Most of the time the service is good and if you have a problem and tell the manager he will make it right. I am happy to have another fast food place besides carls jr up here read more

The worst customer service every single time Jasmin works! She is horrible. I paid for the sauce and she refused to give me the 11 cent packet she just kept looking at me and saying 11 cents it was very creepy and she has always gave us a really strange vibe. For her to be so aggressive about the 11 cent sauce pack was really disturbing and made all of uncomfortable. I paid 23$ for all the food and it wasn't the money she was worried about she just found a customer to bully! Which was me and my children. Her customer service is atrocious. read more

Is there anything below one star? This McDonalds has to be the worst one on the planet. You are one of the lucky ones if your order isn't screwed up. It's bad enough that McDonalds McNuggets are less that 50% actual chicken meat but when they sit around for hours they're so dried out you can't even eat them. McDonalds offer a sausage McMuffin for $1.00 but a sausage McMuffin with egg is $2.95??? You can get a dozen eggs for $2.95! Avoid this place, there's a SUBWAY next door. read more

The past 3 times I've gone here the fries have been Luke warm and soggy. Also, the employees are rude and extremely slow. This place needs help!! read more

Asked for my cheeseburger plan 3 times. Needless to say, they were not plain. I am sad.

5 stars for the manager working her app tail off tonight. 2 cash registers went down, she was going outside taking orders then when everything was done was picking up trash outside. Great job! read more

This is the worst McDonald's ever! It should not be called fast food! The staff usually isn't very pleasant and I dread having to go there because I know it's going to take forever. About 75% of the time they forgot part of my order. So disappointing. read more

Saturday @ 3:40 pm did the drive through for a Filet O Fish & Fries. 3 cars ahead of me and wait was forever. The woman (blonde) gave no customer service, no hello, no thank you, just rude. Told me the amount and threw the bag at me. Two employees across the drive through smoking cigarettes. Terrible. Fish sandwich was ice cold and frys cold and soggy. It deserves NO stars. Worst McDonalds food & service I've ever had. read more

Just in case anyone reads these that cares from a management perspective, we are driving to the one on Los Coches to cash in some gift certificates for no other reason than how terrible the service at this location is. Long waits, forgotten food items, indifferent employees every time we have tried coming here. Never again. read more

There was a worker there that went WAY above and beyond! I didn't get he name but she offered to help me carry my large order out to my car and didn't act like it was an inconvenience. She said she was happy to help and that she could get her steps in . We had an order for 6 people with many add ons and take aways and they got everything correct! Not sure why they had low reviews... place was clean, workers friendly, order correct. read more

The food has definitely gotten better since the last time I've been here. Either the manager fired people or got them into shape, because before they couldn't care less. If you asked for extra pickles you'd get 2 at most, now you'd get at least 4. The service and staff has been much nicer since the last few times. Their staff didn't really seem to care at all about your food before but now they seem to care a little bit more. They have stepped up their game. :) read more

I was just there and ordered through the drive thru. I ordered 8 double cheeseburgers and they only gave me 6. I called 2 times and nobody answered the phone. read more

Well, I'm sure people are happy that McD's is in Alpine again (previously at Viejas Outlet Center). I am not a huge fan but do appreciate their dollar menu now and then. Wanting to get something quick before work one day, I went through the drive thru. I literally sat for 5 minutes by the speaker before I finally said "Hello?" a few times. Then the lady who got on was rude, as if it was my fault that she didn't see me or whatever. Definitely a bad first impression. I know that they just opened, so hopefully they'll work out all of those kinks! read more

I wish I knew the name of the worker that helped us. She was so rude , handed us our food without even, looking at us and carried on with a personal conversation with another coworker. We used the drive through. Not going back. Not supporting such horrible attitude. read more

Undoubtedly the worst McDonald's you could imagine! The employees are miserable, the service is slow, I have never been in a worst managed fast food shop in my life ! I ordered a shake, the ice cream was all over the outside of the cup, when I asked them if they could "please" wipe off the excess I got nothing but "attitude". I spoke to the manager, he is angry and could care less about customer service. If you want to know why McDonald's is in a tail spin with decreasing sales this McDonald's is an example of why you should avoid McDonald's at all costs !! read more

Super nice staff. Helped me out when I was desperate for a car charging station. Soon official charging stations will be there but for now they let me plug in to a regular outlet because I couldn't get home. Hung out for a bit and had a Coke. Clean place and great people! read more

