PERFECT medium-rare Cuban burger added grilled onions
    Joan S.

I am shocked this place doesn't have more reviews. We ordered the Cuban sandwich and they were both cooked to perfection. It has ham off the bone, fried egg, pepper jack cheese, bacon, and a grilled pineapple slice. Comes with one side. We chose the cream of chicken rice soup. It was SO good!!! The burger was huge and delicious. Service was great. Soft drinks are only $2. I brought half home for hubby and he loved it too. Will return and add more pics.

Pub grub and no frills locale. Pretty typical for a Morris eatery. Food and service were in line with expectations.

We had the monster bloody mary with awesome appetizers, but the bone-in wings are the best! Great food and service.

We enjoyed generous portions, good home-cooked food, and clean bathrooms, but were disappointed there was no coffee.

There's so much to look at everywhere you turn, it's easy to lose track of time just taking it all in. I loved all the little details, like the spools of thread on the light fixtures and the bed headboard used as a railing. The mix of antiques, vintage cloth, and bright, colorful decor makes the whole space feel fun, classic, and full of charm. The food was amazing. The pastries were so soft and delicious--they really do melt in your mouth. The main entrées were just as good--full of flavor and perfectly portioned, leaving you satisfied without feeling too full. The tea was served so nicely and made the whole experience feel extra special. The service was just as great. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and quick. They knew the menu well, gave great recommendations, and were happy to help with any special requests. Overall, it's a beautiful and relaxing place to enjoy good food and tea. Definitely a five-star experience!

A couple kinds of French toast. Scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, country fried steak, bacon, ham, corned beef hash, lots of potato casseroles, waffles, two kids of French toast...it just goes on and on. And then you have a full salad area with fresh fruit !! Oh and did I mention an entire buffet of pastries? Donuts, cinnamon rolls, danishes, muffins. It just kept going !!! Everything was fresh and replenished and delicious. The only thing I'd pass on was the Bloody Mary bar. Not a lot of stuffs. Cold chicken nuggets, bacon, green olives, some sad pickle spears, lemon wedges, celery, kielbasa, that was pretty much it. Would Have like to have seen cheese cubes or maybe some shrimp. But it was not bad, just nothing to write home about. All in all for 20.00 a person for food (I don't remember what the bloody bar was) it was a good deal. And they do it daily, not just on the weekends!!!

There was so much mozzarella (it should be an accent not a big goofy blob) I couldn't eat it. The waitress started to take my bowl away and I explained (she didn't bother to ask) that I couldn't eat it because it was so salty. She said oh sorry about that. That was all. Then the food.... eggplant parmesan. The eggplant was so thick and heavy and extremely greasy. Red pasta sauce tasted like unseasoned tomato goop. The noodles were cold and under cooked. The whole thing was smothered in goopy mozzarella. It was awful. I only.took a few bites and couldn't eat it. My son got the manicotti. He said the same about the sauce (we both have bad heartburn from it) and he said the inside of the manicotti didn't taste like anything and the filling was runny, not firm. He said it was gross. Our waitress never offered to fill our drinks. We were not offered any dessert, not that we would have eaten any. The bill was $90 before tip. We were royally screwed. It was disgusting and I'll never go back.

The server was friendly and attentive, and that's where anything positive stopped. The Gaucho skillet advertises it coming with scrambled eggs and guacamole; there was 1 tsp (literally) of guacamole and the scrambled eggs looked to have been poured in with large cubed potatoes, which were deep fried. There was little egg and it was all a thin film. The French onion soup was a bowl loaded with raw onions and water; the onions were in no way cooked the correct length of time and the broth was flavorless because of this. Our waitress disappeared for quite some time before we asked for our check. We sat for 15 min and I went up to the counter to ask to pay. Then I realized our waitress had been told to go to lunch. I think it was a miscommunication with the staff or they just forgot to cash us out before letting her go on break. The cashier was apologetic and brought us our carryout order. Then she gave us our check right away. They handled it well and we were happy overall. It's a huge place and nice and quiet. We liked the menu's variety and service.
