This is the best dining on campus. I love the California BLT and all the pastries. Literally. Every single one.

My personal favorite is the club wrap, which has bacon, ham, roast beef, and turkey (I think) with lettuce and onion on garlic naan.

When I am not with her, I have eaten the Yucatán, Hawaiian, Kimchi Burger and the Iconic. All very solid choices. The Morty's burrito is surprisingly good and a great choice for breakfast. One of our favorite things is the shakes and in particular, the German Chocolate Shake. An often over looked thing in Utah is the French fires. You guys don't understand how good you have it and we call them Utah fries. Absolutely delicious with a perfect crispy and texture with amazing flavor. I do prefer the ranch over fry sauce but either way is great. Thanks Morty's!

I feel like Morty's vibe sits somewhere between your local mom-and-pop burger joint, and something…read morelike a Freddy's. I ordered a Patty Melt and fries. 10/10, great caramelized onions and good spicy Russian dressing. Fries are good, not the best but certainly not the worst! (We did carry out, so I imagine they'd be better fresh!) My husband ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Burger, and he gave a 7/10. Well seasoned and good meaty cheese, but the peppers and onions weren't grilled quite enough. The chicken nuggets are not good, taste like frozen nuggets you'd make at home. A stark contrast to the great burgers. Weirdly, the soda was horrible. Like the syrup was running low. They need to change that in the machine and/or warn people. I'd be fine with changing my drink selection. The scone fries are a fun sweet to end the meal with. Less sweet than a funnel cake dough (imo) but the raspberry cheesecake dip really helped! Overall, I'll return, but be selective about what I get, and maybe I'll dine-in.

Emma's Nook - $1 Pretzel with a delightful Cinnamon Cream Cheese dip (few pennies extra).

Emma's Nook. Not the BEST but not the WORST--basically just average. It's the only place I've found…read moreon campus that offers pretzels, which I find myself craving lately. The only thing that makes them good; however, is the price and the sauce. Because I need to face it, the actual pretzel tastes a little like cardboard. It's very hard and has no flavor. But, I am here to tell you that because of this, the dipping sauces are impeccable. A pretzel costs $1, the sauce costs $0.50. Trust me. You need the sauce. My very favorite is the cinnamon cream cheese dip, it melts in your mouth and they give you so much! I should take the leftovers home one day and try it on a waffle... Another good one is the berry one (I think it might be raspberry?) Either way, it's pretty dang good too. So again, if you try the pretzel be sure to get the sauces to accompany it! TIPS & TRICKS: * Check in with your phone number at the front counter, for every 10 check ins, you get a free pretzel. * There is NOT a good place to sit at Emma's Nook, so get your treats to go and make your way out into the Education Buildings Foyer. It's open and bright and happy--just like the students. GO AGGIES.

The service is consistently great and the value is hard to beat. The sandwiches are a highlight, and my personal ranking so far: 1. Sandwich de Matambre 2. Sandwich Aconcagua 3. The new pepperoni and cheese empanadas are a must, and honestly every dessert I've had has been outstanding.

It was a little deceiving at first, because the parking lot looked a little empty (some of the other store fronts surrounding it looked empty too). I was happy to find it tucked around the corner. When you walk it, they have a little grocery area and the pastry counter. As you walk past the grocery aisles, you can find the restaurant seating area, which is a pretty big space. I was a bit short on time, so I chose some empanadas and some pastries to go. I tried the chicken, beef, and ham & cheese, which were all delicious. I got this pastry with a fruit similar to guava, which I devoured as well. The staff was super helpful and very patient with me and my indecisiveness. I hope to come back the next time I'm in the area!
