When we first got there around 7:30pm, the line was almost out the door! It wasn't too busy at the tables but it just looked like everyone was ordering super slow and the line wasn't moving. Luckily, we found out they take online orders. We placed our order online and got our food within 20 minutes, then took it back to the hotel to chow down! I got the Jalapeño B burger. It's a hefty size and was oozing and leaking down my hands with beefy fat juice! The patty was so juicy and infused with chopped jalapeños bits, while the gooey jack cheese and grilled jalapeños added even more flavor. The bun is also some fancy artisanal bread, not your normal processed fast food burger bun. The fries are also well-seasoned and crispy. Also, I got the ranch dip and it was the star of the show -- tastes even better than Wingstop ranch! I drenched my burger with it and licked up every last drop. Overall, a surprise highlight meal of our trip to the eastern Sierra!

Apparently, you order first and THEN find a table--even with 20 empty tables staring at you. We learned this from a fellow customer who apparently promoted themselves to Assistant Seating Manager. Let's just say the explanation wasn't exactly friendly. Then there's the bar. Only about half seemed available for seating, giving me a little COVID-era flashback. I was looking around wondering, "Wait... are we still social distancing?" And if I want another beer, do I keep getting up and walking back to the bar? At that point I'm not drinking beer--I'm doing cardio with refreshments. We'd previously had an unfortunate bakery experience involving bugs and hair in our sandwiches, but everyone deserves another chance. Then I visited the bathroom. I was going to post a blurred picture, but honestly, I decided nobody needs to see that while scrolling through their feed. Let's just say whatever happened in that stall had somehow managed to cover just about everything. I'll leave the rest to your imagination. Overall: good burger, confusing setup, COVID-era seating vibes, and quite the collection of side quests. Order. Find table. Get scolded by the volunteer seating coordinator. Eat burger. Walk for beer. Visit bathroom. Question life choices.

Honestly, I'm baffled by the 4.9 rating because our experience at Indiego was genuinely terrible…read more It took an entire hour to get a surf & turf burrito, a side salad, and fish tacos. And unfortunately, the wait was not worth it. The fish tacos were extremely dry and overcooked, with barely any salsa on top. The carne asada in the burrito was full of gristle and had a strange, almost off-putting smoky flavor that made the whole thing difficult to eat. THE BURRITO WAS $30!! The meal all together was $70 and we got robbed. ROBBED. The service itself was okay, and I will give credit where it's due: the cook actually came out and asked if we liked our food. I was honest and told him we didn't. He took the feedback with a positive attitude, which I genuinely appreciated. But unfortunately, that doesn't change the experience. Between the hour-long wait and the quality of the food, I honestly don't understand how this place has a 4.9 rating. It is BAFFLING to me. I wouldn't come back and honestly, I wouldn't return even if the food were 50% off.

First impression of Mountain Rambler: a casual, laid-back brewery with a chill atmosphere and spacious seating. The AC was blasting, though, so I found a corner table to escape the arctic chill. Ordering was easy, and they were accommodating with substitutions. Not a fan of having to tip before getting your food, though. The checkout wouldn't let me proceed without selecting a tip, so you have to manually enter $0 if you prefer to tip after service. Tried the non-alcoholic shrub drink, which had a tart, kombucha-like fermented flavor. Interesting, but definitely an acquired taste! Ordered the Rambler Burger with garlic fries. Portions were generous, and the fries were tasty. Loved the bacon, onions, and green chiles on the burger, but the lettuce was a little brown and the pretzel bun overly toasted. Otherwise, a solid burger, although it could've used some condiments. The ranch was good but a little soupy. Service was nice enough, but nothing particularly memorable or that extra small-mountain-town welcome you sometimes get while passing through. Overall, a relaxed spot with generous portions and plenty of room to hang out. A few minor food and ordering quirks, but a decent lunch stop in Bishop. My true honest rating would be a 3.5/5 stars
