The restaurant is clean and well decorated. Nothing fancy but pretty. The servers are good, quick and friendly. The food; two of the dishes just rocked. They were so delicious. The tamales were thick but pretty much all masa. They had ok flavor but they were not as good as they looked. I will visit here again bc I think their other plates will also be really good. Soooo...we went there because of the great reviews. This was on July 3rd at 5PM. We ordered a flight of margaritas. She got the order Wrong five times in a row. We were really afraid of her getting our food order wrong so we left and we have never done that before. read more

Just got a delivery order from here. I had an order of quesabirria tacos. It didn't come with consume (the dipping gravy), even though it was ordered with it. No one on Tik Tok or Instagram will ever brag about their dry quesabirria tacos, so I'm not going to either. As delivered it was meh. Also, ordered a chicken Chimichangas without tomatoes. Of course it came with tomatoes. Sooooo, didn't love that. They were very fast with their delivery, but this very expensive meal was incorrect and therefore didn't taste very good. I'd have preferred a smidge more of a wait with the correct order and great tasting food. Get delivery at your own risk. read more

The service was amazing, the food came out very fast and the prices were very reasonable. I liked the environment and I like how this places serves alcohol as well. We ordered three different dishes and they were all good. The rice and beans were delicious and the tacos were some of the best I've had in Morris! I've always though Habanero grill is by far the best taco spot in town but this place gives them a run for their money. The carne asada is flavorful and tender, the pastor is too. The T-bone steak was a bit veiny and wasn't the best whisking steak but it was still good. The nopales could have had a bit more chicken and not too much vegetables but overall this place was amazing. 5/5! read more

We were on a drive back from starved rock and decided to grab lunch right off the expressway. This eatery is in a not so attractive looking strip mall but don't let that scare you away. The food here is absolutely phenomenal. My husband and I were seriously impressed. My only wish was that it was closer to home. The tacos and carne asada were some of the best I've had. I live an hour and a half from here. Stopped in cus it was one of the only Mexican spots near by and oh myyy gooooddness.....come here now. I got one of their signature dishes called El Molcajete. It's an authentic Mexican dish made with steak, chicken, shrimps, Poblano peppers, cebollitas, nopal in an amazing Ranchero sauce....with melted monterrey cheese on top. Mmmmm. So good. We had a group of 8, without reservations, and got seated immediately. The server was very friendly and efficient. Out party had tacos, quesadillas, taco salads, Lengua tacos, and quesobirrias. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. The fresh guacamole mexicanos was a very large portion and made fresh to order. The salsa was smooth and tasty, with just a little kick of heat, but not too hot. The quesobirrias were some of the best I've had. They were seasoned well and had crispy shells. They recycle the chips, last time we ate here they brought us a basket of chips and under the first chip was a huge wad of hair, it looked like someone literally cleaned their brush and they served that to us - if they recycle the free chips you know they also recycle the salsa - place is disgusting will never eat there again. read more

This place was absolutely amazing. It doesn't look like much, but the food is made with love! Everything was fresh, flavorful and tasted homemade. I am not a Mexican food expert, but my son-in-laws family comes from Mexico and so I have tasted authentic food from the northern regions. I got the Chile Colorado and it was the best I have ever eaten. The server was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend. The only negative I have to write is that we were only passing through the area and live over 1000 miles away. :( read more

This recently opened restaurant is clean, bright, presents an extensive menu along with providing friendly and quick service. I had the steak and chicken fajitas and my wife had enchiladas. The fajita was excellent, flavorful, with plenty of sides and large enough to feed 2 people. The enchiladas were also very good. I highly recommend that you try this new restaurant. The wife and I stopped here for dinner and a drink. We sat at the bar and I ordered a Grande Modelo Michelada and the wife, a Corona Premier. I've had several Micheladas in the past since we live in Arizona during the winter and it was the best. I ordered tacos and the wife ordered chicken quesadillas. The food is authentic and excellent. The service was great and the prices are reasonable. We hadn't been here since they remodeled and have new owners and the place looks fantastic. In the Morris area, there are several Mexican food options available. All of them are above average. La Casa Michoacana is the newest addition and in my opinion, the best of them all. I've not tasted Mexican food this outstanding since I lived in Texas. Everything is a gourmet version of what you are use to. If you're into fish bowl sized margaritas, they have them too.
