The food was over cooked, much more than advertised. When I called in the manager was extremely condescending and had the most arrogant attitude overall. I got upset and ended up going in there. We got into a verbal argument, I told him about how his reviews online say that his customer service is lacking. He's extremely rude and very arrogant to customers and disrespectful. His response was I don't care what anybody writes about me, We have been in business for a long time and we will continue to stay in business whether people like my personality or attitude. I was actually thrown back by this comment and him raising his voice like he was about to get up and try to start a fight. They don't care about your opinions. He also made that very clear. It wouldn't surprise me if this place shuts down in the next year or two after reading all the reviews. I don't even know how this place pays rent on the building with customer service they give out. I've spoke to quite a few people in my neighborhood and around town after the incident and they said they will never order from that place again with that management and ownership that's in there. It's a shame because when you burn bridges in a small town you can get put out of business quick. read more

I'm assuming people don't know what making a deep dish pizza requires lmao.. 45 minute wait wasn't bad just hungout with some friends and talked, they offered drinks and appetizers to pass the time for out pizza. The food was incredible, we ordered the classic Chicago deep dish. I'm from Portland OR and this pizza was if not the best pizza I have ever had plain and simple. 1 slice had me satisfied and we boxed up the other half to take home. Two sweet girls were out waiters and made sure we had everything. Bathrooms were very clean along with the table and restaurant. Owner took a phone order for pickup and wanted to pay cash. Insisted that I provide a cc number to process the order. Put me on hold and never came back to the line. Had to call back. After placing the order, I asked for his name for the order as I always do. Said they don't provide personal information and Insisted calling himself the "order taker" Obviously didn't realize as an owner it's public record. Picking up my order and meeting Salman Hassan I informed him I would never set foot in any of his establishments again. Sal could have cared less. Talk of the town reflects many of the same sentiments. Rude, condescending, and has no people skills whatsoever. If I could only give zero stars. Apparently owns a few Giordanos franchises with his brother Syed. Hopefully his brother appreciates customers a little more. read more

I don't mind paying if the product is fresh and hot. 50 bucks for a large thin crust to be delivered is a little high in my opinion but again, I would be willing to spend more for a quality pizza. After having 3 or 4 great pizzas delivered I have now had 3 pizzas delivered that were barely warm. If the restaurant can't offer hot delivery don't offer the service. Dine in or carry out. Overall condition of establishment. The moving door was like impossible to enter, staff of (4) said it was because of the wind. That's amazing it was a calm night without wind. The service was below average. Kept telling us that the cook is new. Food came out one by one and not in a timely matter to the same table. Over priced for a single order. $50 for an order of pasta, boneless wings, and breadsticks is excessive. Also charged a 4.99 delivery fee plus a 4.00 driver fee. I thought it was up to the purchaser to tip not the owner. I would have tipped more because of my experience with delivering but when you put it in for me I'm not going more. read more

Pizza is always so-so. Tried it a few times. They were close for a while and back open again so we tried it again. Very pricey and pizza still a 6.5 on a scale of 1-10. I think that was because we asked for it to be well done and this made it better. Last time the crust was super soft and chewy. Better pizza places in the area for less $$. Does the Giordano Family know how bad this place is? This tarnishes their legacy. Walked in and nobody was at the host station. Some shady looking guy is half sitting in a booth and playing on his phone. After a solid three minutes, Shady gets his ass up and asks what we need. He seems surprised that we planned on dining in. Great start. Sit down and a nice waitress comes for the drink order. Shady didn't give us a drink menu so she had to retrieve one. Anyway, the waitress came and left three times because they were out of the wine we ordered. Are you kidding me? This IS an Italian restaurant right? How do you not have a basic selection of wine? The menu says you have wine. What moron does the ordering around here? We then ask if they have mixed drinks but are informed that the bartender was new and not good at making drinks. What? Okay. Beer it is. Now came time to order. Wanted a pizza and salad lunch special which runs until 3 pm (per the menu!) but was then informed that management changed the lunch menu to end at 2 pm. Wtf? We had our anniversary party at Giordano's last evening in their party room. Plenty of room, able to decorate early, private area, super friendly server, great pizza, pasta and salad. We are so happy the re-opened. Restaurant is clean and smells a little like heaven when you walk through the door. As a family we have been in there a few times on a Saturday night. I have never made a complaint or bad review in my life. But this was absolutely ridiculous. Thank you to the woman up front who did take $10 off our bill but honestly - we won't come back here. Our family came here for lunch (a group of 10) and I have to say that overall, the food was good. The fried calamari was decent but the lemon rings not so much. We ordered 3 pizzas (1 cheese, 1 deep dish and 1 meat and more). All were fantastic and satisfying. My only knocks on the place is the need to hunt down silverware for our group. Additionally, soon after eating (like a few hours) I got a terrible case of the trots. 7 trips to the toilette over 8 hours. It wasn't just me but also some of my family members. My little niece really got the worst of it and was sent home from school because she kept soiling her diapers badly. I don't know if it was a bad batch of dough or if the cheese was rancid but SOMETHING was in the pizzas that gave all of us the drizzles. Otherwise, the place is clean and the service fast. We only waited 20 mins for our pizzas and they came to our table hot. Loved the easy access bathrooms in the front (the men's room was very clean). I would go back again for sure. read more

