He got my car Monday morning called me later that day to tell me the problem it had 2 misfires, I also needed oil changed, he called me Tuesday evening to say car was ready I was overjoyed bc it's my only transportation to work. AC service, not working. Recommended replacement of the compressor and condenser. Done on time, and under estimated cost. Very appreciated. Still working after a week. Good people and shop. Highly recommended. Normally would just replace the compressor but was advised pieces of the failed compressor could be in the system so replacing the condenser was advised also. Father and son lie to keep the bbb review clean, even if they loose a good customer. If your smart before you take your car there take pictures of your vehicle before taking it there, better to have proof. Years ago the lady I caregiver for took her car here, only to find out 300 miles shows up on Odometer. She brings it up to Scott who denied using her car for picking up parts and she was Quite upset and she voiced it to Scott's dad the owner. He offered her a premium oil change to try and calm her down. I thought he was being understanding but, he would lie just to keep his business Unblemished. Take the risk if you like, but you have better options going to Central Valley Mazda at least with a Reputable dealership you most likely won't get lied to. read more

Had my Mazda towed here for a clutch issues. The quote the offered me was pretty standard for the job ($700 for clutch/flywheel replacement with parts I provided.) They also said that it may not even be that, if the fix ended up being simpler than replacement. Turns out after diagnosis, it did need to be replaced, but they also notice my rear main seal was going back and replaced it FREE of charge. This shop goes above and beyond to save the customer money and make sure the job their doing gets the attention it needs to ensure it lasts. I called John because my 1957 T-Bird was not running right and it needed for a trip to Santa Cruz in a couple of weeks. John answered his phone on vacation and gave me a couple of things to try while I waited for him to return. I set an appointment and it was good thing because by the time I finished working on my car it wouldn't start at all. I had it towed to John and he not only got it to start but also found other things that needed repaired. I never doubted Johns honesty and when he was done my car was running than ever. I purchased a very used Mazda for my daughter last year. The car had always sounded kind of loud, but a mobile mechanic said the fuel injectors are dirty or plugged and recommended I add a fuel injector cleaner to a couple tanks of gas and if the problem doesn't clear out to have the injectors professionally cleaned. As soon as I drove the car in Scout said I hear your problem. He proceeded to explain the problem very clearly and then showed me the problem (major repair common to abused Mazdas). He was concerned why the cars trouble lights weren't showing the problem and found the bulb was out (it never would have passed a smog test). I felt so confident in his diagnostic skills and his legitimate care for the car that I told him to fix all he found. I was also surprised to find the shop had many non-Mazda cars and trucks in it. So, Thursday the car goes in for two days and hopefully they don't find any more problems. I need my daughter to have a reliable car so I'm willing to bit the bullet and get all the repairs done at one time. Hopefully, it doesn't break the bank. On the upside, they supply a free Uber to get me to and from my car if needed. read more

Brought our car to have the A/C repaired. Scott and his crew found the problem within hours of dropping the car off. They told me my condenser needs to be replaced and was able to repair the car the next day. That's really quick service. In the 10+ years I've owned my Mazda the check engine light has never come on. I brought it to Mazda's (sic) Plus for simple, minor electrical work. Right afterward, the engine light came on and has stayed on ever since. I can put 2 and 2 together so I have not returned to Mazda's Plus, I will take somewhere else instead. The cherry on top is that I just received this email from them: "20% Off For The Pesky Check Engine Light". That's right, a coupon for a check engine light diagnostic. These guys are so efficient and knowledgeable! They will not screw you over which is the best part! I have had nothing but good experiences here, and I have brought my '06 Mazda 3 to be serviced 4 times now. My first time here is the reason I keep coming back. If you know anything about changing a headlight on one of these foreign cars, you know you can't do it yourself; and the car dealership wanted to charge something ridiculous. So when I called Mazda's Plus, Scott took care of me. Couldn't have been happier. My last visit I had brakes, battery, and oil done and John was nice enough to give me a ride to work and pick me up even though they were short staffed. He also took the time to show me how much break pad I had left, which was like 2mm. My car is in excellent running condition after their service, according to another mechanic outside the company.
