The place itself and the bathrooms are kept very clean and I loved the decor inside. The staff are amazing - very friendly and caring. They made me feel at home and were attentive to our needs. I even saw another customer drop by and hugged most of the staff here, so you can tell they are great people who take care of their customers. Now, as for the food...everything was DELICIOUS! We were very impressed with the pretty large menu with tons of options which honestly made it difficult to choose what to order because everything sounded so good! One of the cooks recommended we try the chips with queso, which were great! I tried the huarache with carne asada and a sope with al pastor. The portions are definitely generous, so I was not able to finish everything. The food is fresh and tasty. We ended our meal with the fried ice cream and churros as dessert which were also delicious. Definitely went into a food coma after this meal, but it was well worth it. Highly recommend stopping by here for some authentic Mexican food if you're in the area or driving by!

It is somewhat of a hole-in-the-wall and could be hard to miss driving by without directions, but the food was delicious! You order at the counter from a wide selection of options on the menu and there are several tables for eating in or you can order it to go. We got chips and salsa for an appetizer and they were not the best. The chips were overly crunchy and the salsa tasted pretty bland. This was the main reason we gave less than 5 stars. They did bring out a spicy salsa and medium salsa verde in squeeze bottles, which we tried mixing into the salsa to give it more heat but it didn't mix well. lol! My son got the beef taco salad, my other son got three beef tacos (on special on Mondays!), my husband got a chicken burrito plate, and I got the shrimp fajitas. They were all generous portions and tasted great! Definitely check it out if you find yourself in Morris, IL!

I've had fish tacos in this region before, and I've always been disappointed. However, Dos Amigos provides the freshest food I've had with an authentic taste of Mexico added. They handmake their salsa and chips every single day. The fish in their tacos is tilapia, slightly breaded and crunchy, yet soft and firm. I should have taken a picture, but I devoured them so quick ! I highly recommend this restaurant. The table was dirty and the chairs were sticky. They brought our food. My friend's tacos had no tomatoes, no onions, and only two of them had cheese. The last one did not. My burrito had absolutely nothing on it except for the meat and lettuce. No sour cream, no cheese, no tomatoes, no onions. I pointed this out and asked them to either refund my money or make me a proper one. He said they would make me another one and he brought it out. It had meat, lettuce, a little sour cream, and two little squares of tomato placed strategically at the opening of either half. Still no cheese, still no onion and no other tomato other than the two little squares. I didn't feel like dealing with it again, so I just took it.
