Love JJ's food, but their delivery is always late. Sometimes very late, even if you order over an hour early. Not cool when you only have 30 minutes for lunch. And, if you need to call to check on an order, forget about it. No one answers the phone. However, their food is great, and the delivery folks are always very friendly. First off I ordered the pickup option for my meal (15 minutes before showing up) and when I went inside my order was still not ready. I just had the worst experience I've ever had in a drive through establishment (and that's saying something). If owners read these, the time was 5:46 PM on Saturday, July 2nd. I ordered a Giant Big John with no mayo and no onion and pulled around to the window. I gave them my card, and waited about 10 minutes for my sandwich to be made. They gave me a regular size sandwich, and other than the size being incorrect, it wasn't even the type of sandwich that we ordered. I waived at several workers in the window, and was ignored. Finally, after holding up the drive through waiting for someone to talk to me, a manager came over to the window and asked me what was wrong. I told her (I believe she said her name was Tyra) that I only got half of my sandwich. I was told to keep the sandwich and my correct sandwich would be made and she walked off. Then someone came over and asked me to pay more money. I said I already paid for my sandwich, and she walked off without a word as well. Minutes later, the manager comes back and tells me that I didn't pay for the Giant, that I only paid for the Regular. I told her that the menu clearly states that the Giant Big John (#2) is $13. She is trying to get me to pay $22. She looks at me like I'm stupid and tells me that the $22 is "for all the extra stuff that I ordered". I asked her to show me or tell me what I ordered that costs more money. She walks off again without saying anything, again. Comes back a minute later and tells me that the sandwich that I'm asking for costs $22 and if I want the sandwich, she has to ring me up for the extra cost. I tell her nevermind, I don't want the sandwich if its going to be $10 more than what the menu says, and I tell her to forget the sandwich and just give me a refund. She walks off again without saying anything. She then comes back and says "If you want a refund, give me the sandwich back". My jaw dropped from her attitude. I took the sandwich out of my wifes hands and handed it to her, she said "ok, we'll give you that refund". I told her that I needed a receipt for proof of refund. She walks off again, and comes back with a receipt. Worse. Experience. Ever. If you're in the customer service business, learn your craft. I live exactly one mile from this Jimmy John's location, and called for a delivery on two sandwiches. The employee tells me that they can't deliver to me because I'm located outside of their delivery range. It's not the employee's fault, so I file a complaint on their online service form about their remarkably poor delivery plan. In their response to me, employee Kelly says "Jimmy John's was built around fast delivery. If the store near you won't deliver to you, you are out of our designated delivery area. This is not a personal thing, it's a strategic decision. We have a very disciplined strategy with delivery and have found this to be successful in the past. Going out of our area makes those in the area get delayed." Not only are they the sandwich delivery guys that don't really want to deliver, but they're also the ones that can't come up with anything but an asinine boilerplate response to issues one might have with their stores. I really would give it a no star. I had placed an order via phone for delivery. They said it might be a while and I agreed to wait. 2 hrs passed by when I decided to call and check on my order. Long story short I was told my order was voided due to being over the delivery radius I guess. As any customer you would expect a call back saying that your order that was placed was canceled...I had to find out by calling and checking on my order. The owner said they were too busy and were short handed. So they are too busy to provide good customer service. Every other franchise location I've eaten at puts a proper amount of meat in the sandwich. This location was much less and very thinly sliced. At 1:30pm there were 10 people working in this location. Called them back, and their response was "you can either pay for delivery, or we can just give you credit when you come back later". I ordered a simple sandwich off the menu at the drive through window, with only one alteration, NO mayo. The guy who took my order did not repeat it back to me, and I didn't confirm that he understood, so it is partly my fault that the sandwich, which was done very quickly, came back with mayo. Ordered 2 unwitched sandwiches. The Order was wrong, I called and spoke to an employee, she was nice and helped me as much as she could. Then I asked for the manager what could be done; Option 1 is go back and pick up right order but I couldn't because I only had 30 min for lunch.
