Not great. I've been three times and it keeps getting worse. The meat is always discolored and never warm enough. Even asking for twice cooked. And it still came out less than warm. Hopefully I don't get sick. read more

Jason's Deli - Discolored green and dark spots and it was cold. The New Yorker - Delis Near Me - Lubbock, Texas

Guy at the register had the personality of a dead person, no welcome to Jason's, no salesmanship of any kind when my wife asked questions about a soup and sandwich. Restaurant floors were littered with debris, uncleaned tables galore. Although the above were below par, the food was good. read more

Best Rueben in town pastrami or corned beef. Prices not bad either. Service is always friendly and fast.

Many choices to choose from Great sandwich fast friendly staff Salad bar was great lots to choose from nice roomy seating booth or table and the free ice cream was great excellent dinning experience read more

I ordered the Panera chicken sandwich and it was disappointing. By the time it was delivered the bread was soggy to start. I asked for no thousand island dressing and tomatoes, but got them anyway. I also ordered their chocolate chip mousse, and it has no flavor whatsoever. It only takes one time to waste my money and you won't get it again. They might not like the review, but I don't like people who don't take the time to care about customer service. Won't ever order from them again. read more

This is one of my go-to sandwich places. They never mess up my take-out order, although the Papa Joe sandwich is made differently every time. The cashiers are clear communicators and usually very respectful and attentive. read more

Um NO! Worst Jason's Deli I have ever been to. On the first visit, our simple order was wrong. Took them a few minutes to figure out that we were missing an entire sandwich. Then we has to ask twice for our salad plates. Both containers of lettuce on the salad bar were so cold that the lettuce was icy and wilted. I let the young lady know and she smirked, walked off...coming back with a new bag of lettuce she dumped atop. Which will result in even more wasted food. Second visit, they came to our table to drop off our meal and it turned out to be someone else's food. I was away washing my hands, and my husband started eating, not knowing it was not our order. Third and final visit was also the final straw. The staff was playing music in the back very loudly, telling loud jokes and stories about their night out (too loud) which were not appropriate to share to customers, tables were messy, the salad bar was a hot mess and over-all the place looked dirty. read more

This is my favorite place to eat, but they don't keep it clean. We te there Saturday evening around 5:30 pm. My husband had to use the restroom and he said it was disgusting. Then when the tables were buzzed the food was just swiped onto the floor. It was disgusting. Floors are always dirty. read more

Jason's Deli - Delis Near Me - Lubbock, Texas

Stopped in for a light dinner tonight ,my husbands half plain Jane was burnt inside and when I asked the female employee if they had any blue cheese dressing for my salad she walked me over to the empty container to show me where it was. She then proceeded to walk away as I asked again so do you have any blue cheese ,she rudely snapped her gloves off walked to the back not saying a word. I thought she was genuinely going to check and went back to sit down and wait for a response ,when I looked up she was back at the sandwich counter as if she never bothered. Did I find out if they were out or going to bring more out NO I never did. I went to get ice cream and the only option was chocolate which was out. Needless to say this was the last straw to my giving them a chance. Customer service is not good anymore ,it's always a mess inside and the quality has drastically gone downhill and there is an employee in there whose pants are right under his butt and constantly tugging them up for them to fall back down Very unprofessional. read more

I love this restaurant I always get their Salemwich with veggie bowl and I always get their soft ice cream before I leave for dessert. What can I say, but point me to the salad bar! Jason's by far has the best salad bar in my opinion. Everything is always fresh and they never let anything run out so all the choices you have to build your salad your way are always ready and waiting for you. Jason's Deli is always my go to for a good salad bar! Raider Nation! read more

We got two salad bars at 11:30 on a Sunday. Inattentive workers too busy talking to hand us salad plates. Most of the items look like they were put up last night without being covered or stirred. One unidentified dill feta stuff was most defiantly rancid. Disgusting. Won't be back read more

We don't usually go to chain restaurants, but due to the lack of delis in the area, we decided to try them out. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and the service. The chef salad was nicely prepared, as well as the pastrami sandwich. We have visited this location (4001 S Loop 289) several times and are always pleased with our order. So much better than the other chain deli in Lubbock read more

Jason's Deli - This is the chef salad. Very good. - Delis Near Me - Lubbock, Texas

I'm a big fan of the nutty mix-up salad. Fresh greens, nuts, apples, grapes, feta. I substituted salmon for the chicken. It was overcooked and dry, but edible. Still, the salad is very good. The plain jane baked potato (sadness, no more sweet potato option) was the biggest spud I have ever seen. A little dry, but served with butter, sour cream, and cheese to make up for it. Not sure I'd order this again. For $7 fee and a $20 order minimum, they will deliver if you place your order by ~4:30pm. A nice healthy option when I'm in town and without a car. read more

I attempted to eat here today as a relatively new comer to Lubbock. The parking lot was overgrown and trashed out and after I stepped inside the restaurant, I experienced more of the same. Needless to say, I walked out. What a disappointment as the Jason's Deli where I came from was so good. read more

