What a fantastic breakfast spot. I have no idea how long it has been in Logan, but I've been dozens of times since I found out about it a couple months ago. This place definitely doesn't help with my weight loss goals, but it's worth an extra 30 min in the gym to partake of their pancakes and delightful buttermilk syrup. I walked past this place on my quest for lunch and then decided to walk back and try it. So fun to find a breakfast place that doesn't close at 2! I got the Stellar Fellar, which was 2 eggs, bacon and 2 huge pancakes. (This was a half order). Pancakes were outstanding and the syrup was like candy. Hope I can drive back to Salt Lake as I may have a sugar crash half way home. I'm excited to come back and try this place again. Well done! I don't get the hype here. Yes, the pancakes are good but they're pancakes. They are no better than any other place that makes real buttermilk pancakes. I had a half stack of banana nut pancakes with milk and it cost me $9, and they left the pecans off. These are not huge pancakes, plus they make you wait 15 minutes. For the same price you can get eggs, bacon and hash browns with your home made buttermilk pancakes down the street in a fraction of the time. The buttermilk syrup is delicious so if you've never had buttermilk syrup, it's worth a try. And then make it yourself because it's really easy. This place is really noisy. It is a long hallway with no ambiance, no decor, nothing to absorb the sound. The seating is very limited, but with the noise level you won't want to sit for long. I am beyond livid with this place. My family adores this place and we've made it a family thing to come here eat and purchase their syrup when coming through Logan. We are normally so obsessed over there syrup we buy a couple jars and take them back home. Anyways. Approx 1 week ago I called ahead to order a dozen jars and that I'd be picking them up between the 3rd and the 5th. I offered to pay ahead of time and they declined and said to just let them know when I arrive. I AM SO THANKFUL THEY DIDNT CHARGE ME!! It's is 4th of July weekend. Alot of places close for the weekend. understandable. I called back on Thursday to double check the hours so they wouldn't be closed and would have normal hours. The MALE worker assured me they had normal hours today. Well they aren't. They closed at 2pm it's currently 5pm. And while it sounds stupid, I don't have the syrup. Ate here for the first time today. I was skeptical but the pancakes were very good and the half stack was plenty of food (I even shared with my toddler and it was enough). The buttermilk syrup is delicious and probably that's what will get me to come back. Drawbacks: This is a small thing but the strawberry chunks were not uniform- some were bigger than bite-sized which is kind of annoying when you only have a fork and you're sharing with a 2 yr old. My husband said the coffee was NOT good- so if you're a coffee drinker maybe pick up a good cup in your way there at Ibis or Starbucks. Also, some people took the syrup off of the condiment table and to their personal tables which I don't believe was the intention of the restaurant because there aren't enough for every table. It would be better if they just put them on each table. Ambiance was just ok- I prefer the Waffle Iron for ambiance and coffee and Stacked for the food. read more

