If you've never been to a Pie Five, think great quality pizza ingredients version of a pizza subway. Upon entering, you select your crust, sauce and toppings. They throw your personalized pizza in their oven and not long after paying it comes out and is yours to do what you wish. I dined in and the customer service was great and at least 3 times I noticed someone come out to clean tables. If I had to be picky, I'd say the music was a bit too loud and I had a hard time hearing my pizza maker when he was asking me questions about toppings. Additionally, it's kinda pricey compared to other pizza places. I highly recommend signing up on their app for rewards, and to help offset the prices I was awarded a buy one get one free just for signing up. read more

This place is awesome. I love the food, the staff is awesome, and I'm always happy here. The only thing keeping me from a 5 star review, is that every time I come here, which isn't very often, I always mix the teas. Every time I do, one of them is off. And by off I mean pretty rancid. This past time I had to get a new cup and they were awesome about that, but I was waiting to see how long it would take them to come out and check/change out the teas. It's been about 10 mins already and nobody's come out to check the teas. The garlic and butter bread sticks and their salads are great however their Pan build your own pizza needs to be rethought. The crust did not have on crispy thing about it. When you picked it up it was berry wet and soggy. I will try again tomorrow with leftovers as I have found that place pizza on a cookie sheet in a preset oven at 375 for 10 minutes. The pizza was cooked perfectly and the staff was so friendly. It has such a laid-back atmosphere and it's inviting. However, I had a friend who had a few dietary restrictions and with all the cross-contamination she ended up getting sick. Finally tried this place out for dinner! You can either make your own pie or get one of their specialty ones. I decided to go with their Chicken Carbonara pizza. You pick your dough (I went with Italian crust) and then they add the sauce, cheese, and veggies/meat to it. I added bell peppers and onions to my chicken carbonara. The great thing is that you can add as many toppings as you want for no extra cost. Each pizza is $7.49 and could be good for 2 meals depending on how hungry you are. The pizza came out of the oven in about 10 minutes and they call your name when it's ready. I asked for ranch on the side to dip my crust into! Pie Five and it's employees went ABOVE AND BEYOND to get me my food. I ordered from DoorDash and unfortunately the driver delivered my food to the wrong place. I was incredibly disappointed as Pie Five was closing in 15 minutes at this point so I couldn't reorder, I was issued a refund by DoorDash and I thought that was the end of it, and I started looking for other places to eat. The employees here called me after this out of the blue and told me they would remake my food and have someone drive it to my correct apartment. The employee said "at the end of the night everybody has to get their food." I know they most likely had employees and the manager stay later to do this. I am so appreciative that this wasn't even their mistake and they did this for me without me asking at all!! What excellent customer service!! So many thanks to everyone there. I had a really great experience today at Pie Five Pizza Co. I came in at noon and it was probably at 80% capacity. As soon as my friend and I got to the ordering station a crowd of about 15 filed in after us. We got there just in time! The ordering style is similar to that of subway or chipotle. You start on one end with your crust and move on and add on from there. The service was really fast and efficient. None of the workers were specifically nice, they didn't really respond to any small talk, just my order. They weren't mean either, probably just in go mode. All of my ingredients were really fresh tasting. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the garlic option. It was just minced garlic that you slop out of a huge jar. I love it when I can get fresh garlic in clove form on my pie. It adds a lot to my happiness when it comes to pizza. There are two things in life you I can't ever get enough of: Garlic and Refreshingly cold water. At least they had some sort of garlic available, you know? The pizza came out of the oven within 7 minutes. It was perfectly cooked, not to crispy, but also not soft. The best part was that you can get as many toppings on the build your own pizza all for 6.99, they don't do anything shady like charge 50 cents per topping. that means I got a personal sized pizza to my exact liking with enough pie to fill me up all for $7.57 exactly. That is some sort of impressive if you ask me. I know, I know, I can get a cheese pizza this size at Domino's for 5.99, BUT it takes longer, doesn't fit all my needs as far as toppings and it is fun to make my own pie as I scoot down the line! read more

I'm really torn on my review of this place. On the one hand, I absolutely love the pizza. Fresh ingredients and tasty sauce. Even the cheese garlic bread is legit. On the other hand, the employees (with a few exceptions) are absolutely ridiculously clueless. It's almost as if they just don't give a shit about the place and that is something I can barely suffer through. The older gentlemen (I think possibly the owner) has to run around doing the jobs for every other employee. It's just poor management. I hate the employee attitudes (again, there are a few exceptions). Unlike some yelper reviews, this isn't a one time visit or a vendetta against one rude employee. I've been to this location about 10 times now and it started out great but the last 6-7 visits have been blood boiling. I'm just addicted to the pizza and I'm a glutton for punishment. Anyway. If they find better management to train the employees to do their menial jobs in a more professional manner and pay attention and listen to the customers then I will eat there way more often and raise my rating. Until then... Eat there at your own risk. They cook it just right. My husband had the shrimp scampi pizza and loved the sauce and flavor. That's one neat thing about the place, menu selection. They have so many unique combos. They also offer a gluten free crust option which is nice. Your pizza really is ready in 5 mins or less which is nice after the long wait to order.