Went here after a meeting for lunch. Though we had to wait in line, we enjoyed club sandwiches and soup as well as salad bar. The salad bar originally had a large selection of veggies and salads but we're having difficulty keeping it filled that day. (No cornbread, or gingerbread, no bacon, no tomatoes) It was still very good. read more

The parking lot is fairly big but is also connected to the restaurants on both the left and right side. It's kind of hard to find a spot so I usually order food online and just pick it up because they have a specific parking area for that. I just recently started coming here but so far they have never messed up an order of mine, and the food always tastes fresh! The staff is friendly and i've never waited longer than 5-10 minutes when picking up my order. There's always someone there to help read more

Jason's Deli - Smoked turkey breast with lettuce provolone and bacon - Delis Near Me - Lubbock, Texas

I got the Roasted Turkey Muffuletta. Yum!!! So good. Unfortunately once again my husband didn't do as good. We went because he craved a pastrami sandwich. Easy, right? They told him it was made to order. He got two pieces of dry toast with meat in the middle. Nothing else, i.e., mustard mayo maybe a tomato. Dry as a bone. The meat didn't have any flavor. I, myself tried it. I don't want to know how much he paid for that. Watch what you order a Jason's Deli. read more

Sandwiches are great. Big portions with reasonable prices. For dining in, the salad bar is plentiful and healthy.

Found a hair in our salad and the entire restaurant looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Management was nice and gave us a proper refund but they need to do some serious deep cleaning and check food quality! read more

Hadn't been to a Jasons Deli in a LOOOOONG time! I was in the mood for some healthy food so I decided to stop in. The girl at the cash register was super friendly and patient with me and my S.O., since we didn't know what we wanted. She took our order and we waited for it to be ready. SHOUTOUT TO JASONS DELI BECAUSE THEY HAVE FREE ICE CREAM!!! Your options were chocolate, vanilla, or a swirl. I asked the girl at the register if we could have two to-go cups and she gladly handed it to us. I thought this was fake. No, it was real and it was a dream come true. Got our ice cream and waiting a total of 20 minutes for our to-go order. I got Amy's Turkey-O minus red onions and sub mayo for the mustard. There wasn't much meat on there and the onion bun was stale. My boyfriend thought his sandwich was good and full of flavor, but the bun was also dry. He got the Italian Cruz Po 'Boy. Overall great service and I'm glad we got free ice cream, but the sandwiches themselves had a dry and stale bun and not enough meat. read more

After the game, place to stop! First, pick up a menu at the door! Otherwise, the soup menu is on the wall, as well as 6 selections. Go back, get a menu and select. Maybe just maybe laminate one in front of the register....I'm just saying! Ordered SW chicken chili, mild flavor, just above warm when served. I like a chili a little hotter (temperature, and spicy). Got a Ruben. Spot on! Unless you are Starving, go with the half portion. Added treat was soft serve ice cream. Tasty treat. The Club looked good. read more

I think the "temporality closed" message is an error because I was just there this week. I frequented this location while on a business trip. The lean green sweet potato is back and I couldn't be happier. I always get the lighter portion and it's plenty for dinner. The service was fast and efficient. Danny, the gentleman who busses the tables, was so polite and even recognized me on my return visits. I appreciate the side / quieter room. This location had TVs which I've never seen at Jason's. Overall very pleased and is super convenient to the hotels behind it. read more

I've been to a few Jason's deli locations and hadn't been to one in a few years. In the past I have always ordered the sandwiches, wraps, and soup options. I opted to dine in and tried the Turkey royale sandwich, got the side of fruit and chips. Perfect lunch option. I really love that fruit dip as a sweet treat. I got a glass for water and honestly the water tasted a bit off, not sure if it was a taste coming from the cup itself but I didn't drink it. The restaurant itself looks a little old and lowkey could use a refresh/deep clean. Staff were friendly and received my food in a timely manner. read more

They all are dirty, outdated, not fresh and the salad bar is always has old looking food. I have given them plenty of chances.

I eat at Jason's about 3 times a week, and I am obsessed!!! The salad bar is always clean, delicious and amazing. The staff is always courteous and kind willing to help if needed. Manager Jimmie never misses a beat!! Seriously, I highly recommend this location. This place is my go to for a night when I just don't feel like cooking. 5 starts for sure! read more

Ok. Get ready to be surprised. This place gets 5 starts purely off SERVICE alone. I walk in for breakfast before work, I travel a LOT for work and it was close by. This place was in chaos, people filling about 12 different orders for lunch delivery, bags on almost every table. I think "here we go". A CASHIER greets me, super warm with a smile. They instantly take my order and no less than 4 people asked to help me and refill my water. Wait. This is Jason's deli still right? The manager came by to check on me, the ONE person while her team continued fill orders. What a pleasant surprise. Food was fresh, not rushed, and amazing. I'm sold for life on this location. read more
