I have lived in the area since about 2005, a freshman in HS. My parents and I never were a fan of the Channahon location, so we have always ordered out from the Minooka location. I moved out of the area when my husband and I got married and a couple of years later we moved back. We live just minutes away from the Channahon location, but only ever order from the Minooka location. We've ordered a couple of times since moving back and the pizza tastes terrible. The crust is chewy and tastes like a saltine cracker without the salt. The cheese is meh and it's just bland. Dough nuggets are bomb, but the pizza just isn't what it used to be. I am embarrassed at what happened when I got my Chief Italian Beef sandwich. I ate that thing like there were diamonds at the bottom of the bread. We are new-ish to the area and have struggled to find a pizza place that compares to our old neighborhood. I have ordered the pizza 3 times now. The first two times I picked it up and the pizza was fine. Satisfactory. The third time (3-4 weeks ago) my husband was working OT and I was home with a sick child. I called in my order and asked for delivery. I was told 45 minutes. 90 minutes later I call and was told they forgot to make it. They told me they'd take $10 off and bring it "right away". 2 hours later my pizza arrived. I assumed they would just comp the pizza since they FORGOT to make it but it wasn't the case. Found myself in Minooka visiting a friend and we had offered to bring pizza on the drive in. This was the closest pizza place to their house, and knowing that Rosati's is pretty solidly delicious, we stopped here. We ordered online and paid online when we were about 30 minutes away so we would be able to just pick up and go. When we arrived, they immediately asked us for a credit card to pay for the order. We showed them two separate receipts indicating we'd already paid online before they stopped asking (like, my friend had to come out, get my phone, and bring it in to show them...). Also, the order hadn't even been started yet. So once we ironed out the payment disaster, we sat there for 20 more minutes while we waited for the food we'd ordered almost an hour ago. I have been ordering pizza's from Rosati's.. and typically have them delivered... I have no problem with $3.00 delivery fee. but out of the blue with I request extra sauce.. now is additional fifty cents.. seriously... out they that desperate for fifty cents.. sad. these doors will be closing if this is the case.. terrible business conduct.. just terrible. Pizza is okay. Sauce is slightly sweet if you like that. The crust unfortunately reminds me of cardboard. I favor a more chewy doughy crust, but you won't find it at Rosati's. The highlight: I absolutely love the brand of Mozzarella cheese they use, it is perfection and always melts nicely. My favorite thing on the menu is the cheesy garlic bread, they make it just right. Rosati's Pizza: I like all kinds of pizza, so it is difficult for me not to like a pizza joint. Their thin-crust is more of a flaky style crust. It is usually bad be square, but their square cut pizza makes me happy. Usually have some good deals. They have a pretty large menu for a carry-out pizza place. The customer service here is horrible. Two weeks ago we ordered two pizzas. One small with 2 toppings, one large with 5 completely different toppings. When the pizzas arrived, both only had the 2 toppings listed for the small. I checked the reciept, it listed the 5 correct toppings for the large, and I was charged for them. I figured it was not a big deal, mistakes happen, and they would make it right. I couldn't have been more wrong. First, they wanted me to keep both pizzas and said they would give me a $5 credit. I refused because the 3 extra toppings alone cost more than $5, plus I had a pizza with toppings I didn't want. It took several minutes of arguing back and forth to convince the manager that I wasn't going to accept that. I finally had to threaten to dispute the charge with my credit card company. He was so rude and unwilling to fix the mistake that they made that I finally told them I wanted my money back for the pizza that was wrong. They said the only way they would give me my money back was if they could come get the pizza and take it back. I said fine, and they actually sent the poor driver (who obviously wasn't at fault here) back to my house to collect the pizza and verify it was wrong. What makes it all worse is that I sent an email detailing the story to management, hoping that it was just a bad manager's decision and they would somehow try to make it right after the fact. Two weeks later and I haven't gotten any response at all. I'll never order from here again. Not because they made a mistake, I can accept that they happen. But because of the horrible response by management in failing to make any sincere attempt in fixing the mistake. One of the cheaper pizza take-out places in our small community. We always get the large thin crust for $16 and haven't had any complaints. We also enjoy their beef & mozzarella and chicken parmesan sandwich, which are about $6 each. Only thing I'm not too crazy about is their Pan pizza, which is a regular pizza, but with a stuffed pizza style crust, just didn't have as much flavor as their thin crust. Friday Night Disaster! We ordered a pizza online at 6:45pm. It stated a 45 minute time frame for delivery. We waited until 7:45 to call and get an update on it. However, that pizza apparently was NEVER was received, even though they took the money out of my account IMMEDIATELY. When my husband called to inquire on where it was the excuse he got was shocking "Sorry, our online system has been down all day." He said well the money has already been taken out of our account so how did you not get our order? But they did not have an answer for that. She "attempted" to look for our order and then asked my husband for the last four of the card and to give her the order we placed. He gave her the order and all she said was "we will get this made now and get it out to you right away". Now its 7:45 we are placing an already placed order and they advise that " it is coming out right away". Well that turned into 1 hour. We did not receive our pizza until 8:45. We were not given a receipt for proof of purchase. In total we waited almost 2 hours for dinner. Now, We know things are going to happen. Issues are going to arise. We understand that, but to NOT take accountability or offer up anything to compensate for the inconvenience to your customer is down right wrong and completely bad business. I am very disappointed with the way that Rosati's handled this issue, I am concerned that they somehow are going to charge me again even through it was already paid for and I honestly cant see myself ordering from them again. read more

The Chief sandwich is one of the best beef sandwiches I have ever had. Perfect combination of beef, peppers and mozeralla cheese. The bread is also basted with garlic butter and really adds to the taste. All of this is toasted to perfection. I would also recommend the pizza. Great sauce and quality sausage. If I could give this location zero stars I would. Placed an order this evening for delivery. Ordered a small pizza, breadsticks & pasta with meatballs (which came with side salad and garlic bread). When we unpacked everything we first noticed we were missing the red sauce that came with the breadsticks. We then realized my side salad had BROWN lettuce throughout the container. The garlic dressing had a yellow jelly like substance under the lip of the top (old, dried dressing...EW). We then noticed the meatballs we missing in the pasta. When I called to explain the situation the man I spoke with on the phone first off did not offer an apology which is honestly the only thing I was looking for. He wanted to send another salad out. I tried to explain that if some of the lettuce is brown I'd rather not have another one. I instead asked for a credit to my account & he said "but the salad is technically free" because it came with the pasta.... He continued to be extremely rude and had no sympathy for our whole order being wrong. Take ownership for mistakes and try to make it right. They did not do that. My family really loves the thin crust pizza from Rosati's, and their lasagna is a family favorite as well. We only order when the 30% off pizza sign is out, otherwise we feel the pizza is overpriced. Keep the pizza at a discount, and we'll keep ordering twice a month!