My friend and I had a horrible experience at this McDonald's today. First, the ice cream machine was broken and we could not get a shake. Though milkshakes were advertised all over the store, not even an apology was offered. All the cashier said was "The machine is broken." Second, when I picked up our food, a young man who appeared to be the manager handed it to me with a ridiculing smart-ass grin, wishing me a "wonderful day" in a totally exaggerated, mocking way. As I was returning with the food to our table, I looked over my shoulder only to see the manager and the cashier clerk giggling and looking in our direction. Needless to say, neither of us felt comfortable finishing our lunches. We left after taking only a couple bites, feeling rather queasy about what might be in our burgers, which actually tasted "off". My friend witnessed the whole thing and agreed that we would never visit this McDonald's again. Interestingly enough, when I looked up this restaurant's address, the first hit was Yelp, which has this location listed with one star. Perhaps it's time for someone to look into how this franchise is being run and hire decent employees? I have also contacted McDonald's corporate offices and am curious whether they will get in touch with me. What a truly disgusting experience! read more

Everything one would expect from a fast food outlet. Fast friendly service from manager Kim. Great food and coffee. Super clean bathrooms!

Waited in line in the drive thru for 20 minutes and still had to sit outside for my food because it wasn't ready.... pretty ridiculous. Should have just gone to Carl's Jr. read more

Check the reviews, seems to be a pattern. Went by about 9 pm, lobby hours say they are open, they were not. Went thru drive through, long slow line and when I got to the window and asked why the lobby was closed the guy said he was not aware and it should have been open. Received order and drove to into parking lot to eat it and found I was given the wrong order, someone else's food. Went to lobby door but it was still locked and I was told to use the drive through which I had to do. After waiting in line again I reordered my meal explaining they gave me the wrong items. When I got to the window they had no idea how to exchange my meal, no manager or anyone that could figure out how to do an exchange. Wow! read more

I usually don't complain about fast food chains but the workers here are very rude I get off work late at night the other night I went through the drive through after work around 1150pm the building was clearly lit up as they were open when I got to the ordering screen the lady just yelled we're closed and I said your online hours say 24 hours and then she proceeded to tell me that she didn't write that and she doesn't own the place in an extreme rude tone of voice. Unsatisfactory service. read more

Very dirty. Tables and floors. I had to move around to find a table that was not as bad as the rest. And this was at 8:30 in the morning. Had to wait to be served, one of the employees just looked at me as I stood at the counter and didn't call anyone to help me. Then someone came from the back to take my order. Food was just warm. Don't think I will be back. Carl's jr. Just off the freeway at Tavern is much better. read more

Horrible! If you like to get ripped off on what you pay for, go to this McDonalds. For example, they like to only fill the fries half-way when you go through the drive-thru. If they were ever reported to the county's weights and measures department, they would potentially be facing many fines. read more

Negative stars all the way Two nights in a row i have used the drive thru First night fries were soggy it seems the were just dipped in oil Second night i was served fries that probably were cooked that same day but early in the AM-unacceptable!! Not to mention the service was lousy too read more

This will be short and to the point: Absolutely terrible service. I have literally been handed my food through the drive-thru window without it being placed in a bag. When I requested a bag, I got rolled eyes from the worker. A few other times, my food has simply been handed to me out the window: Not so much as a "Thank you." I don't expect to have my ass kissed, but simple politeness goes a long way, especially if one is hoping for a customer to return. Coupled with, at best, mediocre food - even for McDonald's - why bother? read more

This location in Alpine California, 91901 is notoriously slow on service. This morning I ended up backing out of the drive through, along with three other cars because after 20 min. Waiting there were still three cars ahead of me before the order intercom. Sorry McDonalds. You lost a local customer for good this time. read more

Very amazed how great this location is. Fast timely food ,clean, and great customer service. When I came in I was welcomed right away with a greeting and it made me feel comfortable there unlike other McDonald's that I have been too. The employees seem happy to be there and that puts a good impression to the customers. read more

Kevin the manager is such a sweetheart!!! His customer service is excellent. I highly recommend this McDonald's! Never had a problem with any of my orders. read more

Great customer service. The french fries were so greasy that I could not eat them. Big disappointment.

Had an excellent experience at my local McDonalds in Alpine. I was not happy that this chain came into my small town because I had wanted to keep a "small town" feel in this area. But when I took my grandkids into the restaurant we received "small town" friendly service at its best. Not only was the stuff very helpful with my grands ( bringing us small ice cream cones and cleaning our spills) they also helped me get empty boxes. I thought they would send me out back ( if they had any) but Lauren not only brought them up front but offered to help me get them in my car when I was done eating. Now this is "small town" friendliness and service. Welcome to Alpine McDonalds! read more

Stopped on my way back to AZ. Service was fast and accurate. Very clean. I'll stop again for sure!!

