The most important thing to say about Stacked: The pancakes are amazing. Hands down, the best cakes I've ever had. There are quite a few varieties of pancakes on the menu and they all look delicious. Service was very friendly, if on the slow side, and the restaurant itself was comfortable in a homey mom-and-pop way. My only real complaint is how odd and inconvenient/inconsistent some important aspects of the meal are. Coffee is served in to-go cups even for dine-in orders--so much for refills. Syrup and catsup both come in little single-serve plastic cups; why not put a bottle at the table? And how about putting salt and pepper shakers at the table while you're at it? Still, the pancakes are so good I'm definitely going back. It's a nice little place, all things considered. read more

We always look forward to our visit to Stacked when in Logan! Easily our favorite local restaurant. Homemade pancakes and syrup, my favorite are the Lemon Poppyseed but even the plain OG are exceptional. Very cute, family run restaurant with friendly staff. Especially impressed by the great service Tate always provides, he goes above and beyond! And the perfect music playlist, the ambiance makes us feel at home and all for a great price! Took an hour to get our food from when we ordered, I understand things get busy but they had no hustle and 2 people doing almost nothing. After 40 minutes one of us went to go ask about our food and after he got up to the counter the phone goes off and they have him stand there for 5 minutes before even getting to hi, again while 2 people stand there doing nothing. Stacked was a huge disappointment. After waiting 45 minutes for my food, with blaring music making it impossible to enjoy the morning, my order finally arrived - and it was missing items! The pancakes were raw and the service was terrible. A table of 6 waited over an hour and a half to receive food, and at that time, only half the orders arrived. 3 out of 6 people never received their food. I came a second time to give them another chance, and the same thing happened again along with food being raw and orders being incorrect. When I went to the front of the store to inquire about the missing food, there were four employees standing around chatting. They clearly do not care about customers having a positive experience. I've come here quite a few times and although the food can be good, it depends on who's making it. I came here tonight with my family and we were the only customers there. There were two girls who seemed to be working, but one was behind the counter while the other was sitting on the stools. My family and I sat in the loft while we waited 45 minutes for our pancakes. 20 of those minutes were spent watching our pancakes sit on the counter while the girls were giggling and playing on their phones. I love the idea of Stacked. I ordered the lemon poppyseed half steak with sides of sausage and eggs. I would recommend asking for the lemon glaze on the side, it was too much and too sweet. Once it soaked into the pancake I couldn't scrape it off so I only ate half because it was insanely sweet. Friends loved their strawberries and cream stacks, can recommend that. My other complaint is that everything came out on one plate and that was not a great experience in my case. The small plate only fits the pancakes so they essentially stacked those on top of my eggs, which resulted in me struggling to eat them without dropping anything on the table (was not successful) and everything covered in glaze. But I would still return knowing to ask for glaze on the side, and I would love to try their savory stacks. read more

The atmosphere in here is immaculate! I came in to visit Logan, UT for the week and found myself at this pancake house nearly every day. The staff was incredible and made me feel very welcomed, even held full conversations with me which was really nice. The pancakes are incredible, i recommend the vegan pancakes! A single stack was enough to fill me up, and the syrup was delicious! I got a simple banana and peanutbutter one. They made me feel like family in an unfamiliar environment, which is weird to say but this place has a special place in my heart. Austin and Madison were sweethearts! Always had a smile on their face and made sure I was enjoying my stay. Very thankful that people like them exist and are in the food biz. Would recommend this place to all of my friends! By far my favorite spot in Logan! Also be sure to grab a sticker by the cashier, they're cute! read more

The food was pretty good overall! We got a savory and a sweet pancake to try some variety. The pesto one was pretty good, Turkey and cheese and tomatoes. The pancake base was sweet though, which I fear not everyone would enjoy. I was disappointed with the service however. We'd never been there before so weren't sure about the menu. When we walked in I wasn't even sure I'd they were open. A couple people standing behind the counter but they were all cleaning, nobody greeted us or offered any help. Coffee was awful. Absolute trash. Mostly watered down so we basically had coffee flavored tea and it was lukewarm at best. We only had about 20 min to eat before we got on the road for work so we didn't have time to complain and then wait for a new pot to brew. Plus, the young man taking the order ate up about 10 of those minutes trying to figure out the register/order pad. Food was ok enough. It's survival food to avoid "hanger" or sugar crash. We appreciated the very very young person that took our order was learning what it is to have a job. That being said, it took an almost painfully long time to put in a simple order and he had zero answers to the couple of questions we had about the menu.... Every single item here is good. From pancakes to french toast. You cannot go wrong. And service is good. It just seems like they are slow but because they are always packed. It's a nice restaurant where you can have a nice conversation with lots of people going entering from both sides of the building. It's nice and quiet. read more

