We love supporting local mom-and-pop spots, so we decided to stop by Angie's on our way through Logan. ​Right off the bat, the greeting was warm and attentive--the servers checked on our drink orders before we even had a chance to look over the menu options! Once we were seated, someone came over to take our order almost immediately. Since we had just sat down, we asked for a quick minute to look things over, but it ended up being about 15 minutes before anyone returned to take our order. ​When the food arrived, it was fine--nothing mind-blowing, but perfectly decent comfort food. A nice touch is that they offer a complimentary mini ice cream cone when you finish your meal, which was a fun perk. ​All in all, it was an okay experience. It's a classic local staple, but given the hit-or-miss timing with service and standard food, we probably won't make a point to stop by again on future trips. read more

It's Sunday morning, the place was busy as expected. The employees knew what to expect. The routine and execution was on point. Everyone worked together to deliver exceptional service. My coffee cup was never even close to empty. With a refill being offered throughout the meal. People were cheerful and kind. Decent brunch food. I appreciated that the side salad had two ranch cups and lots of croutons, since I dislike when places skimp on the side salads. The scone was my favorite item. I went to go eat and I was super excited! I ordered what I usually do and it comes with a side pickle. I looked at my pickle and there was a tiny bug. I almost ate a bug with my pickle and as a fresh postpartum mom who was starving I was very disgusted at this tiny bug. i love a good local diner and angie's hit the spot! we had a part of four and were seated within 10 minutes, despite being busy. i got their nitro cold florentine omelette and it was packed with veggies and very big. the hash browns were crispy and buttery. the pancake was fluffy and soft too. the coffee was just okay and didn't have a strong coffee flavor. i'd come back to try other items on the menu. a great value for $15! staff were friendly and they come by often to fill up water and coffee. read more

Dang, this place slaps. One of the best diner experiences I've had in a long time... coming from a Jersey girl. Was hiking in the area and wanted some good food after. There was a bit of a wait, but way less than they quoted. Vibe is classic, old school diner. We ordered sandwiches and chicken tender dinner. Both sandwiches were great and the fries were the good fries. IYKYK. I got the 5 chicken tender dinner, and it was HUGE. The chicken was light, flavorful, and freshly breaded. Angie's IS an institution in Logan UT. Families from all over the US and abroad come here to see their kids attending Utah State University. Angie's is the first restaurant we dine at when we arrive. There's wait times up to an hour but you're there to visit, and there is no better time to get extra face time with your kid! I would describe the menu as American comfort food. I'm stuck on breakfast, the Denver, hash browns, sourdough with a DC is my SOP. Wife gets biscuits and gravy, scrambled egg, sausage plate, same with Sonny. I followed it up the next morning, same deal. Great service, parking...kinda tight lot but a short walk from any surrounding lot, which there are plenty. A minute from the dorms and a happy place to be with fresh, hot food. It's a great place to eat good food and hang out with your college student! read more

Sabor is the best guy.. period. Angie's is a wonderful place to get some breakfast or a bite to eat at any point. The portions are large enough to take some home for a second meal. The food was prepared perfectly and the service was on point. The server checked in with us often and made sure our waters and coffee were toped off. Sabor (spelling) the Owner is awesome and I made sure to let him know I appreciated his positive energy and the way he made everyone feel welcome... like family. The restaurant was clean and had that classic diner feel... like you were at home. You can tell who the regulars were and they love to have conversations as I am from out of town and probably stuck out in the crowd. What a great place. Coming from Los Angeles.. I was a pleasant experience and a welcomed change from the "normal" vibe I experience when in my home town. Thank you again for the wonderful meal and overall experience at your amazing restaurant. This place has completely changed within the past 3 years. Food is awful. Service is lacking. And, pricing is through the roof. They just do not care anymore. Guess that is what happens when you make money hand over fist because the place is always ridiculously busy(and obviously so busy that it cannot be CLEANED- as it is filthy). Sad, because this used to be a very "warm" and "homey" place. We will not be returning. It is no longer "Angie's", it is just a dirty little small town truckstop equivalent. read more

I'm excited I finally got a chance to eat at Angie's! I'll have to go back to trying cleaning the sink another time as we were just driving through time and we're just craving a late breakfast. I ordered a chicken fajita omelette with country style potatoes and a scone. Absolutely delicious. I cleaned my plate and loved every bite. I should add that I had my omelette with a whole bowl of salsa because I asked the waitress, Lizzy, for a lot of salsa and she delivered. I don't understand how Angie's could ever get a bad review. PLEASE SEE FOR YOURSELF! They are always busy, which tells you something. People continue to come back over and over again. Even when people are lined up at the door, it takes less time than you would expect and much less time than ANY other busy restaurant. Angie's is a great example of how customer service should be. Lots of help, well trained staff, great food, and always willing to make things right. Even through Covid, Angies has survived because people want it to. Definitely deserves high marks! read more

A favorite for the locals of Cache Valley, and I can definitely see why. My first hit of the restaurant's charm was the fact that it's got the signature old school diner design, not of a 50's burger and fries joint but rather the 70's vinyl booth seating, false marble table coverings, a mishmash of textures and bleached interior design colors... to some, this looks dated and in desperate need of some lipstick, but this is usually a sign for me that the food is going to be awesome. Décor and atmosphere is important, and Angie's definitely didn't neglect this, but I could tell the emphasis was on the food. The place was also packed. That's an obvious sign that this restaurant is scratching some serious itch for the locals. This is the type of place you hit up at 3 in the morning after a killer fun night with friends that you don't want to end, as well as grabbing a great breakfast bright and early with the family. My group ordered mostly breakfast for dinner, as you can order their breakfast at any time of day (poached eggs do have a curfew though). They have a multi-page menu filled with breakfast, lunch, and dinner items. To be honest, I found at least 2 - 3 items from each section that I wanted to order! They also include a couple of sections of you're wanting to eat lighter and watch calories. The service was good overall; the staff was young and vibrant and our waitress was friendly and attentive, but it took longer than usual to get our food (my boyfriend and the rest of our group were locals who frequent Angie's regularly). I would estimate about 20 - 30 minute wait after ordering. When the food arrived, the mixed smells and vibrant color of the plates got me nothing short of excited. The chicken tenders were crispy and piping hot, steaming and tender on the inside but you get a beautiful crunch with each bite from the breading. The tater tots were pretty standard but still good. I dropped a star on this review due to a couple of factors. Firstly, my biscuits and gravy were not served to me hot, or really warm at all. I figured they were made first, but had to wait for the rest of our table's orders before it got brought to the table. The flavor was good, but it would be instantly better if served hot. The hash browns were not spiced or flavored at all, which I suppose is left intentionally so the customer can season them themselves, so it's not that big of an issue. I ordered my eggs over medium and received them over-easy. So if you're more of a stickler about your eggs than I am, make sure to emphasize how you want them prepared. Overall, the place was great and I'll definitely be back! Going with good company truly enhances the experience there. read more
