Eat there last year it was very delicious sandwiches and soup and keep up the good work

At my Sisters suggestion, I finally tried Pot Belly after all these years. Decided to because she had a Buy One/Get One Free coupon on her "App". It was my time to pay, so I said Why Not. Save me some money. (LOL) Not that impressed. I tried the BLT. Size of the "Sub" style sandwiches are way smaller than Subway, Jason's Deli, and Jimmy Johns. Not impressed with the bread either. Too dank, hard, like stale old bread that's been sitting on the shelf for a while. DRY as patootle. Girl asked if I wanted peppers. Said Yes. Then asked if on the sandwich or on the side. Told her go ahead put them on the sandwich. Didn't really notice what she was doing at the time (Can't really see them making the sandwich behind that 6ft counter), but I could hear her scraping the bottom of the pan with her spoon as she was scooping up peppers for my BLT. I later realized she was scooping up all the trail ends up (seeds, last of the peppers, the CONCENTRATED build up on the bottom) and packed my BLT with the last of what was left in the pan. Guess she did this to get rid of the old to put fresh peppers in the pan. I'll get back to that later. Then we checked out. 2 Sandwiches, 2 .39 cent bags of chips(.39 cents if we were at 7/11), 2 Drinks. After they scanned my Sisters BOGO code, it was $30 something dollars. I looked at the Guy like Uhhh, Buy one, Get one free. Guys said Yes Sir, it's still $30 something. What in the hell?? Sandwiches a 3rd of the size than Subway, at 3 times the price. Never doing that again. Then we get home. I bit into that sandwich. What the living hell. I tasted nothing but PEPPERS. HOT Concentrated PEPPERS at that. That Girl just totally packed ALL that trail ends of that pan onto my sandwich. I love peppers on my sandwiches, but that was ridiculous. I scraped off what I could, but the damage was done. I still ate on it best I could, but the sandwich was absolutely ruined with all that pepper concentrate soaking into the sandwich on the way home. Bad first experience. But, I gave it a try a second time. This time I just had a medical procedure done. Could only eat soft foods the rest of the day. Sister suggested Soups from Pot Belly. Said OK, but NO PEPPERS this time. (LOL) Went through the drive through. Got 1 BOWL Chicken Pot Pie, 1 CUP of Potato. Close to $15. Kinda though $15 was high for soup, but you usually get a LOT of soup when ordering at restaurants, so I didn't think much of it. Didn't look in sack either on the way home. Boy was that a RIP OFF. The "CUP" is about the size of 1/2 a can of Campbell concentrate soup. The "BOWL" is almost the size of a can of Campbell ready to eat soup. I paid $15 for the same amount of canned Soup I could have gotten at United for around $3. I don't see myself going to Pot Belly ever again. I don't get the "APP" Generation that are paying these prices for such little food. Their APP gets them all sorts of rewards, but come on, is it really worth it to be spending $300 on Pot Belly's APP for $7 worth of rewards? No it is not. The APP Generation that is keeping Pot Belly in business just do not get this. read more

Used to be one of my favorite sandwich places. But recently the service is terrible and the app does not work. I've placed two orders on the app, was given a message (I will attach a picture) after that I NEVER RECEIVED AN EMAIL with any details. Really ruins your 30 minute lunch break when you order, leave work, go to the shop you placed an order at and they say there is no order under your name. I won't be going back. I really enjoy potbelly. I always get the same thing and it always tastes great. A regular Wreck on white. I like the sides they offer and my wife likes getting a salad. There used to be guy who made the sandwiches impeccable. Now the service is terrible. The last 4 times I've ordered from there the sandwiches are missing at least one if not multiple toppings. They hand it to you without mentioning the lack of ingredients. You get home and the sandwich is nothing like what you had prepared your stomach for. At the end of the day I'm willing to give my money in return for what I want, not for missing ingredients or substitutions that throw off the taste. Also employees definitely need some training in regards to courtesy. The two "in charge" I've spoken do not treat you as valued customers whatsoever. read more

EXTREMELY horrible. When i tell you that we ordered sandwiches and gabriela the worker didn't understand anything. the amount of times we had to repeat our order and to top it off she didn't even ask what toppings we wanted. THAT should have been the first red flag. Then when we get to the register the other worker asked what we had ordered so we began telling her exactly what we ordered AGAIN still didn't understand. she was ringing up our COMBOS separately and getting everything completely wrong. the manager or lead whatever they came to retake the order at the register. THEN everyone else had paid and gotten their meal before us. 45 minutes later the manager brings our food order, everything was wrong and completely a mess. HORRIBLE do not recommend read more

