Dallas fillet with a loaded baked potato, salad with ranch and a grilled shrimp app. The shrimp, salad and steak were amazingly good. The steak had a nice crust on it and they nailed medium rare. The salad dressing was so thick and good. The baked potato was lacking on the loadedness. Usually the toppings are loaded on there and they mix well into the potato. But this one was dry and now that I think of it, might have not had butter on it. I ended up pouring some of the melted butter than way with the grilled shrimp onto the potato to make it less dry. The skin of the potato was salted really really well. I usually eat the entire baked potato but could not think time. Overall a good but not great visit due to the potato. I should have said something but was super hungry and just made due.

The baked potato was very good, but the ribs were so dry that the bark was inedible. Once I pulled that away, the meat underneath tasted fine, but there wasn't much of it. My daughter ordered the pulled pork, and it looked unappetizing from the moment it arrived. After a couple of bites, she couldn't eat any more because it was so tough. My niece's chicken mushroom sandwich was also dry and lacked flavor, and my son--who normally loves hamburgers--didn't even finish a third of his burger. The only thing that made the experience more disappointing was that no one really asked how the meals were. Our server stopped by for quick check-ins with a thumbs-up before moving on, so there never seemed to be an opportunity to mention the food. He appeared to be busy with other tables, but when most of the entrées on a table go largely uneaten, it's hard not to hope someone will stop long enough to ask if everything is okay. We saw the manager when we first arrived, but not again during our meal. I've had many good experiences at Texas Roadhouse, which is why this visit stood out. I know every restaurant can have an off day, but it was disappointing to see so many entrées leave the kitchen looking and tasting the way they did.

Instead of asking for a new sandwich, I simply went back to the counter and asked if I could have another piece of bread so I could fix it myself. The employee refused. Her exact explanation was that she "only had 4 more rolls." She would not remake the sandwich, would not replace the bread, and would not even let me PAY for an extra piece of bread. When I showed her the sandwich and asked how I was supposed to eat it, she sarcastically told me to "put the bread back on the sub and eat it." The most unbelievable part was the refund. After refusing to replace a piece of bread or remake a clearly defective sandwich, I was offered a refund. When I went to the register, I was refunded exactly $1.00 on a $36.00 order and handed a receipt showing the refund amount. At that point it felt less like customer service and more like I was being mocked. The issue wasn't the damaged bread. Mistakes happen. The issue was the complete refusal to fix a very obvious problem, the dismissive attitude, the sarcastic response, and then the insulting $1 refund afterward. I've always thought Firehouse Subs was known for good customer service, but this experience was the exact opposite. Management should review how customer concerns are being handled at this location because this was unacceptable.

Raising Cane's is a U.S. based restaurant chain specializing in chicken fingers. There was lots of available parking out front. The store was clean and well maintained. The staff who took my order was very friendly and efficient. Had no issues using my coupon offer. Lemonade was served cold fresh perfectly tart. Not sure if they offer free refills. This location does the little things right. I will be back to try the chicken in the future.

My…read morehusband and I along with our daughter, son-in-law, and grandson planned to have dinner with hubby's sister & brother & respective families. It was a good spot for a reunion. The downside was that it was extremely noisy. We ordered & our food came out pretty quickly. I don't know about anybody else but I had the best fried catfish ever! The cornmeal batter was crunchy & flavorful but that fish was light, flaky & delicious! I have been craving catfish and this exceeded my expectations! I had a side of corn that was very good. The portions were generous & I ended up taking leftovers home. Yay me! Kudos to our server for working so hard for us as we were a big group of 11 people. This young lady was efficient and attentive. We found it difficult eating because we were catching up after not seeing each other in a while. This is a friendly, rustic, casual vibe & a place you'd expect in Texas. Would love to return here before flying back to CA
