We have been going here for a couple of years since this place was in the side of a service station and loved it. However, it seems that the quality of the food is declining. We got a couple of favorites and were surprised that they had gator bites on the menu and were very disappointed. We got 3 gator nuggets on top of a baskey full of chips that seemed like they had been at the bottom of the frier for 6 hours. The greatest customer service ever, so much so that my kids told me that the wonderful guy at the counter was their new best friend (I wish I caught his name because he was so wonderful) We didn't even get in the door before the owner jumped at the chance to help us, seriously who does that?! I tried this for the first time after driving past it constantly for a year. I'm gluten free and love cajun food, but worried it would be hard for me to eat there. I messaged their Facebook first to see what options they had and immediately got a voice message explaining how they do gluten free options. Some things are ready right if you walk in but for things like pasta, or anything fried, you'll want to call ahead. I ended up getting the smoked chicken po'boy (bunless) and a side of jambalaya and it more than met my expectations. My husband got the cheesesteak, hush puppies and beignets. I've already told multiple people they need to go there when in Logan. I even bought the seasoning they sell at the front and use it quite a bit! I'd recommend this local place to anyone. read more

Just amazing. Have tried most everything except for pasta and crawfish boil. Everything is great. Poboys of every stripe. Boudin and gator whenever they are available. Decadent burgers with slow-cooked pork, or with bone marrow. The latter sounded odd but boy is it good. Red beans and rice used to be a special, but now you can get it every day! Fantastic. Have had the crawfish in another dish and will have to go when they have the boils and have someone show me how to eat them that way. And not least the owners have a big heart and support the community and first responders. Had a gator po'boy, which was on special. It was phenomenal. May have been the best sandwich I've ever had in Logan. I'm making a point to send everyone I meet to MayMoes because the food quality is off the charts and the people are very friendly. I must say this was my second time eating at MayMoes. The first time was "just okay" in part because I didn't care for the ordering process. That has all been fixed now though with the ordering station inside the MayMoes part of the building, and someone brings your food to you. We tried southern food for the first time today and it blew the competition out of the water. We got three different plates to try, steak-N-grits, smoked chicken Poboy, and Cajun Pastrami burger with a side of slaw and jambalaya, let me tell you, this food is incredible. The Poboy was really good. My favorite thing I tried so far. I also loved the red beans & rice. I've never had grits. They were good. There was shrimp, thick bacon meat, chicken, mushrooms & onion in a cream sauce. A million calories but so good. The beignets were warm, fluffy & tons of powdered sugar. Yum. I wish I'd gotten the name of the man who helped us. He was so nice. Informative, attentive & fun. He invited us to a crawfish boil next Friday. He was great. Made me laugh. Great atmosphere. Just visiting and very happy we walked across the Walmart parking lot to eat here. First the people are very nice and they check on you at your table. Food always tastes better with good service. We had the bunless pastrami double burger with well done veggies. Veggies were very tasteful and the burger with lettuce, tomato and pickles was quite filling. They freely gave me my extra pickles half way through the meal. Only thing that would have been better is if the double burger was double cheese. The menu is diverse, a traveler must stop! read more

This is GOOD southern Louisiana style food. The employees are very positive and engaging. When they come by the table and ask how everything is, it feels like they really care and would actually be responsive rather than at most places where the staff is just checking the box. The chicken is covered in a sauce French fries normal - good but normal. Another got pulled pork it was delicious. My picky 13 yr old chicken fingers he wasn't a fan I think maybe too crispy? We had spent the day up in northern Utah, and did a search for good food. This place popped up and got me very interested. The only problem, it was 20+ miles from our location. But that didn't stop us. And we were rewarded for the drive to Logan. If you're looking for some amazing Cajun food, then this is the place. First off, the place looks new and is very clean. Plenty of seating, and the best staff you'll find anywhere. The menu gave us plenty of options for all different appetites. I ordered the Jamrito (I think that's what it's called). It's a burrito stuffed with jambalaya and pulled pork. It was great! Filling and tasty. My wife got the shrimp and grits, which was incredible. I'm not a grits fan, but these were so good, I kept stealing food from her plate. One of my kids got the frog legs, and really liked them. I'll admit I didn't try them. And my other son got the pastrami burger. I did taste some of the pastrami and it was delicious. When I say the staff was the best, I'm not kidding. They surprised us with a batch of chocolate filled beignets. It's something they had experimented with and wanted us to try. So delicious. This is one place that we all want to go back to again. I was in town to visit my sister and I always like to take a look at the local restaurants when I travel somewhere new and I do love me some cajun food so I was excited to try MayMoe's. We were immediately greeted with excitement when we entered and the gentleman up front was incredibly friendly. We were quickly able to order our food and find a seat. I ordered the cajun pastrami burger with hushpuppies and my sister got the fried shrimp po boy with jambalaya. Hers came out first but my burger was not far behind. The staff apologized very enthusiastically several times and I assured them that it was no problem at all. Despite that, they brought us out a basket of complimentary fresh beignets. Not only was the customer service excellent, the food was very tasty. My burger was juicy and had good flavor. I added their MayMoe's sauce on it for a little extra. The pastrami was a bit fatty so it was a little difficult to bite into without pulling it out of the burger but still very yummy. The hushpuppies were perfect. Crispy on the outside, fluffy and flavorful on the inside. My sister said her po boy was delicious and that the jambalaya was packed with flavor. The beignets were also very good and fluffy on the inside. I found myself very surprised by such a great Cajun restaurant in a small little town in Utah. Baked beans were lukewarm. Jambalaya was basically seasoned rice with spices, one nugget of chicken. No one serving, prepping or cooking food wore a mask. Upon entering and before seating, you would order your food next to the gas station cashier desk. The owner is down to earth and a true Southern Louisiana Man. He knows his meats, he knows whats good, and it's always fresh. He doesn't own a fridge people! We ordered: Roast Beef Sandwich: Po Boy Style most tender roast beef I have ever tasted. So I finally tried this place. I heard both positive and negative comments and now I get to give my own comments. Based on one visit I would rate this place as average. It wasn't bad but nothing to write home about. I tried the catfish PoBoy with slaw. More bread than catfish but the catfish was decent. The slaw was not good to me...a bit too much vinegar but I could blame my taste buds for that. Try it and maybe you will like it. My daughter had the Mac N Cheese and it was pretty good if you are comparing it to the boxed stuff. Service was friendly and helpful. They checked on us during the meal so no issues with this category. I will try this place again but if the food doesn't start wowing me there won't be a lot of reasons to keep going. read more
