We've been here before for their Friday Fish Fry (which is excellent), so we were looking forward to trying something different. I ordered the Mudbugs (crawfish) only, while my wife ordered the combo with Mudbugs and Meatloaf. The underlying motivation? She doesn't eat Mudbugs -- so I knew I'd be getting a bonus portion. The Mudbugs were cooked from live crawfish and seasoned with a classic Cajun blend. They varied in size but were served in generous one-pound portions. The flavor was fresh, well-seasoned, and exactly what you'd hope for in a good boil. Now, the real surprise was the Meatloaf. My wife loves Meatloaf but is extremely picky about it. I can honestly say she loved this one. After trying a bite myself, I agreed completely. It had a rich, beefy flavor, was moist throughout, and the ends had that perfect crunchy outer crust -- which is always the best part. We also ordered the Jalapeño Poppers. They had a nice crunchy exterior, and the pepper and cream cheese filling was creamy without being overcooked -- a solid appetizer choice. Top Fuel has that fun, laid-back dive bar atmosphere with lots of friendly people just enjoying themselves. It's comfortable, welcoming, and easy to settle in for a while. We'll definitely be back soon.

I think mostly, but it's not as bad as most other fast food places. There is such a thing as a "Big Mac Attack". I get them on occasion, and they taste exactly as they have for the 40 or 50 years I've been getting them. EXACTLY. So how can I give it less than 5 stars? I will say that after having tasted french fries from literally everywhere, I can truthfully say that no fries are better as a quick snack on a trip. Large order, small Coke, turn on some tunes, drive. The Morris location is clean (when I go in), the drive through is fast 95% of the time.

Waited 15 more minutes for them to reorder the meal. I was told by an employee that she would get back to me after she delivered another 2 drive up customers. 55 minutes later I asked for my money back Since I didn't get my food. Yes, they were busy and order mixups can happen but, I feel, the employees didn't have a clue about their job. Another patron ordered on the app and was waiting over 15 minutes before I walked in. He told me this is normal for Coal City. He said Braidwood was not much better but Wilmington was good (they knew what they were doing).

Polk-A-Dot is one of the few happening places in Braidwood it seems. A long time favorite of the people who live here. The walls are chock full of memorabilia and miscellaneous stuff that was at one time someone else's junk, and became this place's treasures. As expected, ice cream is the main thing to get. It's unfortunate they're always out of lots of items. There's already not a whole lot of variety. A pretty basic looking menu. There's the hot items including the burgers and hot dogs, along with fries and other sides. Basically we came more for the experience. She got one of the cones, which is about $3 or so. Limited flavors. The last time they only had vanilla. It's about $5 to get the fries and slaw combo. Probably about the only thing that isn't meaty. Basically the memorabilia was more interesting. They appropriately have a Grease poster, along with old timey things like jukeboxes on tables. Outside they have figures you can pose with including James Dean, Elvis, and Marilyn Monroe. This is a cool way to have fun for a few minutes or something. Best thing is the experience to be honest. It's located on Front Street by the tracks. This is one of the few ice cream places that's open even in winter.
