I ordered the Mudbugs (crawfish) only, while my wife ordered the combo with Mudbugs and Meatloaf. The underlying motivation? She doesn't eat Mudbugs -- so I knew I'd be getting a bonus portion. The Mudbugs were cooked from live crawfish and seasoned with a classic Cajun blend. They varied in size but were served in generous one-pound portions. The flavor was fresh, well-seasoned, and exactly what you'd hope for in a good boil. Now, the real surprise was the Meatloaf. My wife loves Meatloaf but is extremely picky about it. I can honestly say she loved this one. After trying a bite myself, I agreed completely. It had a rich, beefy flavor, was moist throughout, and the ends had that perfect crunchy outer crust -- which is always the best part. We also ordered the Jalapeño Poppers. They had a nice crunchy exterior, and the pepper and cream cheese filling was creamy without being overcooked -- a solid appetizer choice.
