Dry potato carcass that was at least a day old.

This was nothing but disappointing. We ordered to go. Two people. We ordered half a potato and choose two with a salad and soup. We also tried the mini pretzel dogs because they were advertising them. Firstly, they took 20 mins for our small order and there were literally no other customers. When we opened our meal, we discovered there was no dressing for the salad, they gave us three spoons for a salad, potato and soup. No forks. They didn't put any dressing for the salad. They didn't put any mustard even though we ordered corn dogs. And, our food was missing toppings that should have been included according to the menu description. Also, the baked potato was so old and dry there may have been two tablespoons of potato to dig out of the dry potato carcass. Just terrible. Tasted terrible. Packed with no concern.....or napkins. Ugh.

Beware this of toothpicks in your sandwiches

BEWARE OF TOOTHPICKS!!!! First of all, I am giving this location a 2 star. Not the restaurant chain. I have had two to-go orders with broken toothpicks in the sandwiches. The first time, I bit into a toothpick. Tonight my son did, twice!!! The quality of items you stick in food needs to be top, or else you can really hurt someone. Next I will talk about the food. I love the food. Great quality and flavor. I would choose this chain over Jason's. The food feels higher quality and fresher. However, I would choose a different location.

I go to McAlister's at least once a week . I can say that I am happy with my order 95% of the time, but today not so much. I ordered a chopped salad. I would say the about 1/3 or more was the salad was the part of the greens you would put in the garbage. The greens were not finely chopped. If I had wanted a regular salad I would have ordered it. A $9.00 salad needs to be Right!

We ordered for pick up early Saturday evening. We ordered a Horseradish, Roast Beef and Cheddar ion Ciabatta, it was supposed to have all of these ingredients plus caramelized onions, we also ordered a pecan Berry Salad. The less than one star experience began when we walked in. There was trash everywhere, half full drinks on the counter and behind, counter was not wiped downWe were told our food would be ready in15-20 minutes when we ordered, we got there in 20 minutes and there were several people waiting and no employees in sight. Twice while we were waiting a young man came up front from the kitchen, looked around, said nothing and turned and walked back out. The 3rd time he walked in he filled some cups and walked back out. There was one couple that said they had been waiting close to an hour. Meanwhile, a female would come in to counter area, put food in the counter and walk out. After about 15 minutes of waiting she came out and said order for Michael and walked out. She came back in a bit and said here's your sandwich, my husband said " Where's the salad?" She said what salad, he said you tell me. She checked and said, oh yeah, I'll get you one. We finally paid and got home to eat and we're further disappointed. The sandwich, which is described above had some cold roast beef slapped in a pile on one edge of the bread, there was NO CHEESE, no carmelized onions and a smear of what might have been horseradish the size of a nickel. It was completely disgusting considering the mess in the store. I am guessing the salad was pre-made so it was as advertised and tasty. We will not be back to this store and we will spread the word about this experience.

    Shitty sandwich... BLT /A

This location needs help bad! Went back tonight to give them another chance to redeem themselves from the last visit and a burnt sandwich. This time was even worse - ordered a BLT-A and got two piece of white bread from a loaf you'd get at the grocery store, one slice of tomato cut in half for each side of the sandwich, one sliver of avocado for the entire sandwich and bacon crumbles not even one full strip of bacon - and this is suppose to be a BLT. $7.79 for a sandwich that was made for a buck fifty in product. Wish I could post a picture. Staff was more interested with playing on their phone than taking care of business. Bet the franchisee would be happy to know his/her business is being run like this... Too many options in this town to waste my money here ever again!

I am a huge suck er for sourdough bread so I usually get the ham and cheese on sourdough with chicken tortilla soup.

The space itself is adorable--think industrial loft vibes with exposed brick, warm wood accents, and that cozy, slightly artsy feel you get from an old brick building repurposed just right. It's the kind of place that feels calm and intimate, especially tucked into a quieter downtown pocket that gives off small-city charm in the best way. I ordered a loose-leaf green tea (I won't even attempt to pronounce the name), brewed French-press style, and it was so good--earthy, smooth, and surprisingly reminiscent of crispy rice mixed with green tea. Warm, comforting, and thoughtfully prepared. My husband went with an Americano, which was solid and well-balanced. They do offer food and small bites, but what really stood out was how community-forward the space feels. There's local artwork displayed throughout the café, all available for purchase, along with curated retail items like tallow products, cool tees, and other thoughtful little finds you don't usually see in a coffee shop. Between the cozy industrial atmosphere, quality drinks, and strong support of local artists and makers, Nashville Cafe feels less like a quick coffee stop and more like a place you actually want to linger. A really sweet spot downtown--quiet, creative, and full of character.

They have a few tables inside and outside, we sat inside. There was one individual working for orders and they were a delight. Very friendly and patient as we weren't sure what to get. Coffee was tasty, and we went with the southwestern omelet, French toast, 1 blueberry pancake and breakfast plate with ham. Highly recommended to order the hash browns well done (1 plate and 1 did not) and wished I had done the well done ones. Next time. The food was great and everything came out hot. As they are a make to order kitchen, patience is key for greatness. We also ordered a few of the fried pies to go....so the verdict is still out on those. I doubt they won't be delicious based on the meal. Great place to checkout if in the area.

For anyone wondering what I was wondering: - you do not order at the counter and then sit down. You choose a table and have a waitress. Ours was attentive and friendly. - don't go here if you just want something light. Most items are heavy. There is a fruit parfait option, but it was 12 dollars. - if you're debating getting the biscuits or the blueberry pancake, absolutely get the pancake. It was HUGE and delicious. - Don't bother paying extra and getting meat. Neither the ham nor bacon were very good. - sit inside if you can. The front patio is okay, but is surrounded by the pothole filled parking lot, backs of buildings, and an employment service business. - I was hoping to grab a slice of apple bread or an apple item, but the bakery cabinet was extremely limited and needed to be restocked.
