Ordered the "Make it a Meal" deal while in Lubbock. The food was delicious! The spaghetti with marinara and mushrooms had a great sauce on it and the pasta was fresh. The breadsticks were soft with a perfect amount of butter and garlic added; much, much better than the ones from Olive Garden. The salad was fresh with a choice of dressing on the side and croutons. The lemonade was just the right combo of sweet and sour. I love that the drink comes with a sticker to seal it over the lid. Keeps it from being tampered with on the way to the customer. If you need quick and cheap Italian food then Fazoli's is perfect for you. The selection is pretty good for a fast food chain and usually the food is ready before you can fill up your drink. The classic sampler is what I got and it included a portion of lasagna, spaghetti and meat sauce, and alfredo pasta. All of it was pretty good but I think the lasagna was the best. A person came by every few minutes and served fresh hot bread sticks. I feel pretty confident that IO could have made a meal out of just the bread. read more

Bravo Fazolis!! I didn't think one could successfully have a pasta drive thru that would serve any sort of tasty, quality Italian dishes. Pizza, yes. A variety of classic Pasta dishes, no way. I WAS DEAD WRONG! I was the sixth car in line, and the sit-down restaurant was full too! We moved right along and I waited less than 10 min. To place my order. That's probably faster than inside service! Spaghetti w/meatballs, lasagna, nothing out of the ordinary. It was packaged well, so I could heat it up if I wanted, eat it out of the sturdy plastic dish it was served in and tea red peppers and cheese was included, and the price was right. And it TASTED great! Tomato sauce was right a generous, pasta was Al dente and portions were generous! What's not to love! I highly recommend this great little place next time you get a craving for Italian, but don't want to change out of your slippers. Great value and very flavorful dishes at a reasonable price. This location has been consistently serving good stuff for a while now. It seems to have consistent management. As always, the bread sticks are great, with just the right amount of garlic. The spaghetti is cooked to right. The serving sizes are good. The alfredo is well prepared as well. Nice people to serve you makes the dining pleasant. The music mix is not as Italian as it once was. Some gang-like music should be taken out of the mix. That's a corporate issue, not local. Bathrooms well maintained as well. Fast casual done well. read more

I was genuinely surprised when coming here. It's definitely no Italian Garden but for fast food Italian it's delicious. I had never even heard of fast food Italian. For the price, it's more than worth it. I really like their meat sauce. I got the Ultimate Sampler so I could try everything. I enjoyed it all and the breadsticks.. Oh they're great. As long as you have very low expectations and expect mediocre food with apathetic service at a moderate price. Then you will be pleasantly surprised. The best thing about the place is if you "eat in" then you get all you can eat breadsticks. Very impressed with this restaurant. When I lived in Austin I used to eat at Fazolis all the time. So once the wife and I found out one was on our way back to California, we had to stop.