First time we have received a bad pizza from Giordano's since they reopened. I ordered a medium extra thin sausage mushroom Green pepper pizza. While it looked good, it was not good at all. The cheese was not that creamy stretchy cheese you expect. It was curdled and not very appealing, chunky. I had to look hard for the green peppers, there was a sprinkling of 1/2 x1/4 inch pieces scattered lightly. There were a few more mushrooms, but were so thin, like paper thin. Sausage was scattered lightly as well, very very small pieces. We ate pizza from there several times since they reopened and it was really good. I spent $47 on a pizza that ended up in the garbage. Food: 5 stars, Online ordering/customer service: 0 stars. Writing this review to save others the headache. After reading a recent review that said calling in to place an order is not a fun/easy experience, I decided to place an order online. The food arrived within the estimated delivery window and was fresh/hot and tasted great; however, after bringing everything inside I noticed the delivery charge had doubled. I then checked my credit card charges and saw a 67.40 charge (the agreed upon price I paid when placing the online order) and an additional 4.54 charge (to account for a more than doubled delivery fee and an extra 3 cents in tax). I called and spoke to a manager the next day and their only explanation is that they are having an 'issue' with the third party ordering system they are using but they assured me the 4.54 charge is not fraud. They said to avoid confusion in the future it's better to call and place the delivery order over the phone. I explained that my frustration is the difference in prices and the apparent bait and switch (if I had known the actual delivery charge was going to be $9 i would have probably just made it a carry out order....my fault for rarely ordering delivery and not realizing how high delivery charges are these days I guess). Then the manager got a little petty and reminded me that someone DID sign the receipt for the 71.94 charge upon delivery and even said 'well, whoever accepted the delivery and signed the receipt signed it right under the total that said 71.94, wait let me look at our copy of the receipt again, ok yeah, it looks like their signature started with an S....' (keep in mind she knew my name at this point and it clearly starts with an S, so I was most likely the person who signed the receipt). I interrupted the pettiness and just explained that at this point I'm just trying to bring this to their attention so that it doesn't happen to anyone else. Clearly I should have noticed the higher charge while receiving my delivery and then done what exactly....argue with the innocent delivery driver instead of just calling the restaurant the next day to handle it? My bad! She did offer to give me a cash refund of the 4.54 if I want to come to the restaurant and claim it. Why they can't just refund my credit card is beyond me. read more

I've tried to call in orders and it's near 7pm almost every time due to our family schedule. We have a large family and always get a lot of food. Lately over the last few months when we call "they can't hear us" and we take our business elsewhere. This has happened multiple times. Tonight I decided to wait a minute and call right back. And someone actually responded to my "I'd like to place an order" As I'm ordering the man kept repeating me before I was done speaking and made sure to say large for 2-3 adults. I asked for clarification and he said one large was enough for 2-3 I had enough for up to 6. I said let me add another pizza then because I'll have 7-8 but if I get all this food and one was enough I'm gonna be mad. He then "can't hear me" twice as I repeated myself. I told him I didn't appreciate how he was handling this call and he immediately became rude and raised his voice a little. I returned with the same energy and he said we are done here and hung up on me. I immediately called back. The same person answered and requested to speak to the manager he then informed me he was the manager! I was like wow! Well this is no way to handle yourself. He said we don't tolerate people accusing us of stuff. I accused you of nothing sir but pointed out I didn't appreciate the way you were handling it. And then to say maybe it was on my end?! That's weird because I had no problem hearing one single thing nor did I have a problem hearing how rude you were! And it's strange that you didn't have any issues hearing me any other time.... Hmmm maybe because you were lying and mad that I was calling you out on your poor customer service and even worse work ethic. If this is management they need to be retrained. Will never return. I had the spinach artichoke and feta pizza and it was great here! The crust is thin and crunchy as it should be (no soggy crusts here!) and the rest of the people at my party got the deep dish- still no soggy crusts, just an excellent pizza! The toppings were very fresh and the deep dish cheese was wonderfully stringy! I'm glad this location is requiring masks when talking to servers even when seated at the table- props for keeping your staff safe! The server was very attentive and excellent with giving us an ETA for when our pizzas would be ready. The location's atmosphere in the restaurant is a delight as well. I would definitely recommend stopping here whether you like thin crust or deep dish! read more

We tried the newly remodeled restaurant. We'll I can say one thing the inside decor wasn't remodeled What has changed is the ownership! HORRIBLE!! This owner should not be operating a franchise pizza establishment. Dined in and pizza took over an hour and the restaurant was not busy. Crust was overdone and burnt in some spots. We told our hostess about it and apologized and she was going to let the owner know. He never came by. We gave it another try this time carryout. They told us 45-50 minutes for 1 large thin. We picked up and brought home , 3 minutes away and the pizza was Luke warm. I called them to tell them about our dilemma. She sincerely apologized but said our new ownership no longer gives a future credit for mistakes that might come abroad. After me telling her my frustration she offered to make me a new pie. This time 25 minutes she said. I went back there early enough to make sure my pizza wasn't waiting in the warmer I asked to talk to the owner who I saw him back in the kitchen. I asked the hostess to speak with him. He declined and said to call him tomorrow when there not busy. REALLY ?? How ignorant. When there's a customer who wants to talk to the ownership to share their experiences and they don't wa t to listen ? Then don't be a restaurant owner. Lastly while waiting for my pie I saw the owner counting the number of pepperoni pieces on someone's pizza. He must of put a few to many as he took some off and put them back in the container! Wow.
