I mean, think about it: You can pair them with anything--cream cheese, ham/bacon, and happiness; they come in many different varieties--so you can trick yourself into thinking your being healthy with 9-grain whole wheat (when in reality, it's still carbs); but they are still filling and tasty--so basically, why not? Einstein's knows how to do it. They have gourmet sandwiches, bagels by the dozen, and just a good old fashioned toasted bagel with cream cheese all ready for you to purchase. A variety of other food items is offered as well; juice, chips, baked goods, they even offer dog treats! **Just be careful, although they might look like human treats--they DEFINITELY don't taste like human treats (Trust the homie who accidentally mixed that one up).** The workers were just okay. They could have better people skills, that was my one and only complaint. We were there shortly after the store opened and it was really clear the dining room and restrooms had not been cleaned and look like its been a while. Ants on the floor, restrooms disgusting. They have a good menu, but their service and quality has significantly dropped in quality.... I've come at 9:30 am and they had 6 bagels. I've been a month later and they were completely out of bagels and closed by 10 am. My wife went with our kids, stood in line and waited only to be told they were out of bagels.. they consistently mess our orders up. I'm really tired of giving my money to them at this point. This has to be the most popular and trafficked breakfast spot in town on most days. It's absolutely crazy how many people, and huge catering orders it gets. Which makes sense, the food is top notch, the baked goods are completely addicting, and despite the crazy volume, Dany keeps it all running like a machine, and CJ manages to keep half the city fed with the most addicting muffins of all time. I went yesterday had a bagel left and forgot my sweater. They close at 2:00 and would have left a message but no machine. I called the next morning to ask about my sweater. I ordered 4 bagels. 2 with light smear. Man they are stingy. My light smear looked like a tiny coat of butter (that's what my husband thought) and his (regular smear) had hardly any on it. I ordered a medium hot latte. They did one shot and the rest was milk. Didn't even taste like coffee. And my husbands ice chai was so sweet it tasted like chemicals. I have something I have to get off my chest. It's been weighing on my conscience for a very long time now: I've lived in New York City - in Manhattan itself for over 3 years. I've been to the world-famous H&H bagels. In fact, I used to live just 5 blocks from H&H. And you know what? I actually think Einstein Bros Bagels (a chain!) has far superior bagels! There, I've said it. Does this make me a bad person? I've tried bagels from mom and pop shops to chains to supposedly "the world's best" bagels in New York. And my favorite bagels are Einstein Bros bagels. You can never go wrong with the Spinach Florentine bagel. Or try the 6 Cheese bagel as a spinach, mushroom, cheese breakfast sandwich. I LOVE Einstein Bros Bagels! The Asiago, Spinach Florentine, and Six Cheese all with chive schmear are my favorites but over the years they have gotten so skimpy on the cream cheese. I started eating Einstein bagels back in '96ish and they loaded them up back them but today there was hardly anything on it, to the point where you could even taste the cream cheese. I got hooked into Einstein Bagels during my Executive MBA time in the University of Utah. The school served Einstein Bagels for breakfast prior to the start of the session. My favorite bagels are normal Asiago bagel, six-cheese bagel, or spinach Fiorentina bagel. While my favorite smear is Jalapeño smear... I always requested for "double toasted" with my bagel in order to have a crispy outside bagel with soft inside. My six year old son would normally like the bagel bites (cinnamon one) or plain bagel with strawberry smear. He loved it. Bald man that works here is kind of shady. I came in to use a hooked discount that let's you get a buy one get one. He applied the coupon but right before he swiped my card he removed the coupon and said nothing about it until I confronted him about it. He refunded me afterwards. I don't know how many times I have gone in there and have had to wait for the lazy apathetic employees to realize that some one is standing at the counter waiting to be served. I like the food at einstiens, you can eat healthy there. I do not like the service, I have had a couple bad experiences with the staff. One time a staff made a rude comment about me while I was within earshot. Another staff overheard and apologized and said "she didn't mean it" I believe the staff who made the comment was the manager. This review would be much more accurate if I could give it zero stars. I've been into Einstein before because they have some pretty good bagels and the staff has been kind to me. I came in today and was quickly helped by a young lady who was very kind and an exceptional employee. I was placing a very large order of bagels and multiple schmears and she was doing a great job of keeping up with me. I had a hungry wife and child waiting in the car who I was confirming orders with through the phone. The process had been fast and my order was almost complete and we were just waiting for a few bagels that had come out of the oven. This would have been an otherwise lovely experience until the manager decided he wanted to step in on my order. He approached in a very frustrated manner and berated his exceptional employee right in front of me and the rest of the customers in the store. He told her to stop serving me and that the process was taking too long even though it had been less than 2 minutes(Once again it was a large order which should have been viewed as good business). She tried to explain that we were just grabbing the last two bagels and he nearly pushed her out of the way and told her to find someone else to help. He then squared up to me and more or less began to insult me and tell me how terrible of a customer I was because he felt my order was taking too long. I ignored his rude comments and body language since I was almost done and now very ready to leave and asked him to add my last two bagels. Without even looking he said there were no more of those bagels available and that I couldn't have them(Even though his employee had just confirmed that there was a fresh shelf full of them). I was now completely sick of his belittling and pathetic attitude and was sorry to see that there wasn't a more suitable manager at this location to appropriately handle this "out of order" customer. Instead of arguing about the bagel I quickly browsed the other bagels to hurry and finish and just said you can add those two.. Which I definitely didn't want. He shoved them into my bag and walked over to the checkout. I then stepped over to the schmears to select some cream cheese for my bagels and he yelled across the store for everyone to hear, "This is UNBELIEVABLE!" At this point I should have left him with my order in hand and walked out the front door. Never in my life have I been treated more disrespectfully especially as a customer and even more so by a store manager. The only reason I grabbed my schmear and continued to check out with him is because I didn't want to come back to my hungry wife and child empty handed. He continued to stare me down without apology and I still to this day have never walked away from a store feeling more enraged, spit on, and upset. A man with so little patience and tact should never be in a management position. His employees were excellent and he was doing nothing but criticizing them. His customers were doing nothing but bringing good business and he was attacking them. If there is a store owner of this Logan location I would seriously reconsider your management and get rid of him. He's a large man who doesn't look like he fits in at a bagel shop and you can't miss him. If he is the store owner than he would be better off not showing up and letting his employees do their job unsupervised because they were excellent. It's so out of character for me to ever take the time to post a review but I never want anyone else to have to experience what I did. read more
