I was excited to hear there was a Torchy's nearby because that's one of our favorite places in Houston. However, I was disappointed to see how bad this location was. The service was pretty much non-existent. I didn't interact with anyone until I got my food. The locations in Houston/Katy, staff are always attentive and ask if you need help when you self-order, which I appreciate. The drink area was super dirty and the tables just looked sad... like not well maintained. I was disappointed.

It was a wet version that was semi-sweet and had a great crunch to it. The beans and rice tasted very homemade. It is the definition of southern comfort food. The only thing I would suggest is that I wish that the beans and the rice were cooked a littler softer. But the flavor and the presentation of this side is awesome! The tartar sauce is an orange color and reminds me of a Cajun version of tartar sauce. It went very well with the fish and the fries. Overall, my first experience was unforgettable. It was enough food to share with roughly 3 to 4 people. The price was very reasonable and again, the service was top tier. I will definitely be returning and recommending this place to all my loved ones. I give a 5 out of 5 just for the customer service, alone.