The cleanest and most friendly of all the McDonalds I have been too! When they are busy they still manage to keep the lobby clean. When you order they all make you feel like you have been friends for a long time. I really appreciate the manager here now because the one before didn't care at all and was barely there. This new one helps on the floor and cares about the customer. They also seem to have decorations for Each season or holiday. I was just there and they have a "summer theme". All in all even if I didn't live in alpine I would drive here just because it's so much better then other ones I've been too especially greenfield McDonald's which is horrible. read more

The quality is trouble ... went through drive thur 2 weekends in a row and never again. Food is either over cooked or under cooked. English muffins hard and hash browns taste like fish. Come on McDonald's your warmer suck. Manager didn't seem to care when we when in to get replaced, she gave us the same food out of the same warmers and bad attitude . read more

First, this restaurant constantly gets orders wrong... I wouldn't have come to Yelp for that, but then today I went thru the drive thru to get my kids some free kiddie cones. The drive thru worker took my order, and instructed me to pull up to the second window. I waited in their sloooow line, and when I got to the window, I waited there a couple minutes and then the "manager" came to the window and told me that I have to purchase something to get kiddie cones for free, that the drive thru worker just didn't know. Sorry but this has never ever been the policy. He argued with me for a bit and once I told him that if he wanted to enforce that as a policy he should have it posted somewhere, and by the way I make plenty of purchases... he told me not to talk to him like that, but that he would give them to me "this time," but next time I'll have to purchase something or pay for the free kiddie cones. I guess we won't be going to this store any more. Rude management, and this location actually makes you pay for extra ketchup. It's ridiculous. read more

Literally the worst McDonald's when it comes to customer service! I come here all the time and have only encountered probably one employee who isn't rude (young blonde boy). Sucks that it's pretty much the only fast food place in alpine, even the managers are rude. read more

If I could give no stars I would. They gave me one syrup for three hot cakes. I ask for another one and the manager tells me it cost extra. Seriously it's not like I asked for an unrealistic amount. This place is going down hill. Customer service is not there thing. read more

This is my first time having an issue with this place. The customer service isn't always the greatest but never had an issue with orders or anything. Tonight I drive thru at about 11:20 and all the lights at the drive thru are on but no greeting as I waited for 5 min. So I pull around to walk inside ans doors are locked. I then leave and sure enough all the lights are off in the drive thru. If you are willing it just ignore me at the drive thru then just tell me over the intercom you can't take my order for some reason. I would understand closing early and grills already being off or something. Getting ignored just bugs me. read more

Nobody is expecting the world going to McD's. What we expect is fast food right?? Well why the heck does this place take so long to make microwave burgers? I'm always waiting for over 5 mins and that without a single person waiting apart from me. The last time I went I counted 10 people working, I ordered a simple Mcdouble and a big mac. 7 mins later I got it. Fast food does not take 7 mins without a que. Also the fries are salted so much that I can't eat them. Thats to much salt considering I love salt on my fries. Sort it out! read more

Doesn't stay open past midnight, they always mix up or forget my food. They forgot my fries, and gave my dad a fish fillet sandwich instead of a big mac 2 weeks in a row :( read more

not only is this the worst mcdonald's i've ever been to; but it is by far the worst "restaurant" i've ever been to...this is a very small town; and with any luck, they will be gone before long, and the space taken by something much better...go to fred's across the street; go to carl's jr on the other side of town (5 mins away); go anywhere but here...the only reason they are still here is because they are open to screw up your order 24 hrs a day (so is carl's jr); not have what you pay for (who needs salad dressing with a salad, right...???); and give you attitude while they rip you off...oh, and make sure your order your fries (isn't that their claim to fame...???) well done, and you may get them cooked, otherwise it's raw potatoes...this place is a joke; mcdonald's at viejas went under, and i look forward to watching this one fold, as well...it's fast food, people, not rocket science; if you can't master this, please stay off the roads i drive on... letter send to corporate headquarters so that they could also not give a damn... the only thing that is a bigger joke than this so-called "restaurant" is the person i just spoke to on the phone in your "complaint" department...i didn't think it was possible to give a crap less about customers than your restaurant does, but this mental defective i just spoke to earned that title...not only will i never patronize this, or any other mcdonalds ever again; but this is a very small town, i've lived here for 21yrs and know everyone in it, and i will make sure i tell anyone and everyone to not patronize this "daycare center" until they are put out of business and something worth a damn replaces you...i have a few thousand people on my facebook page; as well as many other sites i utilize, and i will make absolute sure that it is known far and wide that this restaurant sucks beyond belief until you are run out of town...i've been ripped off every time i've attempted to actually get what i ordered, and now i will make it up by word of mouth...you stole my money, and now i will cost you plenty...enjoy the loss of business; you're welcome, it's my pleasure...i've already given you one star on yelp; now i will add this complaint to my review for all to see how much you won't contact me, stole my money, and don't give a damn about your customers...enjoy the free pr...ciao read more
