.
