They were one of many options, but I was drawn to them because of their great reviews and strong social media presence. Their website describes them as a family-owned shop that treats customers like family, with transparent communication, experienced technicians, and convenient service, and I can honestly say all of that has been true in my experience. Their customer service and communication are excellent. They go above and beyond by taking pictures and, when appropriate, even videos to explain any recommended repairs, which really helps build confidence and understanding. Trustworthiness is one of the most important factors when choosing a mechanic, and while trust is built over time, I already feel this shop is very trustworthy. Their pricing feels fair for the quality of work they provide and is comparable to other similar repair shops. I find myself to be a "stickler" and very detail oriented individual that frankly looks and expects to get what I pay for. Hands down, I have found Mazda's Plus to be a facility that will truly go above and beyond to not only ensure you are taking cared of, but ensure pricing is not only fair, but truly reasonable. I have taken vehicles from my Mercedes to my daughter's Toyota Camry and at all times the service has exceeded both my and others expectations always. Don't be fooled by reviews talking about " I saw a dent", I get that may be subjective, but the true test is the overall service, repairs and diagnosis one receives; and I will tell you out of 8 different family and friends vehicles, each time has been outstanding. I brought my car in on A Wednesday and you had it for a three days did nothing to it, next week told me it was ready came in, it started you are right about that, then it ran out of gas you guys put gas in it. It wouldn't not start so I left it you suggested I tow it To my house, why would I do that if its at a mechanic shop. Next Monday I Call now it Needs a Starter. It went from its ready to Now its not ready very fast. Worst shop in town go somewhere else save your money.This is the worst shop in Modesto. Do not take your cars to this shop. If you like stories then take your car to this shop. They had my car here for 11 work days and didn't fix it, kept telling me stories my dad went to take my mom to the airport, my dad went racing, I am short handed one of my guys is buying a house, one of my guys got hurt had to take him to the E.R This place sucks. I called John because my 1957 T-Bird was not running right and it needed for a trip to Santa Cruz in a couple of weeks. John answered his phone on vacation and gave me a couple of things to try while I waited for him to return. I set an appointment and it was good thing because by the time I finished working on my car it wouldn't start at all. I had it towed to John and he not only got it to start but also found other things that needed repaired. I never doubted Johns honesty and when he was done my car was running than ever. I have to say when I did own my Mazda 6 Scott and everyone down at Mazda Plus has always helped me out in a timely and in a family setting. I love coming to them they are honest and will do the job correctly the first time. I will continue to go to them even with my currently vehicle that are older and need some tlc. I had a 1999 Mazda Protege for many years, and I when ever I had a problem with it I brought to Mazda's Plus. I'm very happy with the service I get from Mazda's Plus, and I find that Scott is great to work with. I like how they can quickly diagnose the problem and fix, compared to the dealer. Now that I have a 2010 Genesis Coupe, I bring it to Mazda's Plus if I have any problems. I am very happy with Mazda's Plus, and I would recommend them very highly. read more