The bacon was also good but my only complaint was I requested my over easy eggs to be scrambled and when they came out it was that dreadful sight of an egg hockey puck. Suuuper yummy pancakes! I always get the Texas Patriot; just half a stack since the pancakes are huge! Ask for whole wheat batter and you will not be disappointed. Once they even made fresh batter right on the spot because someone had left the lid off of the wheat batter and they'd gotten "oxidized". Stacked was great, just not amazing. It has a great atmosphere, very clean and warm and urban, fun for a date or an entire family. The pancakes were huge and even my teenage son couldn't get through the full stack of four pancakes. Syrup was delicious, especially house buttermilk syrup. But toppings were scanty. I ordered Aggie Blueberry pancakes thinking they were a typical blueberry pancake with blueberries cooked into the pancake, but it was just a small handful of blueberries on top. Still delicious, but not exactly what I was expecting, there were not enough blueberries to have one in each bite. The servers were courteous and helpful. The cutest little place! It was not terribly busy whenever we visited. The staff took time to answer our questions, and were incredibly friendly! I went with buttermilk pancakes with peanut butter. First impressions were pretty awkward. It was our first time here, went up to the front, looked at the menu, the girls working the front didn't say one word to us. We couldn't decide what we wanted, but had time because the place was pretty empty. The girl just stared at us, we finally ordered. Took about 15 min to get our food, would not like to come here during a rush. She did bring the food to the table which was nice, took me a minute to find the silverware. The pancakes were fluffy and tasted good. Didn't care much for The Cristo sandwich, wouldn't recommend it. When we were leaving one of the girls was cleaning right next to us and didnt ask how it was or a goodnight or anything. The vibe just wasn't welcoming and it threw the whole experience off. I've been twice in the last 8 days...and I live 2 hours away. Second time I got a Monti Cristo sandwich. Their bread is made fresh and very tasty. Stacked is AMAZING. So I went this morning, and after writing my order down on one of their available pads of paper, waited around for awhile for my order to be done. Though I was only investing $5, I was worried. There are several toppings available, should you wish to add them to your pancake -- chocolate, hazelnut spread, fruit, whipped cream, and more -- and the first topping is even free, but I didn't want any of those. I eyed the Mrs. Butterworth's sitting on the table, available for customers who wanted to help themselves, and resigned myself to the fact that my breakfast would probably be boring, and that it was all my fault. Then I noticed two little girls sitting next to the pancake stand, selling jars of Stacked's homemade buttermilk syrup. My curiosity was piqued, and when I asked about it, a woman behind counter nodded at a pitcher full of light brown syrup that I hadn't noticed before. I needn't have been concerned about mediocre breakfast. My pancakes came out cooked to perfection, with a small amount of butter melting on top. I added buttermilk syrup and tucked in. Heaven. The pancakes were great. The syrup was light, mildly sweet, and vaguely carmelly. My short stack was gone before I knew it, and I was already hungry for seconds. I guess I already know where I'm headed next weekend! Stacked is only open on Saturdays at the Cache Valley Gardner's Market, though, according to their website, they can also cater. You can buy their syrup on site and also online. The pancakes are made from scratch, like the buttermilk syrup, and a lot of their toppings appear to be fresh, too. Stacked is a great place for eating pancakes and related foods. It is located in a renovated, small-town sort of building. Much like a lot of hipster-type eating establishments, it comes with a wide array of interesting breakfast choices. The pancake batter itself is a pretty good recipe and whatever they put on top of them is going to be delectable. The one complaint I have about this place is the price though, for breakfast I wish it could be cheaper by a dollar or two. read more

After waiting for 30 minutes we asked them why we hadn't got our food since everyone in front of us and behind us had already finished eating. They said they were sorry and they would put our food on the griddle. After another 30 minutes of waiting are food still wasn't there. Next we went and talked to them and they said that they were almost done. But then they forgot to make our eggs and our garlic ribbons. We just said to forget it. We ended up waiting an hour and 20 minutes for our food. And they didn't even give us anything or say sorry once they finally gave us our food. They acted like we were a inconvenience to them. Stacked has only been open a week, and I've already been there twice. Their pancakes are delicious! The pancakes are light and fluffy, and the buttermilk syrup complements all of their pancake combos. My favorite is the Banana Cream Pie pancake (chocolate chips, bananas, and whipped cream). If you're not super hungry, I'd recommend splitting a half stack. It might not seem like it, but the pancakes will fill you up fast! The only thing I would change about Stacked is the prices. A half stack like the PB Fudge slide costs around $6.50, which is a little bit much for pancakes (at least on my opinion). Still, these pancakes were great. I will be back again! read more

If you're in Logan for breakfast, I highly recommend that you don't spend your money here. This place is an order at the counter pancake restaurant with dine-in prices. When I went, all tables were filthy, and the restrooms weren't stocked with toilet paper and soap. I let the staff know and they gave me a half hearted table wipe. The coffee is not unlimited and the syrup isn't real maple. Sucky place, sucky staff and worst of all atrocious restaurant setting. Wishing I hadn't wasted my money here. read more
