    Salmon - great!
    Dawn K.

For my elites, this is definitely not a 5 star restaurant. 4 max. Quality is good. If you're in Logan for sure try it out, but don't go out of your way. We started with the ahi tuna appetizer. This was great, we all loved it, wish it was a little bigger. The salmon entree was everyone's favorite, perfectly cooked and the vegetables were flavorful and crisp, loved the sauce. The grilled corn poblano salad add salmon. The zest and crunch of the salad was yummy, again Salmon was delish! Bison burger - this was good, a big portion of meat, it was just a little dry, we needed to add fry sauce. Fries are good. Cookie skillet was delicious, just wish it was bigger and thicker. But definitely hit the spot.

Even the way the chairs are set at the table is artistic and interesting to look at

We have been trying to find a proper VERY nice restaurant after moving here six years ago. A good friend suggested "elements". We went for an early Valentines lunch. It was absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself was beautiful, very clean, wonderful ambience and the service was excellent. We ordered the stuffed chicken, onion soup, half salad, and the burger. All four were beautifully plated, and delicious. Highly recommend. A great place to take clients that you want to impress, or a date, or celebrating wonderful anniversaries, and birthdays. We loved all of it.

Our last visit was on Valentine's day which is a challenge for any restaurant. We had a great experience. They had a reduced menu given the increased traffic. We ordered the baseball steak, which is normal on their menu, though it looked more like a filet than a baseball shape it normal does. The stuffed founder was a special and I would prefer it again if they add it to the menu. You can always expect a outstanding meal here!

This restaurant is conveniently located right next to the Springhill Suites, so it makes an easy meal while staying at the hotel. They offer a variety of menu items, a little something for everyone. My mom and I opted to sit outside on the patio and I fully recommend doing that if the weather is good. There's a beautiful stream that flows along the property with lush, green trees all around it. Just for that alone, I'd return. The food was just ok. I had the mushroom steak and found that the butter sauce was a little overwhelming and the flavor of the meat was lacking. I didn't much care for the overly sweet sauce on the carrots, either. However, this could just be personal preference; I'd try something else next time. Service was also ok. After we got seated, I realized we were there about an hour before closing, which I try not to do. But they took care of us professionally and didn't rush us.

I've been to some nice restaurants all over the country, and yeah, Elements can't compete with a lot of them, but considering the area and demographics of the area, Elements is outstanding and I'd come again and again and again. The food was outstanding. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was great. The steak was cooked exactly the way I requested, and the sauce for the steak was fantastic. My wife loved the salmon, and she can be pretty finicky with her seafood. The bread pudding was incredible. Moist, not too sweet, it was perfect. Between the two of us, including tip, it was $100, not really all that bad for a full shabang. Come to elements, if it's been a few years since you've tried, you'll be pleasantly surprised, as was I.

    seared salmon on coconut rice

I decided to try this restaurant based on another review that said how peaceful it was to sit by the river while dining, watching ducks waddle by. However, I was here after an unusally lengthy winter and now the snowpack was melting. The river was a roaring torrent. Even the walking path was under water. And no ducks. Nonetheless, dinner was pretty good and the service excellent. There is no table bread offered but for a small sum I got six pie-shaped slices of warm flatbread sprinkled with garlic and fresh parmesan. For the entree, I chose the seared salmon on coconut rice. The rice was tasty and the salmon cooked just right, but I was disappointed in the very small doses of other ingredients mentioned on the menu (bok choy, red onion, pineapple relish). There was enough to add color, but not to add taste.

Great service, great food, great feel. We didn't have reservations but were able to get in off season.

Great food. Steaks are usually not consistent, but everything else is always good. This is one of my favorite places to eat in Logan.

Everyone's food was amazing. The smoked deviled eggs and Korean quesadilla are especially good.

    Taqueria La Villa

    Taqueria La Villa

    (1 review)

Taqueria La Villa is a food truck, or, rather a food BUS. They feature a variety of tacos,…read moreenchiladas, and burritos at incredible prices. They also feature Mexican Coca-Cola, sangria soda, and Jarritos soft drinks. I've only been here once, but if anything else they serve is anything like what I just ate, this place is my new favorite Mexican restaurant in Logan. The only thing they lost a star for is not having some kind of air conditioner, window cooler, or fan inside the bus. It was a pretty warm day (in the upper 90s), and it would have been nice to be completely absorbed in my delicious food rather than focus on the heat. I feel bad for the cooks, too! But, no matter. I'll keep going back. It was so good. Husband and I shared a #5 and each got a soda (sangria for me, Coke for him). Our total came to $9 ($5 for the meal, $4 for the sodas), and it was more than enough food for both of us. The #5 was a big burrito with refried beans, seasoned rice, and the meat of our choice--we got the picadillo (shredded beef) and asked for the sauce inside and on the side rather than smothering the burrito (I like the taste and texture of flour tortillas without sauce). It came out on a pretty Mexican plate with finely cut lettuce (they do it themselves, not from a bag--I watched the cook slicing some more in the back while we ate), diced tomatoes, and a good-sized plop of sour cream. $5.00. Five dollars. FIVE DOLLARS DO YOU HEAR ME?! Not only was it inexpensive, it was GOOD. Good good good good. Probably the best burrito I've ever had, and I'm a really big fan of Cafe Rio's and Costa Vida's burritos. This was better. Each component was beautifully seasoned--the rice, the beans, and the shredded beef--and it all came together in this balanced, beautiful symphony of flavors. That's something a lot of American cuisine loses--seasoning each part so it comes together with complexity. This was magnificent. Tortilla was perfect, too. And then there was the sauce. The sauce gets its own paragraph. It was a mellow orange color and had a great consistency--not too thick, not too thin--and like the rest of the burrito, it was seasoned perfectly so as not to overpower anything--only to complement. I could have ordered a cup of that sauce and had it as a drink and enjoyed it immensely. My mouth is watering as I write this, and I ate it just a few hours ago. Magnifico. Our only regrets: not coming hungrier, and not noticing the bottle of chile sauce on the counter until we had polished our entire plate off. We both had a sniff and agreed it will be amazing. Guess we'll just have to go back. Like maybe for dinner. Or right now.
