    Fresh bread!
    Haley N.

OLD GRIST. This place will always hold a special little piece of my heart. I would come here all the time in college and grab a sack lunch-- $6 for a half a sandwich (that is as thicc as that special someone you've been eyeing at the gym), a massive cookie (that could hold it's own against one of your grandma's classic cookies), a foundation drink (that tastes 10x better through a straw amiright?), and a bag of Lays (which, let's be real, is a classic and you secretly love them). The ordering system is easy, you step in line, grab a piece of paper, and circle all you want. If you don't want to create your own brown bag lunch, there are plenty of other menu items to choose from that you can order from the counter. Soups, sandwiches, snacks. The WORKS. Employees do an awesome job, the restaurant is clean and social distancing (yeah that's right I'm coming at you from the year 2020), and again, it's a delicious meal leaving you full and satisfied without breaking the bank. TIPS & TRICKS: * Grab a loaf of bread on your way out, the cinnamon swirl makes for great French toast! * Put those sprouts on your sandwich, when do you ever get a chance to do that?! (And it's hecka yummy).

Einstein's knows how to do it. They have gourmet sandwiches, bagels by the dozen, and just a good old fashioned toasted bagel with cream cheese all ready for you to purchase. A variety of other food items is offered as well; juice, chips, baked goods, they even offer dog treats! **Just be careful, although they might look like human treats--they DEFINITELY don't taste like human treats (Trust the homie who accidentally mixed that one up).** The workers were just okay. They could have better people skills, that was my one and only complaint. I mean, I get there at the butt crack of dawn to have a delightful breakfast, and they could at least greet me with a happy smile! Other than that, great food, fun atmosphere, and good workers who make stellar bagels. TIPS & TRICKS: * Try the sesame seed bagel, it is incredible. * On warmer days, sit outside on their patio. You'll feel like a real hipster right then and there.

We were there shortly after the store opened and it was really clear the dining room and restrooms had not been cleaned and look like its been a while. Ants on the floor, restrooms disgusting. The food was ok but makes me worried that if the dining room and restrooms look like this, what does the kitchen look like. Won't be back!

They tend to be busy but waits aren't unreasonable. I don't generally eat in the storefront itself, but I think that it's very cute and benefits greatly from being a stone's throw away from Cafe Ibis. This month they have Reubens because it's March and they are phenomenal. (First pic.) Please go try them if you're a Reuben guy. As always their pastries are great.

Their croissants are amazing, the best in the country, award winning, their burrito, well, although good, it lacks a little flavor, but still five stars. Then why two stars? Why? One word, service. Nothing is more frustrating than walking into a food establishment and waiting 30 minutes to pick up two croissants. I walk up to the counter, I point at two beautiful butter croissants sitting right there behind glass, and say, "I'll take those two." The person at the register takes my order, but then doesn't just reach over and place the croissants in a small bag and hand them to you, they put your order in the queue behind ten burrito orders, so now you wait 30 or more minutes to pick up your two croissants. To me, this is absolutely ludicrous. In comes the coffee, now I understand why they have some of the worst coffee in the valley--cold, self-serve, rattle can coffee. They're located right next to the best five star coffee shop in the entire country, Ibis Coffee, so you might think, well, I'll go buy a cup of coffee at Ibis, and a couple wonderful fresh butter croissants at La Croissant. Nope, you'll order your two croissants at La Croissant, walk over to Ibis, order your coffee, sit down, drink your coffee, finish your coffee, and surf Facebook, long before your two croissants are ready for pick up. (No, you're not waiting for them to bake, it just feels like it.) ...and that's why two stars. Their own success and lack of efficiency is their downfall, and why I never go back.

The baristas have always been friendly and patient with my indecisiveness, hahaha. The drinks are always strong and sweet and creamy. That perfect combination that's hard to achieve. It's my addiction, once I get a sip I'm like "ahhhhh" *sigh of relief , take a deep breath * everything is going to be okay! It's just so good! A 24 ounce latte has 5 shots, yes, that is standard and it's amazing! They do tell you that every time though and ask if that's okay. They will do less if it's not of course. They have some unique and yummy seasonal drinks too! There's a blackberry vanilla Salt matcha that I love, the some corporate latte is truly divine. (Vanilla and caramel. ) The pumpkin lattes in fall are like an absolute must try, do not miss or you will regret it for the rest of time. (Homeade marshmallow whip cream, and pumpkin syrup. ) everything has always been so good, when we're in Logan the hubby and I will have to get 2-3 drinks each. (Through out the day of course!) Because we are that obsessed. The shop is really cute too nice decor, lots of seating, records and coffee merch for sale as well. ) And they gave open mic nights. Love Grounds for coffee! (I thought I wrote a review a long time ago, apparently not, so here it is all jumbled together. )

Is Heaven a Bagel?…read more Is a question you might ask yourself after going to Cheryl's Bagels. The bagels here will ruin you for all other bagels in Utah. The bagels are perfectly made. They're chewy and soft and spun with magic. You think you hate plain bagels? No you hate other plain bagels, because these ones will have you questioning all bagels you've had before they are made of pure heaven and glow with all gloriousness. You think you've had a good bagel sandwich? In Utah? No. These sandwiches are the most perfectly made sandwiches, the eggs are cooked so well, they don't fall off the bagel they're buttery, they are well seasoned. Every bagel sandwich I've tried is somehow my favorite and when I go I have to resist the urge to order multiple. Thankfully my husband loves to go halvsies so I never have to experience bagel sandwich FOMO. You want just bagels and cream cheese? You will get the best cream cheese of your life. You want a flat bagel to rip apart and eat? The enormous Flagels are in their own ballpark of delicious, they are crispy, they are salty, they are an incredible vessel in which to get cream cheese in your mouth. I have never been to New Jersey and New York but I almost feel like there is no need since Cheryl brings a piece of New Jersey with her to Utah. The cherry on top for this beautiful bagel sundae, is the wonderful customer service. Everyone is kind and Cheryl herself an absolute gem. If you leave this place hungry you're doing something wrong. After you eat here you may wake up in the middle of the night with a bagel craving that can only be quelled by a Cheryl's bagel. Any flavor you are blessed enough to eat will be one of the best bagels you have. I have included pictures but two of the items I bought were devoured instantly. The flagel is was devoured and only a small piece is left of this delicious creation.