Saw this place during Christmas but needed to come back. The menu is simple. You walk in and it's on the wall. Plenty of options when it comes to toppings. The kids got half stack of French toast and the flavor and texture were spot on. Son got the Stu. I am no fan of pancakes but these were fluffy and tasty. The idea of cheese and ham and egg just really made the menu of this taste great. Wife had lemon seed poppy pancakes. Very light and tasty. I has the Cristo. I am not a fan of fried but it worked well with the raspberry flavor. Mom had the patriot and for a gluten free pancake they did a good job. Dad had french toast and eggs and bacon. Really good overall. The system of delivery is the slower and not most efficient. Be prepared to be asked what your order is. read more

They were able to accommodate our large group with a table upstairs, which was nice, but two of us at the table got the breakfast sandwich which came with sausage, but they brought us out sandwiches with bacon. When I pointed out that the menu said sausage and not bacon, they said they've been out of sausage for a long time and only had bacon. The orders came out very slowly and all at different times. The restaurant wasn't very clean. -Our food all came at separate times and was mostly cold. The eggs were terrible. -They ran out of some of our items. Blamed someone else for not telling us. The fourth time I've been here to Stacked. The first 3 times were okay. This time the experience was absolutely terrible. They have a bunch of teenagers running the restaurant and we were waiting for over an hour. After waiting for an hour and 15 minutes we went and asked where our food was and they said they lost our order because their printer was broken. Like wtf??? Seriously? They had us write down our order. So we were upstairs waiting like a bunch of idiots and they didn't bother coming to find us and tell us? We could have been up there for 3 hours waiting. Great place for pancakes and hands down the best syrup I've ever had. Pancake batter and butterscotch syrup made from scratch. You could get just plain pancakes with their syrup and be thrilled. They really stand up on their own, but if you want more they have about 16 different variations of toppings to choose from. And the "buttermilk syrup was so exquisite, sweet and delicious, I loved it. The place is nice, it has ebough space to eat. They have a little second floor with chairs and tables to eat. The food is great. Fairly sweet so it's hard to eat a whole stack. I get the half stack and can only get through maybe half of that. Points off for 2 things: 1. The service absolutely sucks. We've been 3 times and have noted every time how the staff is not very welcoming or friendly. It's almost like they absolutely hate their job and do NOT want to be there. Every time you say something like "have a great day!" Or "thank you!" Or make any kind of small talk... you get absolutely no response. Nada. 1. It's an excruciatingly long wait for your food. Again, the staff acts like they don't want to be there. So movement is... slow. They make everything to order, which is great. But zero urgency on their part. All in all. Food is good. Out of town review. We stopped in here on a Monday morning. We had the French toast and a half stack of pancakes. The French toast is made with their own special bread and each slice is thick! We went in on a busy weekend morning and were excited to see the wait wasn't long at all! I wasn't really expecting to order then go sit down, but it worked well! I will say the kid that poured our coffee and asked if we wanted room for cream maybe doesn't drink coffee because those cups were half way filled, I wasn't expecting to have that much room for cream. They serve Cafe Ibis which made me happy! I loved that they had vegan pancakes and also had gluten free options! Overall I was VERY impressed about the options. The food isn't terrible, but after waiting a full hour on two orders of pancakes, I couldn't find it in myself to give more than two stars. It wasn't just us either... there were others that had arrived before us that we're getting pretty agitated as well. How long does it take to pour some pancake batter on the grill, sprinkle some chocolate chips and fruit, then send it out? It wasn't even that busy. Maybe if the food was ax little better than just ordinary, I wouldn't be so annoyed. Not coming back. Great food. When ordering we explained it was our first time. My little family of 4 with two littles under 6 were so excited to try this place! After sitting patiently waiting we realized we were getting passed up by other orders. I went to check in with the employees on our order. They had lost it. Which is fine I know things happen I've worked in many restaurants. But I'm also a small business owner and I know the importance of customer service and making things right. We waited about 80 minutes before receiving our food. Once we did, it was a drop off and asked if we needed anything else. I felt like with that big of a mess up you'd want to make it right. Even an apology. Motivation to come back..? Because of this experience and the zero remorse for losing our order, and making my kids wait almost an hour and a half for breakfast, we will not be returning. To me, that's not good customer service. And somewhere I won't support. Customer service means more to me than food. read more