Tried Potbelly for the first time, wasn't impressed. Costs more, bread is less desirable, and fewer toppings to choose from than the other place. Ordering process was disjointed and annoying - I basically had to repeat my order for each "helper" in the line - and the wall between customers and employees makes it hard to hear them and nearly impossible to see what's going on. And why does every credit card reader ask for a tip? You didn't get my drink, you aren't going to refill anything, and you certainly aren't going to make sure my meal met my expectations. Next time, I'll probably hit a burger place instead - french fries are always better than a bag of chips. read more

On April 16,2019 my Wife ask me if I wanted to go to lunch with her at Potbelly's. She said that they had brought coupon's to Her business for the employees for a "buy one get one free" (there was no date on the coupon so it should be good anytime.) Well, when we checked out, the girl checking us out didn't know how to impute the coupon so she ask the MANAGER. He said the coupon wasn't good on this date. I didn't make a big deal out of it at the time because my wife eats there a lot and i didn't want to embarrass her by having the manager come over and explain why he was refusing a COUPON WITHOUT A DATE. Loved it. The shop has a good vibe with quality decor. If subway was designed by your industrial science teacher, Potbelly was designed by your rich grandmother. I had a sandwich, soup and soda (not the three S's from my NAVY days). The sandwich was bomb diggity and the soup was OK. There was a solo guitarist playing for tips, it was a very enjoyable meal. ($12.50) Wreck sandwich: Salami, roast beef, turkey, ham with melted Swiss cheese topped with everything but onions on toasted white bread. So good! Potbelly is a nicer Subway. This Potbelly isn't huge, but it's nice and cozy. They were friendly and quick. I had "A Wreck" it was good. It's a normal sandwich place so not too sure what else I can say. It was clean and the sandwiches we had were tasty. It's not too expensive. Love this place and went there often when I lived in Lubbock. Even though I went through the drive-thru, the staff got to know me AND my dog. The staff only got orders wrong when they were new. When anything was wrong, the managers fixed it immediately upon notification of the mistake. The food is good, soooo much better than the other sandwich shops on the West End/Milwaukee area of Lubbock. There's nothing better than a "Wreck" with bacon and the hot peppers. Top it off with some ice cream and your belly will be happy

Im not a huge fan of sandwiches but after eating here I will definitely be returning. The environment is very friendly and the workers are very welcoming. One stuck out to me personally her name is Jessica and she was so helpful she made my experience there a memorable one she was very sweet, funny, and such a caring person you can just tell she loves her job and showing people compassion while she does it. For $16 is expected the "BIG" sandwich to atleast be a little bigger than maybe a foot long from subway, but I was wrong. Little to no toppings were put on my sandwich so I basically got just meat and cheese. For the price you would think you get more, or maybe chips or a drink but nothing. read more

I might just be giving this five stars because I can now get potbellys through a drive thru. Regardless, it is fully deserving of every star. I'm really picky. I hate fast food. So anywhere with a drive thru that I actually like is a God send. I fully believe the good Lord blessed me personally with the gift of Potbellys with a DRIVE THRU on the south side of town. I went tonight to this location at 9:10 to the drive thru and it said that they were closed. When it clearly said they close at 9:30. After I went inside to ask if they were closed then the male worker then took my order but failed to inform me that all they could take was cash by this time it was 9:20 still NOT 9:30. If you are gonna close at 9 then don't put on on your website that you close at 9:30 I know at my restaurant if we would close before the time we are supposed to close we would be fired. read more

We love Potbelly's but this location has something other don't, a great staff. Y'all, a good staff/customer service is hard to find, especially in Lubbock. I don't remember the first guys name, but he was awesome and super friendly! The next employee we encounter was Rudy and he was great! So helpful and extra busy. He never stopped working, and had a great attitude. He told us his name several times and said if we needed anything to let him know. Since we've been here he's made sandwiches, rang us up, got soups, checked on customers and cleaned tables. We'll be back for the food and the great staff! read more

The sandwiches are delicious and most of the staff are friendly here. The downside for me is the cross-contamination between meats, cheese, and veggies. The first time I ordered a vegetarian sandwich they used a knife that had remnants of meat on it to spread the mayo. After seeing this, I asked for a meat-free knife to be used when cutting, and she obliged without a problem. The second time I ordered a veggie sandwich the person making it had just finished making several meat sandwiches and his gloves were dripping with the juices. I asked him if he wouldn't mind using clean gloves, and again, he obliged, but he seemed annoyed by the request. I also noticed him set my bread down in a pile of meat scraps (not intentionally, I don't think, but just by the nature of the messy workspace from the lunch rush). So, while the food tasted good (I love their bread!), I would hesitate to go back because I'm highly likely to find an errant piece of turkey or ham in my food. read more
