Reuben Sandwich
Vickie J.

Fresh sandwiches with fresh ingredients. The place was clean with limited inside seating. I got a Ruben on white and it was not good. The bun didn't hold up with the sandwich. The corned beef was in strips similar to carrots sticks. And I had to check for the sauerkraut since I couldn't taste it at all. It was weird sandwich. It came hot and was dressed like a regular sub sandwich. I would not get this sandwich again. We also got a combo sub. It was good but the bun gets all soggy and icky and doesn't hold up. To be honest, this was one step above Subway to us. Not good enough to try again.

Really delicious deli with some unique offerings and a back-in-time feel. I got the Logan Hero (turkey/roast beef) and my husband got Roger's Special (turkey/smoked beef)- the meat and toppings are definitely the stars, with the bread in a supporting role. You opt out of whatever toppings you don't want. Half a sandwich was definitely sufficient- the other half was thoroughly enjoyed for lunch the next day. I hadn't tried smoked beef before and would get it again- yum! Service was friendly and there's plenty of parking within the block.

Logan's Hero - Full-the other half already got eaten lol

The food was amazing. The service was fantastic. I'm newish to Logan, but my husband has lived here his entire life and was hesitant to go back after ownership changed hands. I wanted a sandwich and he won't eat at subway so he took me here. We're both excited to go back again! They also have a fantastic rewards program.

**Outta towner review** Logan's heroes, a little outdated inside, I guess it adds to the charm. You walk in, a slight sour smell, possibly from the pickles, or possibly the carpet dated pre-1992. I ordered a full Turkey Delight (Turkey-Turkey Pastrami). Meat seems to be a little lower quality, and I'm not sure what/if I actually got turkey pastrami, but the veggies were good (can't go wrong?). Wheat bread was fresh and tasty. Quick service, nice staff including an extra bag of chips they they threw in (along with a root beer, but I insisted to pay on behalf of work covering the expense anyways). Overall, a good meal, nothing to go out of your way for but the staff makes it a friendly, local place you're fine checking out one time only to check the box.

Complimentary chips with every sandwich. You can't go wrong with a classic Turkey and Pastrami.

Logan's Heroes. It's great, as long as you don't bring it home for breakfast the next day. Let me elaborate. The sandwiches are quite yummy. I recommend just the classic Turkey and Pastrami, you can ask for certain condiments NOT to be on it. It's slightly backwards from your typical "What would you like on it?" The owner is a classy fella too. He is fun, hardworking, and funny too. We like him, he's a dang gem. Back to the sandwiches. They really did taste great; however, they are LARGE and in CHARGE. I took half home and when I went to finish it the next morning, it was soaked in the oil from the sandwich. My bread was sopping wet--eeee dee dee--which does not make for the best texture. It took a while to get our food. Usually only the owner is working though, and I can tell he feels rushed all the time. So, just cut him a little slack and enjoy the moment. TIPS & TRICKS: * Make friends with the owner, he is funny and knows what makes a sandwich good. * They only take cash, so be prepared with a wad of change! * Limited parking for both your car and your butt. Try parking on the road out front, and if there's a load of people placing their orders, be sure to park one friend in line and the other at a table while you wait.

Friendly staff and tasty sandwiches. I plan to return when in town. Great bread and solid meat portions are a winner.

The sandwiches are awesome and they have a random tray of baklava. Best baklava I've had if you can get it. I think it sells out often.

Heroes is hands down the best sub shop in the area. Great service. Well known and frequented by us locals for good reason a true gem.

Every bite felt was the perfect marriage of flavors, they really care about doing burgers right. We keep a running list of the best burgers we've tried (and it's a competitive list), and this one didn't just make it, it shot straight to the top. This is not your average fast food burger... not even close.

Why does everything they sell have to have aioli or arugula or some weird overbearing sauce. Would have been happier with a d nice burger with at least an option to get lettuce/tomato and onion on it. Our party of 3 tried different burgers and we all had complaints. Sauce WAY too spicy, the crispy onions on my Bob's burger looked like something that can out of a can and not real onion crisps and the other was just plain bland. All burgers were bland. Buns felt like day-old buns from the grocery store and were barely toasted. Clearly made in a rush. Fries were so-so regular fries were a bit over-done and the garlic fries were OK . Biggest complaint is the brice - grossly overpriced for the quality of food. Making burgers with odd-ball ingredients doesn't make it gourmet - just weird. This place needs to step up its game an focus on quality food, not just weird burgers..

The workers were all too busy talking and laughing to take our order, so we stood there for 5-10 minutes until we got our order in. I ordered a club sandwich without mayo which is simple, and when they got down and asked if I wanted to have mayo, I again said no. She then proceeded to put mayo all over it even though I tried stopping her as she spread it. She then attempted to wipe it off (which obviously wasn't successful). When I asked for a new one, she just looked at me like I was dumb and said that she had gotten it all off. They did not make me another one! They then didn't have bacon, so we had to wait 15 minutes for the bacon, and then when it was done, it took another 5 or so minutes for them to put it on the sandwiches and serve them to us. I will not be coming back!!!

(Nothing or no one went above and beyond to get a sold five stars from me, but I digress). We love ourselves some heart food, both hot and cold cuts of meat as well! Hot: #56, the Big Kahuna. If you're in the mood for a delightful Philly cheesesteak, you're in luck because they make one of the yummiest. BONUS there is a "secret menu" and if you ask for the #99 you'll get this sandwich made with Chipotle Mayo. Cold: #8, the Club Sub. This is the typical sandwich your cute mother packs you when you spend a day riding on a boat or going on a hike. Bacon, cheese, turkey and ham... the works. But don't forget to get it "Mike's Way" for that special zest. TIPS & TRICKS: * If you're looking for a little less carbs, ask for your Sub in a Tub and they'll make your sandwich perfectly places in a container and you can eat it like a salad. * There are lots of little dessert places surrounding this restaurant as well, so make a fun night out of it! Peruse Yelp and grab some cookies or ice cream or doughnuts to help wash down your sandwich!

The soup was perfect on this cold day. I would have been fine with the bowl of soup but I had to add a sandwich (for later). I ordered "The Pilgrim" with no onion no tomato, and it came with a bag of chips. You don't have to rack your brain trying to decide what kind of chips because they only have one kind. I was really bummed cause when I finally sat down to eat the sandwich at dinner the first thing I smelled was ONIONS and then saw the tomatoes. I picked them off hoping the taste of onions didn't penetrate the lettuce. The sandwich was amazing. It was huge. So big I only managed to get through half and had the other half for lunch the next day. Despite the onion and tomato on my sandwich, I still think they earned that 4 star review.
