Tyler was a marvelous server! We were greeted right away and made feel welcome. We were in the area and ravenous. I found this place doing a Google search and the name of this place intrigued me. I saw the Lincoln Logs (mozzarella sticks hahaha) on the menu and said WE MUST GO HERE! The Lincoln decor is quite funny. It is a decent sized sports bar and restaurant. I really liked the atmosphere. Monday night football was on in the bar on big screens. We were so so hungry you could have put a plate of sawdust in front of us and we would eat it. Ha. The mozzarella sticks are very good. My mother inhaled the cup of beer cheese soup. I was pleased to see her eat it so fast. I got to taste it and it was good. She got a 1/4 lb cheeseburger which was on special for $10 including a side. I got the shrimp appetizer which was just ok. They came out crispy and hot. Tyler is definitely the one who made our visit enjoyable. He checked on us frequently and was so polite. I wouldn't coming back here to try their grilled cheese.

Homemade cookie-cake. Yum.

Very good bar-restaurant of old school design and atmosphere. The kind of place that is everyone's favorite casual pub-restaurant for a great cheeseburger, craft beers on tap, and a dessert. Wait staff was very nice. Personable.

Thank you for taking our Jeep party at such short notice! Amazing service, really good food. Great prices for large quantities of food. Everyone enjoyed everything & highly recommend them. Thank you again.

Chicken Tender/ Buffalo chicken sandwich

The server did a great job... the beer soup was fine..... who serves a breaded pork patty as a Pork tenderloin... they didn't do the process right because the crust of the patty had fallen off on my plate. The bun was perfect but the patty.... Not so good.... Waffle fries were plentiful but served cold. The fried BUFFALO chicken sandwich... two chicken tenders on a hoagie bun.... Seriously NOT good! Fries were the bottom of the bag or #2 fries...Honest Abe's, honestly once was more than enough....

Beer cheese soup delicious

I like the variety on their menu. Service was friendly, food was fast! Restaurant has plenty of seating. My beer cheese soup was delicious. Perfect consistency. I also liked the southwest egg roles. My grandparents got a salad and it was ginormous with plenty of toppings. The presentation was fantastic. Great stop for anyone in the area!

Both 1/2 burgers. The Houston and the Mason Dixon.

The food was good, however, not a value for your dollar. I seldom comment on the cost at any establishment, but need to call this one out. Starts at the door. Clearly posted, a sorry ... but all credit card transactions will incur a 4% charge. Parking is ample. Exterior and dining area clutter free and clean. Seat yourself. Sat a few minutes before being acknowledged. (Personal gripe) Waitress pleasant and took drink orders first. Warning... menu is complicated. Specializes in varied burgers and they have SEVERAL. I opted for a burger and an upgrade to a salad. $1.25 charge. Food arrived. Salad served cold and crisp. Dressing in a single disposable cup very modest portion, I made due. Burgers arrive. Mine less any fries. Surprised, but waitress explains the upgrade to a salad voids the fries. Hmmm. So an order of fries and $1.25 is equal to this modest salad ? Felt slighted. Overall tasty, but the $42 for two burgers, 2 beers and a Pepsi seems a tad bit high in my estimation. Even though it was a $2 beer night. Generally, this would have a doggie bag, barely left a crumb. Overall portions and above mentioned salad substitution felt skimpy to the consumer. Sad. Seemed like a nice place.

Tin Roof is one of those unassuming places that most people just pass up. For sure it's not fancy. You might be able to catch live music. Cheap and rustic is an accurate way to talk about this bar. It's located outside a small town on the way to Starved Rock. The inside is bigger than it looks and apparently is a great place to listen to local bands or whoever. However most come to get boozed up and complain. It's about $5 for a basic mixer. Whiskey and whatever. Food is also pretty basic. Mostly fried things. It's about $5 to get a basket of Pretzel Bites. These are great to munch on between sips. Food menu is pretty uninteresting to be honest. There's also other fried things like jalapeño poppers and mini tacos. Got a few cheap cocktails and okay munchies out of it. It's located on Route 34 a bit west of Somonauk. The food here actually is shitty but whatever.

The vibe on a Friday or Saturday night is high energy, happening, and buzzing with lots of the friendly locals of the Joliet area. All of the bartenders are amazingly FUN, FRIENDLY, and quite TALENTED. Especially my main go to bartender named "Danny". Everyone loves Danny, he's the best and the nicest guy ever. Come for the music played via "YouTube" music videos played on a big flat screen TV by request of the customers, the AMAZING HANDMADE CRAFT COCKTAILS, GREAT CRAFTY FOOD DISHES, and the overall ambiance of a1920's speakeasy yet situated in somewhat modern times.
